[Q] How to add Chinese language display in Galaxy note

I have recently purchase the Galaxy Note N7000 in the UK, but unfortunately the handset did not come in chinese display, what can I do to make my device to be able to display and type in chinese? Is it possible to flashing the ROM with the Hong Kong stock ROM ? Or any other alternative ways to do it ?
My device version
PDA: N7000XXKKA
PHONE:N7000XXKK5
CSC:N7000XEUKK3

if u want chinese in your menus then u need to flash a rom with chinese support.
However if you jusut want to write chinese you can just install a keyboard (ie. touchpal) from the market and you should be able to after downloading the chinese plugins.

Do u mean I can flash the ROM with the Hong Kong Official ROMS then I will be able to make all the menu and interfaces into chinese?

So I can flash the UK Rom to hk official Rom with no problem ?( as long as i follow the steps ?)
Is it I should use odin to do it?

you can also transport the chinese input apk and library files to any custom rom. just copy these files over from any stock Hong Kong

/system/lib/libhangulcore.so
/system/lib/libkeyboardcn.so

I think flashing the ROM witb PC Odin is much faster. If you want simplified Chinese flash the PRC ROM.
Of you like Traditional Chinese flash the HK ROM.
Let us confuse the carriers and Samsung!

The simplest thing I recommend the Go keyboard as I'm using the Go launcher. I don't speak or read Chinese, but wife kids and friends all are OK with Go...including using fingers to draw characters onsceen. I don't want to futz with APK's every time I do a new ROM...too invasive from my POV.

I'm not sure flashing any HK/Chinese rom would be wise as the official Chinese roms will be built for the Chinese version of the Note, the i9228, not the European/International i7000 Note that you own.
I've read about people soft bricking their i9228's by flashing an i7000 rom so I guess the other way round would do the same.
I think hocgwai's solution would be the safest.

flash back original rom if it doesn't work.
if it still doesn't work, send it back to Samsung dealer for servicing!!
no big deal! samsung servicing is not as crappy as HTC, i hope!

Hai, bro if you could explain more detail how to put these file inside custom rom such as Alliance Rom Galaxy Note 1. If you have 'Malay/Indonesia' language would better for me to solve my problem. I am hesitance to know more about this step. Thanks in advance.

i bought my galaxy note N7000 and update to jelly bean did not come to my country yet, so i updated it manually through firmware from Smmobile.com that came for devices in Hong-Kong , but it turned to be that the firmware does not have Arabic language , so when the update comes to my country LEBANON , what should i do to change the version to the one dedicated to my country? noting that i also have rooted my phone to increase clockwork in it , so help me guys, what should i do ?

The Stock Rom for Algeria or UAE has Arabic support (JPLSB). Install with PC Odin for unrooted stock Rom.
Or use my Pristine All Languages with working Arabic Support in v2.3.

i downloaded the UAE Rom, should i install it normally like the first time? my device is rooted, i havbe odin on my computer, will this affect my data or settings? i dont want to wipe my data.
And please what advantages comes with your pristine Rom.

recently I got a new phone and I don't have all languages. I've US, UK... etc. But I need Croatian. I've searched around the internet how to install it, but didn't find any working solution. Tried to download from Google Play, but it didn't work. Can someone help me?

I think that best solution is to flash Croatian firmware. Or any from Europe.

Do you have in any case link for latest official Croatian firmware? I was looking around for any firmware, but couldn't find.

Check at sammobile.com or samsung-updates.com. I am not 100% sure if there is JB for Cro. But you can use LQL - from Italy - if the phone is I9070. I use without any problem.
P.S. ONE IMPORTANT THING. Is your phone I9070 or I9070P? If it is I9070 you must flash I9070 firmware, and if it is I9070P you must flash I9070P firmware. If you use wrong one - phone will be hardbricked. Do not do anything before you become sure.

Hello, recently i get i9305 with instaled 4.4.4 (its my first samsung, had always xperia^^) Can u recommend me best rom for our smartphones? Rom must have polish language. Please help me havnt time to install all roms and check them.

AMCHA ROM KK is pretty stable or NamelessROM if you want lollipop.

Install international rom on tmobile

i would like to know if this possible to install a internation version rom for the note 4 t mobile.
I already did it but had issues with the baseband modem.
I want to do this because i want the system language in dutch but the stock rom and other costum roms dont have this language?
can someone help me with this?

It's possible as long as it's the Snapdragon Variant. The only problem you'll have is your wifi and mobile data might not work, you might have some FC and random reboots. Not worth the risk
