I looked around to see if this was posted anywhere else on here but didn't see anything. I wanted to let everyone know that you are able to port Fifa 10 to the gTab using the following method.
Note: This method has only been tested by myself. I do not know how this will affect your device so proceed with caution.
You will need to have a device that can already run Fifa for this to work. (ex Samsung Fascinate)
Instructions in red are to be performed on your gTab. Instructions in lime green are to be performed on your second device.
1.) Install the Fifa apk on the gTab. You can either do this by downloading from the market, if it shows up, or by side-loading it. (If you try to open it it will try to download extra information and fail.)
2.) Install the Fifa apk on your second device.
3.) Once you have installed on your second device you will open the game. It will start by notifying you that it must download more files from the EA servers. Allow it to fully download and install the game.
4.) After it has been completely installed on the second device you will have all the files you need to play on your gTab. On your second device use Dropbox to upload all the files in /sdcard/data/data/com.eamobile.Fifa/files to your Dropbox account.
5.) On your gTab navigate to the /sdcard/data/data. From here you will need to create the folder " com.eamobile.Fifa ".
6.) Inside that folder create another folder titled " files "
7.) Install all of the files you upload to your dropbox into the newly created files folder on your gTab
You should now be able to open Fifa 10 on your gTab. Hope this can help the gTab loving soccer fans out there!
Thanks for the walkthrough.
Do you know if this solves the "white field" issue? I've installed it in the past but the grass is always white for some reason?
Too weird -- FIFA 10 worked for me right off the market...I bought it when the app was 99cents for a while...
No work needed at all to get it to run on the gtablet...
Ive gotten fifa to load and start a game but always fcs abt 10 seconds into the game and I see the white field patches. Memory is 300mb before game launch, data file downloaded properly, running vegan 5.1....any thoughts?
me too

Hello
I am having a problem with a game called Need For Speed Shift on my sony ericsion x1. I try to install on my phone, but for some weird reason i can not run the game. I seen that it works on my phone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbbqdTY-EUo
It says that it could not find s3e.icf, either embedded or as an external file.
what does that mean?
and also......
No executable to load. Place an execultable(.s3e) file in your data directory or use the ICF file setting (s3e) game executable=x
ok-continue
I have done some research on an .s3e file and it told me that I have to use the proper build for my device.
So....i am asking if anyone have the build that i need to play this game
It would be very great if someone could post a video on how to flash my x1.
I have tried to look at the post on roms, but i dont flash my phone and break it, so....i want to know if anyone could make a quick video on it for me.
Thank you

what rom are you using?
are you blocking ads?
the error you get suggests that you are blocking ads so if you are blocking ads then turn off whatever ad blocking you use. modaco's rom from fr1 to fr11 blocked ads by default so if you are using one of those roms I would suggest you either update your rom or delete the hosts file found in /etc doing that should enable you to play the game.
note: you will need root explorer or something similar to delete the hosts file
The game came preloaded on my o2x and I installed the data files with wifi. After leaunching it, the videoplays then the game exits.
Has anyone got it working?

if you are blocking ads which the error message suggests then you should be able to fix it by deleting the "hosts" file located in /etc, and yes it is completely safe to remove.
i have downloaded all 509 mb afte installing on my nexus s and the game crashes after intro!

as I said the "hosts" file not files is located in the /etc directory, to remove it you will have to use root explorer or something similar, of course this will only help if you actually are blocking ads, if not then there's probably something else making the game crash.
this IS gamelofts problem. I brought this from gameloft and had the same problem. So I contacted my credit crar company (barclay card) and stopped the payment (after contacting gameloft). Still haven't heard back from gameloft after 5 days. Other gameloft games are KNOWN to do this also. Just check out the gameloft forums, if you have enough time to wait for them to load.
can anyone please extract and upload the apk file
guys the game its ok now!so if you want it just send me pm and ill send you the new one!
Wassup guyz, ive juz installd d game n dwnloaded d 500mb file, d game exits aftr d intro, ive deleted d hosts file in /etc but stll d game exits aftr d intro video, any other suggestions??
Hi!
First, I would like to thank all the forum members. I managed to root my Galaxy Ace 2 easily and I learned how to use Directory Bind to play my games without any memory limitations!
But Modern Combat 4 can't be downloaded, and I don't know why. When I try to download the game from the Google Play Store, a 498 error notification appears. Apparently, the 498 error indicates that there isn't enough memory available on the phone. It seems that Google Play Store also downloads the .obb files (the big files) directly, not only the little .apk file. Where does Google Play download the .obb files? I know that the .apk file is downloaded in the /cache folder, but no clue about the .obb files. If I knew the obb download folder, I would be able to create a symlink, directing them to my SD Card (Class 10).
Thanks!

Can be one of these routes:
sdcard/Android/obb (I think this is the route)
sdcard/Android/data/
sdcard/gameloft/

Thank you for understanding!
Just updated to the long awaited 4.3 but after the update has completed I cant seem to find any of my pictures or music or movies or files on my phone. The space is still occupied but there are no where to be found. Anyone else have a similar issue or have any suggestion as to how I can get back my pics or stuff? All my apps are still installed but my files are no where to be found.
Any help would be appreciated.
