Try to re-install again all the google services

Very easy trick! Hope this works for all....
This is an example of Asphalt 7 update issue, So try the same on other apps as well .....
1) Keep your Wi-Fi on in your Phone
2) From (Pc/Mac) desktop browser go to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftA7HM&hl=en (The main Asphalt 7 Google Play page, and make sure you Login on Pc with the Id you purchased it with)
3) Click Installed (Yes Installed, not Install as the game is already there and needs to be updated right?! )
4) Select the Device
5) Click Install and you will see the additional files being downloaded automatically on your Phone!!!
Enjoy and Press Thanks!! Cheers!!

[Q] Kindle - Registration failed - Please confirm your e-mail address and password

Hi All
I am running stock Froyo JPY and SpeedMod kernel. I have tried everything I can think of besides a factory reset (which is not worth it for Kindle), including clearing the cache, Dalvik Cache, registering over wifi rather than 3G, but when I click on the register button I get the error "Registration Failed - Please confirm your e-mail address and password and try again".
The device appears in my Amazon account, but I still can't log in to the Kindle application on the phone.
I have tried three different versions of Kindle, but the problem persists.
I have spent over an hour on the phone to Amazon support in the states, but they could not solve the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
Craig
Just a thought .
is your account with Amazon.co.uk
jje
I'm getting the same problem. On a Galaxy S running Froyo. I am using a co.uk account also.
Any solutions?
I have exactly the same problem.
I have two accounts with amazon.com and amazon.ca. It's the same e-mail address and password.
The app used to work, but for some reason, it doesn't anymore.
Between the last time I used the app and today, I flashed darky's rom and updated speedmod. By doing that, I just restored all my apps via TB, including Kindle.
For troubleshooting the problem, I did the same things as the OP.
I'm on darky's 9.3, with speedmod K13E if that help.
Thanks

Came here hoping to find a fix for this very same problem.
Emailed Amazon support last night and they replied by morning. (that's the good news)
They told me to uninstall...yada yada yada....did nothing.
I got them to call me and they suggested I download the app from the Amazon site (I pointed out that the link on the site sent us to the market)....tried it and failed.
Got them to ring me back and got the same answer, explained again what the problem was, what I'd done and the link on the site was useless....put on hold for 5 mins and they finally came back and said that the current version of Kindle for Droid "didn't work with the latest release of Droid"....hopefully a new version would be out soon.
Not sure if this is relevant to you guys too, but a few other apps I use don't remember who I am...eg Rail Planner Live treats me a new user every time I open it and forgets my settings....so could this be pointing the problem elsewhere? Is there a package or something that holds the reg info for apps?
Quick update on this kindle problem
There's a post on the Kindle forum on Amazon ( I cant post the URL here) but if you search the Kindle Forum for a post called "Kindle Android App " posted by a Mrs Fielding in Feb you will see the convo
I've downloaded Root Explorer and can confirm that even after uninstalling Kindle, it does in fact leave files on your handset. Problem is to delete those files with Root Explorer, I need to "Root my 'Droid" and for the life of me I cant get the damn thing into Recovery Mode

I think the fact you're sideloading commercial software might have something to do with it.
I'd take your query to another forum as XDA does not condone piracy (which i'm guessing you're doing as i don't believe Assassins Creed or Dear Hunter are legally available in XAP format)
thnx for the reply.....lemme know if u come to know anything

Getting rid of Gmail and the likes

Hello !
Despite owning an old phone (Xperia X8) I'm new to android smartphones.
When I got it, I prefered to use my Hazel instead.
Now, I've played a lot with the X8 and use R-Droid-X2 ROM.
I'm trying not to use a gmail account.
But the phone keeps starting gmail, and the Android market process.
So I've got questions :
1) how could I disable those processes to start ?
2) how could I remove these applications ? And is it safe for the running of the phone ?
Many thanks for your help and advice on these matters ...
Did you root your phone??
If not then do it,
You can download an app from the playstore ."disable service"
Or you can simply delete the gmail and playstore and the rest of the bloatware dusding "Root explorer".

HTC Desire 626 Apps Not Working, Recovery Not Recovering, Giving Me A Real Headache

Hi all,
This is my first post so if something is wrong please let me know.
So a few months ago I wanted to root my HTC Desire 626 but struggled due to KingRoot not supporting my phone, and there not being many guides online. I unlocked my bootloader via HTCDev and eventually gave up on the rest of it (I'm a Windows guy!).
2 days ago I installed CM Launcher 3D Pro (which I paid around $5 for on Google Play). After noticing the app was using too much CPU I removed the app and went back to my original Sense Home launcher. Later that day my battery died and when I charged the device and switched it back on everything went very bad, very quickly.
I had constant "xxxxx has stopped working unexpectedly" errors which mainly related to Google apps, such as Google Play, Calendar etc. I downloaded as many Google APKs as I could find for the apps that were throwing errors and copied them to install to my device manually. This seemed to fix a lot of the problems and I no longer get any error dialogs show up on the phone.
However now Google Play will not load (at all, it just has a white screen). Google Maps doesn't load either, and I get a constant notification telling me to update Google Play Services, with a side note saying Google Play Services won't run unless I update to the latest version. That would be fine if I could actually get to Google Play to update the thing As I said Google Play will not load up at all. Hence now I can't install anything from the play store (using the browser version to send the app to my device doesn't work either).
I've tried running recovery both via entering the bootloader and using Settings > Backup and reset > Reset phone and nothing works. Using settings doesn't respond when I tap OK, it just goes back to the previous screen, and using the bootloader just hangs on the HTC splash logo until I perform a hard reboot (holding the power button for 30 seconds).
Also Google Sync doesn't work, and when I try to remove my Google account or add a new account it doesn't work either.
What I need is a way to return to stock, the RUU files for my particular device via HTC don't work either, and in bootloader mode I don't see any options (either via fastboot or HBoot) to install a rom from a zip file, so I can't grab the rom zip file from a RUU by copying it from the temp directory on Windows. The reason I think the RUU files don't work is because my phone doesn't have a particular provider. I purchased the phone from Littlewoods here in the UK which was sim free (unlocked).
Is there anyone who has a stock rom and a way I can install it via ADB or Fastboot? I know I can flash the recovery via Fastboot with "fastboot flash recovery myfile.img" but when I try that with any recovery file the recovery still just hangs when I try to use it.
Any help is appreciated (before I take a hammer to it or use it as a YouTube experiment with liquid nitrogen or something).
Thanks in advance.

P40 PRO+ should work. but GSF is really random. Unfortunately, if it does not show up in step 20 after you attempt triggering it from Google Play Store, then you will need to start over again.

Hi,
It was working fine until Google Play Store was updated. Now, I have to redo the process again.
Hopefully, it will work again but for how long?
Is there anything to do not to let the Google Play store update?
Thanks.
I tried 10 times with 3 times getting 1 number and letter but each time I get this device is not play certified. I am able to access the play store. Has Google changed something or is my phone the problem as it was bought in China?

before you are trying to fix this issue, make sure you have uninstalled all the Google related apps: Google home, google maps, google classroom, Gmail, Chrome, youtube, youtube music, youtube kids, Family Link ... Nest, Linkedin (even this is from MS, but it will trigger the Play protect error) ... and there are much more that I cannot list them all. If any of residual apps exist, that will 100% lead to failure. I know it is hard to uninstall all of them, i made this mistake all the time, and then later on found out that some hidden app stayed in the phone, which i would need to do it again and again. Therefore, factory reset is always the best to ensure a clean system, but i also understand it is hard for people to reinstall everything and re-login all the accounts.
Another possible reason is: the google play service version, there was an update last month, and so far i found Play Services 21.18.15 is the last good and stable version. you can use that instead of 05... file from the preparation files.
06.GplayServices_21.18.15.apk
drive.google.com
or
06.GplayServices_21.18.15.apk
APK File
1drv.ms
i hope this note helps.
