Hi,
in next days you will see here a new rom for GS2.
It is based on AOSP, AOKP, CM9 and and other sources + some personnal developpement.
The result is a really usefull and efficient rom that you can use either if you are a developper of an all day base user.
You will find a lot a feature. The rom is fully configurable.
Interested ??

Hell I've been trying also, but I keep having issues when compiling. I need to start from scratch and reset up my build environment. I'm just starting out trying to learn, and its been a pretty slow process. I'll get it eventually lol.

Yes, it is. Only difference is that my build contains a display gamma tweaks in the kernel, which eliminates the black crush issue and gives the display more of a cool temperature. (My personal preferences, if you want a stock kernel, use the official nightlies.)
Question
I'm sorry but I'm kind of a rookie at all of this terminology but what is the difference between nightly and every other ROM? I've been wondering for quite a while but never got a clear answer
thanks for your time
Re: [JB] [4.2.1 Rom] CM 10.1 For T879
Nighties are just that, they are compiled from source every night. Well maybe not every night but very often. Other ROMs are not compiled from source every night or as often. Each night they are compiled the more bug fixes and such are incorporated as they are patched up. Someone may have a better explanation.

What do you mean by "As you know we can flash each others roms" ? i717 to T879 and vice versa?
hello,
I have a Galaxy Tab 8.9lte device that's just like the hardware section I717. Can you help that can be ported to this rom?
sorry for the english is not accurate due to
thank you
Atomanti74
This was built from AOKP source using vendor trees from TheMuppets found here:
https://github.com/TheMuppets
and device trees from TEAMBAKED - BIG thanks to them:
https://github.com/TeamBAKED
Thanks to BigRushDog for the hard work and the permission for me to use CDMATools. And also thanks for just being a cool person.
Here is AOKP website:
http://aokp.co/index.php/news
-Feel free to donate a few dollars if you have it to show your appreciation.
Here is the gerrit review:
http://gerrit.sudoservers.com/#/q/statuspen,n,z
My git: https://github.com/qnhoang81
This ROM is now using a CM kernel at moment and the source is here:
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_kernel_samsung_crespo
My goal is to go over to AOSP kernel once I have a little more time to work on it.
What works:
Everything as far as I can tell
What's broken?
Hmm...not too sure. You tell me.
Directions:
1) Download
2) Make a backup
3) Wipe cache/dalvik - factory reset for those coming from a different ROM
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash GApps
6) Reboot
7) Enjoy
Download:
http://goo.im/devs/qnhoang81/crespo
GAPPS:
http://tinyw.in/wV7n
This is the official package from goo.im that I edited so that it does not override AOKP camera **NOTEhotosphere is not available for now, so if you want it so badly that you would rather not have all of the other options, then just use the official Gapps from goo.im**
I will post a changelog when I upload a build. Not every nightly will have a changelog, but I will post them as much as possible.
Note: Please report errors and things not working. However, please test the problem without any modifications to the build first.
Also, if there is something you would like to see or you think is cool to have, I would love to test it and include it in the ROM. So by all means, request away, and I will try my best to add it. But please...no asking for ETAs
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN THIS DEVICE...By flashing this you take full responsibility for anything that may happen to the device, and I will not be held responsible if your phone steals your car and upgrade itself to a GALAXY NEXUS 4.
Have fun, and please post any problems found.
Downloading, will report back soon
Thanks for your efforts

Is there any way to request Paranoid Android for the Bionic? I love that rom and miss it from my Galaxy S Fascinate. I would greatly appreciate any insight on who I would talk to or ask if it possible? I know that our devs do a lot of work and do this in their spare time so if it isn't possible I understand. Thanks for any help or advice.
Well, there's Carbon and PACman for the Bionic if you want Paranoid Android features with CM and AOKP goodies packed in as well.

I'm looking for just straight PA goodness. I go back and forth between CM and PAC
I can make do with those but PAC usually gives me issues in tablet mode. I will give Carbon a try. Thanks for the advice. Still gonna try to see if I can get PA. If not oh well. At least I tried.

Hello dear P880 users,
The list linked in this post, is a list of all compiled roms for our LG Optimus 4X - AKA P880 and their respective maintainers.
This list only has roms which were compiled (original development).
----
The document has the following information:
Branch (4.3, 4.4, etc..)
Rom Name
Development Status
Release Version
Last Updated
Maintainer username
Base
And the URL to the XDA post.
-----
The suggestion of compiling such list came from laufersteppenwolf, so buckets of flowers and chocolate boxes should go to him
Suggestions and whatever are welcome. Enjoy

Hi there,
Thx to @MidnightDevil, this thread is a good idea.
As am not involved as a dev, only reader and user (noob and try to learn) of the provided roms, i just have a question concerning PAC-Man, Carbon and Illusion ROMs:
Fluoxetine dissapeared of XDA and all his threads are actually closed, is he still maintaining those ROMs, or MULTIROM for Kitkat?
Well, his threads now state he is no longer able to maintain the roms.
Latest Omni update is 03/08. Also, you could add FlymeOS to wishlist, that really is a great rom.

The most confusing thing I find is blobs and patches, for things like video recording, screen recording, MHL etc. How about a column to say what blobs and patches are used, and whether EPRJ RIL is implemented?

@MidnightDevil,
Just find out that our device is "officially" maintained by the PAC Man team, updates can now be found in the download tab from:
http://www.pac-rom.com/#Home
I've checked on team carbon website (https://carbon-rom.com/) but unfortunately our device is not supported.
I also noticed that u can update beanstalk as the last built is was issued the 8th of March in 3 versions:
- CM based ROM
- P880-dev (grouper blobs)
- P880-dev (old blobs)
Hope that will help U to update your file
I'll update it during today.
Cheers
