If you mean the icon its not build.prop, it will be a mixture of systemUI, framework-res and semcgenericUPS

The icon of nfc in JB is also gone but in build.prop you can set the icon to true and it is back after reboot. So i was thinking witch line i have to change for Wi-Fi on location.

Thats where the ICON shows up on mine. No I haven't changed the build.prop at all. Non rooted JB with locked bootloader.
I flashed the European JB ftf last weekend and then downgraded back to UK ICS 303 yesterday and let PCC update it to UK JB..followed by repair using SUS.

You will have to wait for your phone to get jelly bean update. After that, use an app called Triangle Away to reset your flash counter. Then unroot the phone and flash stock with odin

If you rooted with method that increase binary counter of your phone - there is not option to revert it to original state. Samsung will know you did "bad things" with your phone. And good news are that binary counter could be reseted when we get JB, with use of Triangle Away. Till then nothing.
Thank you all for the enlightenment

Hi everyone,
I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 mini and rooted.
The Google play store and the youtube used to function normally before the root, but after I rooted my device I opened the Play Store and it said "No Connection" but I had internet connection, the browser, facebook and these kind of apps worked normally. I tried to remove my google account from my device and tried to re-add it. Had no luck in adding it, it said Can't establish a good connection! even though my device had a good internet connection.
This happened also to my brother's Galaxy Wonder (Cm10 rom and rooted) but I fixed it by re-flashing the rom and everything went just fine afterwards.
My device has the stock rom and I don't want to change it.
What should I do? Please help me!
Model number: GT-I8190
My android version is 4.1.2 and baseband version is I8190XXAMD3
Stock Rom and Kernel.

I've tried everything in that post, still nothing works.
Google playstore opens but it keeps telling me to put a google account.
(When it gives the two options Existing or new). After I put the email it says can't establich a good connection.

How to flash or install it?
And is it original or official? I mean if I install it would it update itself when google releases a new update for the play store? Or must I download it by my self and install it like I will do with this one?

Ok if I have got no other choice. But how?
Settings then factory data reset?
Do a factory reset, if that don't help you I would recommend you download your AMD3 for the i8190 and install with Odin.
Download your firmware from here look under i8190 4.1.2 then your country. Don't know where your from, so don't know which country you got to pick. If UK then pick BTU.

I'm rooted and stock on Verizon n3....no problems here
What's new in the update? Is it worth updating?

I just updated mine while being rooted. I had to uninstall updates then then update. Try that and see if it helps. Had to reboot as well. When I just tried the typical update like normal it kept locking up my phone, that's when I rebooted uninstalled then started over like when u first pair your gear. Everything works and I'm on the new version and rooted gear as well. Last time I did the update I had to reset my gear and lost root but this time it didn't.

Here's a ROM by Acer73 Rayglobe Flex.
Details of fully customized ROM found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2590613
Only tested on 12b firmware.
Need full wipe. Backup first.
Flash from recovery.
After first boot, do a reboot. Then change network mode to LTE/CDMA and check data roaming. This is an international ROM so data will be roaming.
Bugs: Signal bars don't move. Must use 3rd party like chomp to send MMS. Must change pc connection in setting to media for computer connection. More...?

Only use stock kernel in aroma. I tested this with full wipe.

Any chance you can hack the mobile hotspot, I added the modded one to the flex Rom posted here but it'll randomly disconnect your item that is tethered to it.

What is the difference between this ROM and the Flex ROM that krazie1 posted???

Awesome have you tried connecting anything? I noticed you said to put roaming on, that'll charge us verizon users. You can most likely dirty flash over a stock vs980 rom and you could get data without roaming.

Yes, got connected to my old droid on WiFi.
There's no roaming charges through vzw unless ur outside US. Plus ur connected to vzw towers. How u gonna get charged?
No dirty flash. Clean wipe recommended.

Thanks for answering that, I thought we got charged for roaming in US. Just googled it and confirmed your answer. Thanks for the ROM

Though the rom reads as roaming, ur not. This an international global Rom, that's why it reads that. I found fix to make it not show roaming, but it breaks calls.

I was on malladus 1.3 hybrid. Wiped cache and dalvik and flashed this ROM and I have 4G without roaming checked. Running great so far. I never did 12B OTA update which is why I flashed it that way.
It also shows my phone as a D802, but that's not a big deal at all. Runs great so far

SMS is working fine, MMS won't work on WiFi. Tried sending it on WiFi, only sent when I turned WiFi off. I'm using 8sms app

Can you try sending SMS with the stock messaging app and let us know if it works?

Just tried. Stock messaging app force closes when you click on the conversation. 8sms still works for both sms and mms though
