You need a factory cable to unbrick your device, You can order one from skorpn
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20380015#post20380015
or from ebay
When you acquire your cable you can use this tool to restore a fresh system image

I now need to order a factory cable (which you can me out with here: https://www.wepay.com/donations/1151307052 hahaha). In the meantime can someone provide the "right" Kindle Fire HD 7" images to flash once I get my factory cable? Thanks
Also my problem is tried to flash system.img (did not flash boot or recovery just system) and now it just loops. Kindle Fire over and over. If there is a way to get to fastboot before I order my cable let me know. It turns on but just says Kindle Fire in orange and never reachs the blue boot loader
Thanks for whatever help you can give me. Luckly I still have my trusty Linux Laptop which is still working.
This utility comes with them and flashes them for you but I don't think it was recoded in bash shell script, so use the files it has with it, and if you have an understanding of what do do already with the images great, if not I guess I can explain, though if you know how to read batch then the commands are either the same or near similar for the fast boot commands that are used in the script. Who knows maybe this comes with a shell script... If not I might code one in the future if I have time. I haven't had the luxury of bricking my kindle yet so I haven't had a need to download this.

PM me. I will give you a factory cable.
I tried to flash twrp and install second bootloader. I followed all directions to the point but didnt realize it was a newer os than 7.2.3 So it rebooted into recovery as TWRP then i tired to reboot back to system and it got stuck at kindle fire boot. It keeps repeating and eventually shuts off. How would I fix the bootloader. Ive tried KFFirstAide with a regular micro usb cord. But it doesnt get recongized on the computer. Should I buy a factory cable and proceed? Or do I have all needed supplies. Also when i get the kindle up and running how would I go about installing the 2nd bootloader + TWRP? I was thinking of downgrading then flashing but I'm not sure how. Thanks in advance!

You are seeing the blue logo still right? Just turn it on and immediately start holding volume up, just keep holding it till you see twrp logo, from inside twrp you can push a rom to flash over adb using a tutorial i made, its in the 7" general section towards the top atm.

If your kindle fire logo never turns blue you arent getting into twrp. You will have to use a fastboot cable to fix it with kffa or srt.

Is there any way to fix the boot loader without a fastboot cable? Also what is srt I haven't heard back of it. I have kffa installed. So that is always an option. If there is no other way I will be buying a fast boot cable

you have to have a fastboot cable to get it into fastboot mode, not the case on the 8.9" models, but on the others it is, sorry. srt is Kindle Fire Sytem Restore Tool, does the same thing as kffa except the images come with it which is useful when the mirrors for the files that kffa use take the file down.
Hi,
my daughter kindle does not work anymore, yesterday after hard shutdown...
it like 2 week, this kindle act odd. but now, nothing is working. all i did last December was rooting, it work fine.
right now, all it does is stuck in the kindle fire logo, it moving and the lit is on...
I try volume up and turn on, nope.
I try to connect to pc, ADB not recognized.
I do not have an factory cable, do i need a factory to resolve the problem?
I dont think i have a ROM problem. but i dont touch it...
if the problem come from ROM, how/where can I choose the good one
If there is no solution, do Amazon accept rooting tablet

I try a fastboot cable/adapter to see if you can restore the os. I recommend the blackhat adapters mentioned in hashcode's 2nd bootloader + twrp tutorial in the development section.

I read in some topic that if the kindle fire logo stay lid indefinitely i'm in fastboot... But i try "fastboot -i 0x1949 getvar product", it show only waiting device, i try to turn off and on, nothing happen.
is that mean, i need a Factory Cable to make it work again??
I don't know where you read that but it is wrong, if it stays on the orange logo it means you are in a bootloop. When in fastboot it will come up on the screen and say "fastboot" in a logo form. You have to have a fastboot cable to get it into fastboot mode when it is stuck in a bootloop that has the orange logo only.

oh, ok.
It show only " kindle fire " and than animation "kindle fire"
that mean, only way to fix this is with a fastboot cable, factoy cable?
is it like 99% luck to fix it?
i guess i will buy a cable and try to fix it. it still in warranty but it rooted... so no go
it should be completely fixable, no luck involved, just a fastboot adapter, my drivers and the kffa utility and it should be able to restore just fine.

Rooted won't matter if it's in a bootloop. They only check for external damage and send it back to the factory. If it don't boot into the OS then tell them that and you should get a refurbished one.
Exit: What I mean is that a bootloop prevents them from seeing why this happened. Could happen from many things. Otherwise use Stunts suggestion.

Hi everyone so i was installing cm11 on my kfhd 7 some days ago and the installation failed. I was not able to use twrp to put the new cm files into my sdcard so i decided to flash my backups with fastboot, while on the process the cable disconnected from the kfhd and it turned of. After it turned off i tried to get to fastboot again. Now it is stuck at orange kindlefire logo and i cant get to twrp or fastboot it just stays there . Anyone knows what can i do? Thank you
If stuck on a yellow/orange kindle logo you will need a fastboot cable/adapter to fix. I recommend the team blackhat one hashcode mentions in his tut for 2nd bootloader.

Ok thank you i'll buy it
Hello everyone! So about a month ago I bought my friend's old Kindle Fire HD. It worked perfectly fine. I decided to root it and install TWRP. Everything was working, until I turned off the kindle and turned it back on. It wouldn't go into TWRP recovery anymore, and was stuck in a bootloop. I ordered a fastboot cable, and it came yesterday. I tried to wipe it and reinstall stock Amazon software, and now it just goes to the system recovery screen with the red triangle and 2 options:
Either turn off your Kindle and turn it back on,
or factory reset it
I've tried both and nothing happens. I've tried using Kindle First Aide, but it doesn't download the boot, recovery, or system images. Please help me! I can provide any more information needed. Thank you!

Yes, I can get the device to boot into fastboot. Also, I know it's being recognised because when I do the fastboot command to check if device is connected, the Kindle shows up.
You should never revert to stock unless you want to keep it stock. I would have reflashed twrp initially. I'm not familiar with kf 1st aid.
