Hey everyone, when listening to music or playing games with volumes at low levels and headphones on, I am able to hear vibration sounds through the headphones when I type or press anything that triggers the haptic feedback. Anyone else with this issue?

Vibrations being transmitted down the headphone wires possibly?
No, I can clearly hear a vibration sound. Could you please test it and confirm the issue?

i need to set my diamond to vibrate mode during my lectures yet i wanna listen to my music. My problem is that when the phone rings it sound through the loudspeaker too. Is there any app that can solve my prob? or any reg tweaks? Thanks very much guys.
me too...
blame the lecturers.. they are boring
When I plugged in my earphone and listen to music, incoming call/mms notifications will come through the earphone. That's really annoying. Anyone know how to set to let the notification sound come from the speaker? Thank you!
I'm curious as well. Been having the same thing. So far, I just have to put it on vibrate when I go for a run.

Really don't think it possible, look at it from this perspective, if you have headphones on and are listing to music ,chances are you will not hear the alert coming from the phone speaker, the only solution is to set all notifications to vibrate while listening to music

Hi I was wondering if there is a setting to prevent notification sounds from going through the speakers while earphones are plugged in.
Notifications sounds are only played through earphones if music is playing but through the speaker when no music is playing.
Thanks!

Oh yeah that is a nice feature but what is bothering me is that when music is paused or off, I still want to hear the text notification but only through my headphones. Smart Connect only seems to allow to manage connection of device events; I see that it can change sound modes and volume profiles but my minor annoyance is a little more specific. Right now, when music is paused/off I hear the text notification sound through my earphones (good) and also through the phone speaker ().
Weirdly enough, Whatsapp does what I want (headphone sound only). I've tried using the default sms app and Textra SMS and both still use the speakers in addition to headphones.
Hi
Did you find a solution/reason for this?
I have a Sony Xperia Z3 and the same thing happens to me. I have the headphones set as MH750 (which came with the phone) and I can't seem to find any other settings related to headphones and notifications on the phone.
For now setting the phone to vibrate or quiet/silence mode seems to work, or also turning the notification sound to 0. It makes a little sens for example if you are connected to Bluetooth headphones but don't wear them and your alarm clock goes off to wake you. That way you will hear it for sure.
Hay guys
I have a problem with my new S10+.
As soon as I connect headphones the notification sounds are no longer playing. I haven't checked if they are still played on the speaker of the phone but it's really strange.
Is there any setting I might have to change to get notifications playing on headphones as well?
But the wat the keyboard sound I can hear on headphones as well as media .
Thanks for help
When listening to music or watching a video the volume would lower and become loud again after a second or two repeatedly. I've been experiencing this issue since launch, usually fixed by a reboot. Curious if anyone else is experiencing the same.
I haven't been listening to music on this phone yet, but I know on my OP1, the volume would lower for a second whenever there was a notification and then go back to normal.
I have a really fast notification ring so sometimes it will finish its ring before the volume has a chance to lower itself.
Maybe worth revising the Dolby settings, Also the absolute volume setting in Developer options.
Been getting this on speaker and using earphones, haven't tried bluetooth yet. All the dolby atmos stuff is set to none.
