Hey guys,
On my Earpiece was dust and I tryed to clean it with a Visitcard. After I cleaned the Earpiece I saw that I scratched the Earpiece..
So my question is do you think that this may can damage the "waterproofness" of the phone? Should I try it?
The Sound works perfectly

HI,
My earpiece protector (against water) is broken.
Does someone know where I can find this stuff ?
I do not know what to search on ebay/google.
Maybe I can use something else to replace it. Any ideas ?
I ever replace my earpiece so I know how to open the defy and it seems to be easy to replace the earpiece protector.
Edit: [SOLVED] I found keys words to put on google: "MB525 Earphone Socket Cover" (http://www.globaldirectparts.com/Motorola-Defy-Repair-Replacement-Parts-s/6541.htm)

Everytime I put my xperia v in water, water leaks into the microphone and it doesn't work properly after that! I made sure I clipped the back cover and the openings to the USB and Headphone jacks properly!

Same here. Mine had more issues. There was some droplets forming inside the camera and then there was a white smudge in the LCD as well. I think there was some kind of a leak in mine. But those aren't there anymore, but the mic issue still prevails.
How long did you guys leave it be?

It is normal that speaker's sound will be reduced after submerging or if water gets in the speaker... After 2/3 hours, it gets fixed automatically... Z is fully waterproof... I've tested it a lot of times...
Sent from my Xperia Z.....
Hello. I cleaned my one's speakers with toothbrush. Unfortunately one day after it top speaker start to crackling very hard... :crying: Can you tell me is there a chance to fix it? I don't know if i can sent it on warranty because i wiped plastic edges from phone with sandpaper- what do you think about it? Any ideas? Btw. sorry for my bad English.
P.S.
I cleaned it because sound was very low...
Can i set stereo to mono speakers by hmmm poweramp?
Hello,
so my ear speaker stopped working for some reason. I am going to change it, but i was thinking. I have Xperia Z C6603 at home, not working (water damaged, huh...), do you know, if it is the same component? So i can just switch the one from C6603 to C6903? If it is this simple, it would be just awesome. I don't feel like opening the Z1 again before i am sure i have the part (i put some really good glue there last time )...
Thanks for help
To anyone interested, it is a little bit different part, but it works like charm
