Meh
They are just vinyl stickers.
They look awesome until they start to peel on the corners.
0 - minimal protection for the phone.
Overall, don't expect it to last long if you keep it in your pockets, unless you are really good at taking care of things.
Just my experience though.
I figure itwould still protect it when I sit it down tho

I stick my own semi-transparent skin... cheap and good intact.
Check out this. I don't think the edge can peel off easily

I just got a free one from sprint today. Seems like pretty good quality. I keep my Nexus in a case while at work, but on weekends I normally have it out. I just got it to save the back piece from major scratching.

sprint25 is a promotional code on sprint.com...check the shop all accessories and you'll see the Skinit promotion.
I wish Spigen could make a Stehen series equivalent of the case they make for 7 inch Galaxy Tab. It looks so sleek. I emailed them few weeks back but they replied there is no plans for it

Nice, but I think the closest thing you can get to that at this point is the Noreve cases. Look down a few threads and you'll see it. It's expensive, but unlike a lot of other cases out there, that seems to be actual leather, shipped from France. I personally wanted to get it but the timing wasn't right and also I am getting the Seidio Active case.
Noreve cases look beautiful. I was tempted to get one too but I'm waiting on Seidio active in royal blue instead.

This looks so much better than Noreve (me thinks...) I am willing to pay 100$ (or £ if you wish I am in the UK) for a top quality case. Although I suppose that a lot of manufacturers of premium cases thinks who is going to pay for the case half the value of their tablet. That is why you see a lot of premium products for fruit tablet which costs so much it is easier turn justify paying premium for accesiries.

Correct in that assumption. However, the Noreve cases are the closest thing to that pictured case. There are a few other options to the Noreve case that can make it different and rise the cost of the case if you like lol.
I know of Vaja, makes premium cases as well but mainly for the Apple lines. The "i-volution" line was the cases that looked similar to what you posted. I used to buy those all the time for my PDA's back in the day lol.
I've had a really poor experience with SGP screen protector so I'm not touching anything they sell, sorry. Not even cases.

This case must be hard to find. I had a 3 week old one i sold on ebay last week and it went for $41....the case was only $38 in stores. Its a really nice case. Feels really good in the hand. Some people complain about the kickstand but i like it. Heres a thread i started with some pics http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2014892

Not there yet. I've been looking and emailed case mate they said just keep looking. looking thanks
my 2 cents
Hi all,
Just wanted to chime in on this case. The protection is great and the side grips make the feel more solid as opposed to slippery. The extended rubber on the face helps when it is facedown or when it potentially drops so it's not flush against the floor/table. My only beef is that the kickstand rubber part has come loose so i'm not sure how durable that part is, it's not that much of a hassle as I can still manage to prop it up but I'm afraid it will eventually break off.
Most complaints are about the difficulty of getting the kickstand out
P.S. all ports are accessible i.e. stylus, charger, headphones, camera, speaker
Raised power & volume up/down buttons
Whats the matter with case makers these days? Release the case with just 2 colors, one is black the other is white with pink. Its exactly like body glove diamond series... ffs have they ever thought men uses with white case too? Why pink?? Could just use red and that would plays with well with both genders...
Nice looking case but have always had the rubber part warp on every case I had. Evo 4g, evo 3d, and the skyrocket. I ended up using the speck case for my note 2. Even if anything happens to it I can exchange it for free at the att store.

Hello all,
I know this has been asked before, but I never found any answers in the other threads. I'm not sure if that's because there is no answer to this question, or nobody looked around enough.
So the question is, are there any alternatives to Lifeproof cases for our device? I'm not talking about universal waterproof bags or anything like that. I mean a legitimate case. Something that is both rugged, and waterproof.
I've emailed Seidio, asking about the OBEX for our device. I got a big "No" in response.
Does anyone know of an alternative?
Thanks.

What's the reliability of those skins? I don't have any experience with them.

The answer for the case is NO, we've contacted all the too manufacturers and there all said that the spen precludes them from making such a case.
It looks like we're all stuck with waterproof skins.

How exactly does the s-pen stop them from making such a case? Surely if anything it'll just be a bit less accurate due to the way it works. It doesn't have to be touching the screen at all for it to register a touch and you can make it more or less sensitive too.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Because if the case is water tight and the spen is stored in the phone.....how do you get the spen out?
They don't want to find a way and they refuse to make a case if you can't remove and use the spen while using the case even though probably 99%
Of note 2 users wouldnt care and just want a stinking waterproof case!
Sent From My Ginormous Note 2
I agree, I would sacrifice the use of an spen if such a case was needed. I wish these companies could understand that... Just seal the damn spen in cause if you ever needed a life proof case you're not going to be taking notes.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Could also have it clip onto an optional holder on the side or something
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
I agree. I could do without my SPen for the sake of a waterproof case.
Does anyone have an idea of how large of a demand these companies would need to develop a case for this? There's millions of Note II's out there. There has to be a good chunk willing to buy a case like this.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda premium
I commented on Siedio's Facebook about the OBEX and their response was because of the Spen functionality loss.
Could we petition this or something? Or a revolution. Yes. I like that idea. We can have slogans and everything.

I've seen this case in this forum before, but I don't recall if it was actually waterproof, shockproof, etc, or not.
The seller has 100% positive feedback, and it ships from Hong Kong.
Sketch? Legit? What are your opinions?
Looks like a reasonable alternative but I wouldn't trust it under water. Also I think it's butt-ugly... However, if I were going out into the wild I would consider that case.

If you read the feed back most of the folks that left feedback are no longer registered users. Proceed with caution IMO.
I know, I know. I saw the thread about not using screen protectors, but what about the privacy protectors. I know they make them for blackberry's and I had one on the droid x.
Has anyone used any, if so, which brands and how well did it work?
thanks folks!

this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1918008
apparently it jacks with the s-pen sensor. :-/
softer ones might but any decent screen protector shouldn't have much of an effect if at all on the sensor. Might feel a bit weird but that's all
Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
OMG, that Op should be strung up. If you go on to read the thread you will find dozens upon dozens of people disagreeing with that post, and the OP makes the most ridiculous claims. You should NOT take anything that poster says literally. I've never heard of any sp, even the super cheap ones, mess with any sensor or spen.
Buy whatever you want with confidence.
