Please please please help

Hello all, I was running Rocketrom v10 on my Note with notecore v13 kernel. Everything was going great, but decided to Gove phone to my wife (got myself an s3), so I went into the phone menu and chose factory reset. It seemed to work, but now it won't boot, the galaxy note screen loads, then it just gels blank. I couldn't get into recovery, but I could get into downloader, so I successfully flashed a pre rooted GB Rom in Odin, everything worked, Odin reported it passed, and the phone rebooted, but again it goes to the galaxy note screen, then just goes blank. I'm at a total loss, still can't get into recovery ( in saying that with the new GB Rom I'm not sure that recovery is installed-I followed the guide in the forum) I'm at the stage where I am pulling my hair out. If I could get to recovery I know I could wipe everything, but I can't been do that. Any help would be massively appreciated

You had been on Notecore kernel and now have flashed GB rom successfully. That mean you are not having any dangerous kernel for now.
Should go into recovery, wipe cache and data then reboot system.
If it still not working well then try to flash another GB rom (should be able to download from Dr.Ketan's thread. cheers.
Cheers for the reply, but I can't boot into recovery, doing thenwhole volume up plus home button plus power, no joy. Getting balder by the minute

Glad you got out of it. Normally, unless experiencing superbrick which is quite rare, any symptoms like this are redeemable.

That's just because now you have s3's framework on your note.Restore nandroid backup if you have.Or just flash the current you have without wipe.It will surely boot after doing anyone of the above. And you are not bricked at all....

I have wiped with the Hydracore kernel to avoid emmc bug. Should I flash the new 4.0.4 XXLRQ via PC Odin. Presently I am travelling so I don't have access to computers, It would take time. Is there any other non computer way?

If you have cwm backup of the rom in your phone, then restore it.Or else if you have the zip of the current rom what you are running in your SD,flash that with cwm without wiping.

No. Since your phone is not working you can't use MobileOdin for the same purpose and can't use CWM because you don't have the ROM zip file on your phone I think.. OR Do you have ?. You have to wait or ask Airhostess (If you are travelling via AIR) to get Laptop for you lol
restore from nandroid backup.... seems to be the only way widout pc

Chrack´s JB 4.1.1 XXLS2 DBT Rom Flash issue

Hello
I'm very keen to install and try this ROM, but I'm having a strange issue. I flash Phil's kernel first, reboot recovery, wipe and install which all goes fine. When aroma install is complete and phone reboots I get the white Samsung screen for 30 seconds or so then phone seems to reboot itself, screen goes black briefly then Samsung logo reappears for a second and I get dumped back into Phil's CWM recovery.
I have checked MD5 of ROM download, no problem there. I've tried different versions of the install from aroma (lite version etc). Not really sure what I'm doing wrong. No one else in his thread has reported problems like mine. Anyone with ideas?

try with hydracore kernel
Well turns out the md5 didn't match up. I had checked it after downloading and all was good, but something must have gone wrong on copying it over to my SD card. My fault. Up and running now though and it's a great ROM!

Possible brick or not?

Hello,
got a N7000 that is am trying to root and flash other rom.
Did a kernel with the speedmod kernal trough Odin. Now i am trying to format /data and it is taking about 10min now.
Is this normal? I cannot return in the device itself because it keeps hanging on the Samsung Logo with the yellow triangle.
Please advise what to do to possible fix it. Tried installing CM10 and CM9 bit it takes forever to install.
Regards
