This one works
http://code.google.com/p/androidscreencast/
Download the androidscreencast.jnlp and run
javaws androidscreencast.jnlp
from a terminal on your pc.
You need to have adb installed.

This is some kind of adb hackary over usb. I think the TS wants to use the Xperia Screen Mirroring function. This uses Miracast (Intel WiDi 3.5). As far as I know there aren't any released Miracast Receiver applications. Searching for Miracast will help you understand what is needed for wireless screen mirroring. If a device/program supports miracast you can most likely use it with the Xperia Z.

Yea, G-REMOTE its awesome, and yes 100% possible with the app. Its a program that installs on the pc and ppc and runs trough your WIFI router and has numerous control capabilities.

Cool thanks... so all I need is to install G-Remote and then add the game on my PC?
Actually it's working for me too. It emulates a jostick so you can use it with any other game as well
A little hint: unfortuntatelly it's working for me only (i'm working on BT) through WIFI connection to the host, so i suggest you to try it with WIFI first
There's no game on PC (with the dload), the youtube video seems to be something the youtuber has on his/her PC.
This app just provides control functions for the PC.
any clues where to find the game(s), i will continue to search and update when i find something, this looks cool
Does anybody know of a good remote mouse/keyboard app for Android? I'm looking for something where I can use my phone as a trackpad/keyboard to control my PC or Mac. If anybody knows anything please let me know! Thanks!!
are you planning to be tethered to the pc ? (ie: connected thru usb port?) or are you trying to basically run a remote-desktop thru wifi a/o cell-system ?
honestly, i have no answer for you... but i must admit this is one of the more interesting questions ive seen... on the first-hand, the hero is way-too-powerful to just be using it as a mouse - altho i guess it could be used that way... otoh, i do not think that the hero would make an effective remote-desktop because it would be under-powered...
ah well, just curious... hope you find something that does whatever it is you want to do... if you are a comman-line-guy, i imagine you could remote-shell (using whatever putty-equivalent-terminals are available) into your pc...
gl, h.
GMote look for it in the market. works great over wifi. it is not marketed as a remote keyboard / mouse app. it is something like a video player. when it loads press menu and then touchpad.
I use TightVNC on desktop and androidVNC on phone, works well.

We are working on a similar product:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2359972
to make Pi to support iOS devices and Android devices using AirPlay Mirroring and Miracast.
This is not a port though, I think it should be better as chromecast won't support AirPlay mirroring.
A direct port should be possible too if chromecast source code is available, I would guess it has miracast emulation.
seems it's well possible to emulate Chromecast.
I spent a few days to emulate Chromecast inside rPlay, finally it can find the rPlay (on Raspberry Pi) as a chromecast device, and it can send youtube URL redirection. still long way to go, but seems possible.
Attached is a screenshot of Youtube on Nexus 7, the Chromecast button is shown, when clicked, it will show rPlay as the device.

Guess that's the best lead we could find thus far, as well as some assurance that this (https://github.com/dz0ny/leapcast) can also redirect Youtube links.
I think it will only be a matter of time until this is fully working like the chromecast
yes, the initial implementation is available in our rPlay software, beta version is available.
We will add more and more chromecasting features to it, in addition to airplay mirroring,

Also if possible please add option to stream/play local media files which official chromecast lacks.:good:
Is the Chromecast protocol open? If not, has anyone asked Google why not?
Very Cool. Hows the progress
This is very cool. How is it going? Does the Pi have sufficient performance?

Yatse and bubble UPNP already do this with XBMC on the Pi.
I can easily send YouTube videos to the pi using the share feature in Android and Yatse remote app. Similarly with local content.

I'd say the main thing holding my Pi back is silverlight drm. Otherwise I'd be perfectly happy with my xmbcrpi.
I have an old HP Thin Client here and it is virtually worthless (I have run a few distros on it from USB, but minimalist) and was thinking that it might make a great streaming device. (It isn't ARM unfortunately, it is an x86 AMD proc...)
Is there any Chromecast derivatives (or even distros) that would allow for this to be used like a Chromecast?

Can it run desktop Chrome browser? If so, you could use CR Cast extension or LeapCast to make it function like a Chromecast. See FAQ Part 1, 1.e
Note that both of those may need updates to support new apps built on the just-released SDK. Not sure.
Maybe bluestack for Windows and cheap cast.
I'm looking for a remote to use with my mini..
A Bluetooth keyboard is a little unwieldy. Looking for a a handheld remote (preferably) or an app to run on my phone or tablet. Any ideas?
