Look At the "nog niet" = "not yet" unlocked part, does this mean it is Getting unlocked soon? Or in The future?
I hope it gets it at JB

Staat beneden bij de screenshot : Geachte LG,
Ik heb gehoord dat in de update Jellybean voor de p880 de bootloader word geunlocked, is dit waar?
its at the screenshot bottomg : Dear LG
I have geard that in the JB update for the p880 the bootloader gets unlucked, is this true ?

anyways, you should note, that LG support do not know about the LG OpenSource planned release of an unlocked bootloader.
they probably think the unlocked bootloader, needs a key which they do not share, and someone buys. so support might mistaken the question with a door key
bootloader can easily be gibberish like dutch to some foreign people

NL is still part of EU and is still in Europe, so if LG Opensource says they are to release the bootloader, forget whatever a callcenter in netherlands say (they might actually be located in NL).. believe what the global LG says.
I believe what they told me for europe, local supporters do not know anything.

Worth noting that it has been said that the Euro Open version phones will have their bootloaders unlocked (or will have the hability to do so).
Mine was bought in the Netherlands, unbranded, and it's not euro open (NEU), but NDE (netherlands).
So, speculating, it can either be unlocked if I flash the Euro Open kdz when it's available, or that won't work (because the bootloader can differ from one version to another).
We can only wait

if they change bootloaders in NEU and it differs on others, im sure XDA forum and other forums will be filled with "brick my phone flashing kdz, what now" in the near future that would be a very, very bad move from lg.

Moreover, still speculating, Sony's (and I think HTC's) bootloader unlocking tool uses the IMEI to generate an unlock code.
In the P880 the IMEI is known to determine the region of the device, and therefore a similar tool can be limited to a certain range (Euro Open).
I don't mean to be too skeptical about that, I just think that if LG in fact intends to limit this possibility to a few devices, they might be able to do so, at least for an indeterminable period of time.
Anyway, getting Jelly Bean, with bootloader still locked, might satisfy our eagerness for some time

eindelijk
Het begint er op te lijken dat er misschien toch een unlocked bootloader in zicht is. EINDELIJK!!!

About SPL unlocking, and network unlocking.

Hello everyone, we are a group of HD7 lovers having a hottest HD7 forum in China, and want to share our experience with you worldwidely.
Most of us purchased T-mobile version HD7, some are htc version. We can use "China Mobile" or other operators SIM card, with good reception of telephone, SMS, GPRS & 3G , but many HD7s can not flash ROMs. My HD7 shows "Security Unlocked" on top of Bootloader Mode, can flash different rooms such as RUU_Schubert_O2_DE_1.61.207.01, RUU_Schubert_TMOUS_1.20.531.01, RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_SEA_WWE. But others are without "Security Unlocked", can only flash few rooms like RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_SEA_WWE.
Following questions puzzled me for a long time, we want some help:
1. There are lots of HD7 unlocking service selling about $15 online, do we need to buy it, since we can use local SIM on T-mobile HD7? Is this kind of unlocking service meaning "network unlock"?
2. For those can not flash ROMs, is that because of SPL locked? What does "Security Unlocked" mean? How we can flash other operators ROMs?
Also, our HD7 can display Chinese language, but we need Chinese input inbuild WP7 so badly. Now we are using free apps such as "Chinese SMS", "Lights Chinese Type", but we are looking forward someone maybe can help to develop inputs. Otherwise we can only waiting for Msft release Chinese ROMs, which is unknown date.
Thank you so much for your concern.
Regards.
1, is only to sim unlock the phone (and nothing more)
2, sec unlocked is that you can flash all the STOCK rom's (and only stock rom's , and radios but that isn't that interesting for you)
what you could do :
look for someone that can make a working goldcard (fakes the sec unlock , so you can flash all the stock rom's)
or you can wait for Hspl/sec unlock
but your main problem is the input language and that will take long (the system isn't hacked )
I think that MS is faster with lang updates then the hackers can crack the system.
so I say wait for the updates .
Thank you sooo much for your detail reply.
I want to know more about goldcard for HD7 sec unlock, where i can find more info in the forum or some websites?
Best regards.
And what does "security unlocked" on bootloader mode mean ?

a goldcard is a file that you put on a sd card (for the hd7 you need a "Y-cable to connect a cardreader to the phone and an external power supply ) this is a generated Key that bypass the vendor ID checking (you can flash all the stock rom's)
jasonsharp said:

this mean that the bootloader is security unlocked (no need of a goldcard) and that you can flash all the stock rom's you can get your hands on and you can flash radio rom's from different phones (DON'T try to flash radio rom's that at this point in time)
here is a link where you can get a goldcard http://psas.revskills.de/
security unlocking isn't available now (hackers need to crack the stuff they need for sec unlocking)
Thank you for your time, Ceesheim.
Want to discuss with you more. Hope that won't bother you. I bought T-mobile HD7 online and I think it is the original pack directly "imported" from the USA, because there is a T-mobile SIM inside, and the accessories are not unpacked. IMEIs all match.
Here is my question again, i assume the first buyer in the USA unlocked the DH7 network so that he can sell it in China or other countries (nobody will buy HD7 if can't make calls), but i dont know how he did "security unlocked". I bet some Americans know how to do it.
I also keep update with Ansar's development. He is doing a great job. But i think there are many firends in this forum can not flash Stock ROMs or Custom ROMs, even those made by Ansar. If we could find out what happened behind "security unlock", maybe it is good for all of us, bcz we can flash all rooms.
I flashed this ROM for the first time (looks like a SingTel Rom, with some SingTel apps):
RUU_Schubert_hTC_Asia_SEA_WWE_1.57.728.02_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_Signed,
Now i am using this (without any operators apps, but with 5 lang packs):
RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.60.401.01_Radio_5.52.09.16_22.33a.50.10_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE
Here are some pics of my HD7.

the first buyer didn't do the sec unlock (only sim unlock I think) , HTC did that . as we speak only HTC can sec unlock the hd7 (there are alot phones htc delivered unlocked , but don't ask me way not all phones are unlocked)
and here you see the different , I can only flash O2 DE rom's (I am not sec unlocked) , you can flash HTC_Europe , hTC_Asia_SEA actually every stock rom .
goldcard is the only thing to bypass the phone right now and it allows you to flash every stock rom there is .
Understood now, you are really awsome.
Thanks for all your help

you do know this is just a good joke? we could already have that rom if the guy was actually doing something real.
having drivers developed and using existing stock kernels have existed for ages.
the video was fake, and just running a launcher with a settings apk from cm10 and build.prop modified, why would you believe anything else when its been months since we got cwm and the option to install roms?
even i released a bootable cm10 with call function disabled, but thats at least more than a video showing fake presentation with edits all around on a developer phone.
honestly would not use that as an argument to get bootloader unlocked.
its easier to get 2nd-boot to work i guess than having bootloader unlocked, we have already seen that is possible.

Yeah he could probably in some time maybe hack the P880 bootloader indeed. It seems he has done the same on that device that also had a BCT encryption like our device. But then again he will need to have a P880 phone to start hacking it. So the donations should be a lot

What do You guys think? (i'm not a dev, lol)
Willing to donate 20 euros, via Bank transfer (IBAN), or via Paypal. In both cases fees paid by the developer who gets the bounty. My offer is timely limited till the end of 2013, after that I most probably will already have sold the phone.
I can chip in $50 just to get this thing unlocked! But will have to wait for 2 weeks for my funds to come in. Just recently got back from a family vacation in San Diego and will be leaving for another trip to Vegas in 3 weeks...so money is pretty tight at the moment. But im definitely willing to chip in $50!

Edited post........
If the Moto unlock website stops working then report it to Motto, via their official forums. They will then rapid and fix it.

General Moto G50 5G Is receiving Android 12 in UK and EU.

As always OTA will get later on but for now there is available as firmware on mirrors.lolinet.com in folder Motorola/Ibiza/
For the OTA you'll need to wait some more time. Around 3-5 business days for Motorola to release it as an OTA. Also more delays will have phones that are from carriers like TelEU, Play and etc.
Update 21/04/22
Firmware is available for all update channels. I'll keep on checking the update.zip for updating your phone instead of flashing and erasing your current data.
Update 21/04/22 20:03
Android 12 OTA is being rolled out in
Poland
UK
Germany
Netherlands
Italy
Bugs or errors:
Phone is getting hot while in pocket or a bag.
Avg temp: 38,8°C Max temp: 45,3°C
If you have problems with the update reply to this thread. It will be easier to track bugs if they have workarounds or not.

od razu po aktualizacji chwilę będzie się zacinał bo instaluje jeszcze dodatkowe aplikacje typu Gry, Ready For. U mnie też hula wszystko nawet w sumie lepiej niż na 11.
Immediately after the update, it will stutter for a while because it installs additional applications such as Games, Ready For. For me, everything is even better than at 11.

To się zobaczy. W razie jak się ciąć będzie to mam drugie urządzenie z czystym lineageos 18.1. Xiaomi Pocophone F1.
W razie czego pójdzie hard reset. No ale trzeba sprawdzić w końcu tego Android 12.
I seem to have lost 5g connectivity. It's not an option in preferred network type.
Just got "4G,3G,2G" as the only option,

Maybe your carrier disabled 5G on your phone.
I had this happen one time.
But now for my phone 5G is available and working reliably.

No problem with 5g option on my g50.
System is smooth too.
Finnaly got my update 2 days ago (on vfeu update channel).
Running smoothly but a bit disappointed from a UI point of view. Quick settings pull down missing mobile data button, the settings menu not looking quite right in dark theme, changing from vibrate to mute and so on when pressing the volume button when locked is a bit awkward. All down to personal preference i guess.

Maybe this isn't the right place but recently G100 got A12 and has this exact same problem. 5g doesn't work.

It's kinda use based bug it happens randomly after the update. Some ppl get this bug or not. It has been already reported to Motorola.

It's definitely not random. I have unlocked bootloader so I can downgrade and flash and downgrade to double check things. Every time I flashed A12 stock Motorola rom, no matter what the region is (RETBR, RETAIL, RETEU), there's no 5g. I think Motorola messed up modems or some config so in some regions with some providers this bug happens. No such problem in A12 custom ROM btw.
Hopefully we get fix soon, but given Motorola, soon is never likely.

Question Redmi Note 12 Pro India Rom on Chinese phone

Hi Guys,
Can someone please give me some advise? I am currently in China and bought a Redmi Note 12 Pro. I am from Europe and like to have all the Google apps including chrome and maps. I have installed Play already on this phone and all works quite well. However i cannot use the search bar as it only has the option of 2 Chinese search engines.
Can someone tell me if it is possible to install the India Rom on this phone and if so will i have free access to Play and google as a search engine?
Thank
Al
yes
Unlock bootlocker
Flash india rom
But I found the nfc not working after flashed india rom
@galenzha0
Thank you so much for the response. I can probably live without NFC until a fix or a global rom comes out.

Can you flash india rom on stock recovery? The person using this phone won't care about NFC
...and I'm rusty as hell with flashing, so would need instructions, I dunno if you use twrp - I can't find a version for this phone with a quick look
........
It's OK I flashed the india rom and it shows as global in the about phone section, don't care a bit about NFC so I'm happy

Hi All!
I've unlocked and flashed the Indian Rom V13.0.4.0.SMOINXM using MiFlash
It boots into the Recovery Screen saying "This MIUI version can't be installed on this device".
Am I doing anything wrong?
Thanks guys!

flashall
not flashalllock
keep bootloader unlock ed
You can't re-lock the bootloader on a rom for a different region, you have bricked your device. Try reflash (in fastboot mode) the chinese stable rom from here LINK
Then reflash the india rom but choose the following pic choice.
And read this below first
PSA: Flashing MIUI Global on these Xiaomi devices may brick your device
If you flash MIUI Global ROM on certain Xiaomi devices with a locked bootloader, your device will not boot. Here are the Xiaomi devices that could brick.

All Xiaomi smartphones and tablets will have anti-rollback protection enabled. What is it and how do you avoid bricking your device because of it?

Thanks galenzha0!
It worked for me!
Will I be able to re-lock when the Global Rom be released?
I've flashed a Poco X3 Pro from EEA to Indonesian (to get the call recording enabled) with the same procedure and it worked after re-locking the phone!
I didn't understand very well why I couldn't re-lock at this time!
Thanks

You can't relock it , Xiaomi are preventing it because people were buying chinese imports cheap, flashing global roms and selling them at higher prices. For now, your bootloader stays unlocked whatever rom you install that isn't the region specific software.

OMG!
Didn't know about, otherwise I wouldn't buy the Redmi Note 12 Pro til the Global!
The issue for now is NFC (Google Pay Contactless) and some apps like banking that doesn't work if you unlock the device.
Do you guys have any advice or should I return it to the seller while I still have time?
No, you will be able to install the global rom when it is released, however you will (unless there is an exploit) have to keep your bootloader unlocked. I think banking apps and Gpay complain more about rooting then bootloader but don't quote me on that, I'm not sure and it's early days.... Its a good hanset give it time
Had this guy help me since he has an authorized account: [email protected]
I ended up bricking my phone trying to sort it out, but he fixed it with the special Unlock Tool.
Got the factory ROM loaded and bootloaded locked. Can now use Google Apps including Google Pay/Wallet.

What is the factory rom? I only see India (no nfc/gpay etc) and Chinese so far. I didn't mind the chinese rom but there were still portions of it that hinged on the language.
