Does Xperia T install large app automatically on 10.8 gb Internal Memory ? or we must transfer the installed app ? I noticed there is only 2 gb memory to install app which seems to be insufficient. Hence, I was hoping to if there is a way to increase the memory to install app ??
You can partly move the app to your intern mem. But the Instal file will need to stay on that 2gb of app mem.

when you install for example 2GB game for example 30MB goes to the 2GB partition(depends on application) and the rest to internal 10,8GB partition ..you dont need to worry about space
Thank You both :good:

Ive seen a post somewhere in which the internal memory for x8 is 920Mb..!
How to make it work??
Right now using stock 2.1 to play "biohazard 4"
that not possible...;-) buy higher sd and put apk to sd
Its possible..you use your sdcard for your intetnal.memory..

u can increase your internal memory
but not to 920Mb
use Odex to increase it about 20Mb and for fast boot, apps
i think u should use odex, but u will not get up to 920mb, i got 202mb in stock rom
try use sd-ext..
it makes ur (partition) sd card as extended of ur internal memory..
maybe u can create 1gb partition..
but,,AFAIK,,not all the apps data can be saved in sd..
so itll be useless if u run out internal memory..
i have created 512 ext partition..
but its remain ± 300 mb when internal memory reach 20mb..
so,,its useless..
i waste that 300mb 4 nothing
now i use 256 ext part..
#sadly,,now i dont know how to use that ext in pauls cm9
so we all know we have 11gb about or so free for internal storage on JB .. and your external storage is however big your sdcard is (mine is 64gb) well with all these new games that are coming out with .obb files that are HUGE 600+ MB or more .. is there anyway to make the external storage actually internal storage so that when you click move to SD it really moves to your SD card and not internal storage.. i know there are some apps in the appstore that might do this.. but the real question is do they work for Jellybean. because the mounts are different now.

This one worked for me on JB leak. I was able to move the data of NFSMW & Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour to ext sd & play :good:
I m using directory bind. Move your data to ext sd and bind in internal sd.

Unmount the sd card and try again
Or
You may not have space in the system partition. Use TB to check the space available and remove some bloatwares to make space.

App2SD can do that but it is not always possible or recommendable.
For data files i think and depends on the app (i.e. i can set Open Street Map to store all downloaded maps on external sd card)
Best apps to use are link 2sd and folder mount these both need root.
Because of the way the internal memory is mounted as SD card no app2sd will work as they see internal as sdcard.
Link 2sd you set a partition by connecting card to PC without phone use any free windows partition tool set size and make sure it is set as primary, use fat32
Then when you restart phone with ext sdcard inserted link 2sd will ask that a new partition has been detected and how to mount select fat32 then from in app select which files are in the internal memory and select to make link. they are then moved to ext sdcard and free up space.
When you download games they are harder to move data as they look to particular folder only. Folder mount links these files so you can move to ext card and games still works.
Both are free on the play store.

so i need to download link2sd and folder mount? is there any workaround without using these two apps?
Don't know but you won't get any apps to ext sdcard or data without using these or similar.
They load at boot and are active, just click app, game and it will run smoothly.

I guess no... you can't do without root bro..
Wait till root is available for your c5303:highfive: & Then you can move it.
Or you can flash 284 firmware & root it, if you need it urgent.
tanx,im waiting for v16 to root my devise, but can i root then move the app then unroot my devise?cuz i root my galexy note 2 and my battery was drain too fast

Not really as the apps need root to work and every time you boot up you will lose function of apps if you unroot.

Rooting doesn't cause battery drain.

Use a tool called foldermount to move game data/obb files to ext SD card there is a thread in development for it and how to guide.

thanks for your reply but i have used link2sd card and folder mount to move files to sdcard but after saving alot of space its still showing insufficient space
Try clearing cache and dalvic cache with link2sd
