[Q] Headset Adapter for HTC One - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hey guys.
I need an adapter with an integrated mic and if possible playback controls for the htc one.
I don't need a complete headset, because I have my AKG K271 Mk II.
Any suggestions?
cheers

AD2P + Radio = HOW TO??

Hi guys.
I have a bluetooth stereo headset for my dimond, and I want to listen radio in the wireless headset.
I connect the original headset from HTC (antena) and I want to listen the radio wireless but I cant. The sound comes through to the orignial HTC headset and not to bluetooth AD2P.
Is there a registry hack to make this possible?

WIRED 2.5 Headset with Mute -> Tilt??

Is it possible to use my Plantronics M175C WIRED 2.5 headset with mute switch with my Tilt? If not what is the best WIRED headset option?
I understand that I'll need some sort of adapter/dongle. What is the BEST product?
I'll need something that also allows me to charge the Tilt when using the wired headset.
I've tried using the HTC Multifunction Audio Adapter for AT&T Tilt:
http://www.tiltdepot.com/htc-multifunction-audio-adapter/11A75A4401.htm
This adapter doesn't seem to work for me. The Tilt mic doesn't turn off! Meaning that the Tilt mic is picking up my voice/sounds regardless of the mute switch on the wired headset. I've tried to work with htc (makers of this adapter) but they aren't helpful and won't tell me what headset works with their adapter or even if it's possible for the Tilt's mic to turn off while using a wired headset.
Finally, please do not recommend a bluetooth headset - I have a Jawbone and love it. It doesn't solve my need to be on the phone for hours a day. I can't have the Jawbone run out of power while on a 3 hour call.
Thanks for your time and ideas.

[Q] Can i connect my mini jack hands free to mini usb?

Greeting to the community,
Is there a way to connect my pair of mini jack hands free to the mini usb port of my htc topaz and receive/make calls?
i've seen some adaptors through the web but my question remains:
would microphone and head phones both function OR is it just audio output, meaning that i would be able to hear a call and the caller's voice but he wouldn't be able to hear me back?
Akis.
I've checked HTC webpage and the accessory called 'Multifunction Audio Cable YC A300' seems to be matching your criteria. Here's what I found:
Technical Details
* HTC ExtUSB standard headset connector
* Mini USB power connector
* 3.5mm audio connector (with in-line mic support)
* 2.5mm audio connector (with in-line mic support)
* Power status light
This would mean that you can connect mini jack hands free. Alternatively you can use 'HTC Touch Diamond2 Audio Adaptor for ExtUSB to 3.5mm (without Stereo Headset and HTC Logo,AC A110)' This adaptor, however, has a built-in microphone, so you just need to connect standard headphones.
Hope this helped.
thank you so much.
this seems to be what i have been after.
i just ordered it off ebay for 3$ plus 2$ for shipping.
i hope that will work.
i will update the thread when i get my hands on it.
thanks again.

[Q] 3.5mm audio output while using AVRCP Control

Hi people,
Does anyone know if there is an app/hack I can use so that when I pair up my Jabra BT3030 Dog tag unit to my i9000, audio is still sent through the 3.5mm stereo jack instead of via Bluetooth audio?
The reason being is that the audio quality loss does my head in when I'm playing music off my phone via bluetooth in my car. I would prefer to control the tracks with AVRCP on remote while audio is still outputted through 3.5mm.
Any help would be appreciated. Cheers
Hey, I spent a while to get this to work on my I9000 but then I found it works by default like this on the Galaxy SIII so that may give you something to investigate.
I had the idea to Disable the Sink service in the audio.conf file but as it works for me now I haven't investigated it.
