Anybody else experiencing the following:
Some tracks don't play with earphones, then I unplug the headset, play the track over loud speakers then reconnect the 'phones and it works again.
Post solutions/experiences please?
Thanks!

EDIT: a reboot fixed this, feel kinda embarrassed now... mods can delete this if they want or if they feel it will be helpful in the future then keep this...

Hi
When hands free button is pressed (not during an incoming call) the music player starts.
It's very annoying because it happens every time I place my phone into a bag or pocket.
Does anyone have any idea how to disable this? Any suggestion will do!
(I own gt i9000 2.3.3 xwjvi)
thanks in advance
Handsfreebutton?
Hi,
What handsfreebutton are you talking about. I only have a posibility to choose for handsfree when I start a conversation. Maybe you have an alternate lockscreen where you can (de)activate this?
I'm talking about the headset hands free that comes with the device ... there is a button behind the mic, right? is the one that you press to answer a call. This button if pressed when there is no call, it activates the music player.

I didn't find any similar threads with this problem so I decided to start a new one.
The thing is, I just installed JellyBeans 4.1 Beta 1 and flashed my X8 with "E15i_JBMiniProject_v02" (Everything on this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1789713)
I also installed the Google apps in the thread like Google play.
So, the problem is that when plugging earphones into the device and then playing music or any audio app the sound goes both through the earphones and the speakers. I didn't find any separate volume options for speakers and earphones also when increasing or decreasing volume in the device, both speakers and earphones increase or decrease.
I looked carefully through the phone options and I didn't find any possible options. Note: I was kinda tired so I MIGHT have missed an option for this.
I tried searching for people wanting to force this to play both through speakers and earphones and I've only seen threads in developing forums, nothing as simple as an option I might miss-understood and turned it on.
NOTE: I also tried setting phone in vibration only mode and silent mode but still.
I know it's not the worst problem ever, but it's annoying because I can't use earphones without playing music via the speakers too...

So you mean there's no fix yet?
Sorry I didn't see the comment on the thread, didn't mind searching since the thread owner mentioned not to talk about bug in the dev thread :S.
BTW I'm the one who submitted the bugreport lol.
EDIT: Yeah, I'm blind, just noticed the guy who posted the app that fixs it.
Thanks for the help .

I confirm, MiniCM10 doesn't have that bug, but for me it's very laggy compared with JB Mini
After posting a thread about very low Bluetooth volume on my Xperia T it has got me thinking maybe it's a fault with my phone and not the same for everyone.
If you have a stock jb Rom, not sure if it's just on the T or others so please feel free to try other Xperias
Please can you connect some Bluetooth speakers
Start playing music in walkman or another player
Turn media, Bluetooth and system volumes up to max (in fact putting all the volumes isn't required, it does this for me at any volume, just proving it's not just a volume setting going up)
Then listening to the volume go to settings, sounds, volumes add adjust the alarm volume up or down, just so the phone plays your alarm tone
Has the output volume of the Bluetooth no suddenly doubled and you are getting great sound from the phone via Bluetooth?
I have found a few other posts on other forums with the same problem, but not a single fix, reason or way to sort it.
Please let me know if it does the same for you?
I love my T and it's finally becoming almost perfect for me after a few mods, but this is seriously frustrating and making me consider changing phones
Thanks

The link goes to a file not found? If you have it, could you upload it for me. I may try this experiment 3.5 I keep hearing about it. But I would also love to fix my stock .145 Rom
Thanks

You can send a message to peetr_, I'm sure he'll send you the fix.
ExperimenT 3.5 is really closed to stock .145, but with many fix & improvements.

.Hello everyone,
I had this problem with my Xperia T for a long time. I searched the forums for something like this but didnt seem to find anything similar to this.
So to cut to the chase the problem is that there is no sound from internal speaker no matter which source it is from: walkman, sms sound, call ringtone, youtube, etc. So there is no sound at all from internal speaker, but is I connect my earphones I can hear everything. The only thing that fix this is restarting phone. Now there are two things that triggers this phenomenon. First one is when I am switching between silent, vibrate, airplane and normal modes. Another one is when I listen to music with earphones plugged and I plug earphones out without turning music off. I did factory reset, but it didnt do anything. I am on latest build (9.1.A.1.141). So yeah thats pretty much everything.
If you need any more info please ask and ill try to provide it. Thanks in advance.

The thing with the earphone plug out is a known bug as far as I know. But I remember having read something about a fix in the T General Section.. Just have a look, you might be lucky..
I think the thread is called "Walkman bug solved" or something similar ^^

I have the .205 build of Jelly Bean for my Xperia T. I have been having a problem when playing music. I connect my Xperia via Bluetooth to my car stereo to listen to music, but sometimes my music will just stop randomly. This usually happens within 10 seconds of starting a song. Even after I try to play the song again, it will still happen. It also began to happen when I had headphones in, with no Bluetooth. I am using Google Play Music.
Any ideas as to what could be causing this? This never happened to me on .199
Thanks

I am also having problems with phantom vibrations when my phone gets "bogged down." And apps such as Real Racing 3 glitch while racing. Is this consistent with RAM problems?
It's could be anything from a old file system, to ram. I honestly don't think it's ram because it would be shutting down your phone, but because it has been suggested we'll start there. Uninstall all the apps you don't use, are you rooted or on stock?

I am rooted.
Ok so another thing you can do is get a ram optimiser from the app store and see if that helps
