I want to try myself to build a Froyo AOSP rom, so i'm facing a problem, i need the vendor files.
So, Theres any Vendor source already for Froyo for our device? Or rather, is it possible to use GingerBread vendor from CyanogenMod7 Sources?

You could use repo init -u git://github.com/CyanogenMod/android.git -b froyo This should have CM6 vendor.
i want to make a aosp build, and I need the device specific files, android_device_semc_shakira and msm7x27 for our device for froyo
cyannogenmod sources for x8 are only for cm7

For our device there is cyanogenmod official sources only for CM7
I had the Cm7 source and i built one time just to see how it works, and i flashed into x8 and blabla.
But there isn't Cyanogenmod official sources for Cm6 froyo.
And there isn't also any Google AOSP sources (i think, that's why i'm opening this thread) for Froyo. So i'm asking if any dev have sources for this, or, rather, sources for CM6 that i can use to build Google AOSP ROM

Ok, now I can build pure CM7, by use Squadzone's config with many enhanced config for working best with Galaxy Mini
Thank to Tj_style, Squadzone, Subpsyke, Mebitek and some people that I can't mention.
This build only work on GT-S5570 (GT-S5570B, GT-S5570L also work but please use your GT-S5570B,L stock rom as base.)
Not work on GT-S5570I because of different hardware.
Please upgrade your Galaxy Mini to stock 2.3.4+ to use this rom (XXKPK firmware recommended, for SEA user you can use DXKPD or DXKT6)
Some change from Squadzone's latest config:
CMParts: removed many config for Galaxy Mini (LED, Search button, Trackball, etc.)
Framework: when unplug charger, screen will turn on (like stock rom)
Framework: in power menu, you can go to download mode (from subpsyke's rom)
This rom is build from CM sources, with patched camera orientation fix (thank Squadzone) and some updates.
Some update include:
Superuser 3.0.7 + su binary 3.0.3.2

For proprietary file of Squadzone config. You can extract from Cyanmobile rom.
And yes, Mebitek config should extract from mebitek rom too.
About sounds folder. You have to replace original folder in frameworks/base/data if you build Squadzone config, on Mebitek don't have to replace but I've included backup in Mebitek file.
And you have to apply camera orientation fix too. (In squadzone github at some commit)

I'm using squad's kernel in this build.
For odex version advantage:
More /data free space
Something faster
disadvantage:
Use more space in /system (but still much free space 50+ MB)
Can't use theme patch (eg. ics status bar patcher). But you can use Theme Chooser.

Thanks for the direct answers.. One more thing, if I choose to flash subpsyke's or mebitek's kernel on this build, will it work or will it matter?
As you are going to remove options the Mini does not support, will you remove option for auto brightness?

Yes, mini not have ambient light sensor, like in stock rom. If enabled, it not working.

I will build this for 2-3 times of week, depend on update from CM source. and i will build this when me and computer are not busy.

This rom like official one, not many tweak like mebitek rom, not many configable like squadzone rom (but use his config).

tried to flash odex version,but stuck in android words...tried to wipe data and cache...why ???
fast and stable i guess. everything is working good except a few thing. mute camera shutter doesn't work.

On my phone this odex working (bootable) try to format /system and flash.

Mini has got no light sensor. So no function in stock or custom rom.

Is it possible to add the euphoria app/control to an existing rom?
I was using ICS Stunner - fantastic rom and I will go bak to it when the official ICS is released and the developer make a new ICS Stunner based on it.
I have now installed the Christelo rom but it doesn't have the Euphoria control settings, an it be added separately or does it have to part of the installed rom?
Euphoria is AOKP ICS only. To my knowledge there is no way of making it work on any other GB or non-AOKP ICS rom.

I did a Google search, still not any wiser as to what it means to be as an end user or to answer my original question. I suppose I'll just have to go back to ICS stunner and lose the s-memo etc. until the official release comes out if I want to make use of the euphoria features
Before flashing Stunner please read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1633938
If you just want Euphoria and don't care about ICS then I advise you just stick with GB for the moment because all ICS roms are flawed at the moment. If you want ICS without Euphoria you can try CM9 and if you want a little more customization you can try the MIUI rom based on CM9 but it has some bugs.
