Which ROM should I reflash with?

Hey, hows it going?
I'm pretty new to the whole wizard scene and am trying to get as much info as I can. I'm in the Netherlands and am about to buy an MDA Vario but they come with the Dutch ROM and I need the english version.
So my plan is to get it unlocked and then reflash the ROM. So my question is:
Which ROM would be the best to reflash my Vario with?;
1) K-JAM_WWE_1010903_106_10110_ship.exe
or
2) Qtek_9100_RUU_Prodigy_10107105_Qtek_WWE_ship.exe
I really just want the excess unneeded junk off the thing, like antivirus (and I plan on installing the extended ROM unlocker) and have it run as fast as possible. I'd like to keep skype etc, but I'm sure I can install that afterward. I also heard the Qtek ROM has some bluetooth issues? And I think I read that the K-Jam ROM is like 5 days older than that Qtek, not sure if there is a difference though. Which one would you recommend? I'll be using it with a T-Mobile SIM in The Netherlands. Thanks for any suggestions

MDA Vario (T-Mobile NL)

Hi all,
I will be buying my MDA Vario today.
It will have a T-Mobile NL rom on it.
What steps do I need to take to flash the rom?
(I'm not a n00b, I've had a o2 XDA II and still own a Magician but I do need a little help with the new phone )
I already found the network unlocker (lokiwiz) here and I will use it right away.
But what steps after that?

Was pretty simple after a good read

i'm Luke from Italy. I have a vodafone p1615 with wm6 rom 1.56.165. Exist upgrade for p1615 a no-brand? Exist tomtom 6 for p1615? Exist blackberry connect?
Is possible upgrade from Vodafone p1615 rom 1.56.165 to Rom NO-BRAND, Without software vodafone?

why shouldn't all your question not be possible?
it's only a branded rom not a different OS.
TomTom6 works fine on my german p1615 and allother wm6 software should do too.
also you can put on another rom, i did not, cause there is no newer german rom, and i preferred to use my phone in my native language, but perhaps an italian roms is released ?! try to search the board here

I'm going to receive the p1615, branded by vodafone like your phone. I'd like to use it with my italian sim, how did you manage to unlock it? is it possible to flash it and unlock it? I've already read tons of posts but I can't get the differences between the sim lock and the country lock, I mean, does vodafone uses a simlock on this device?

no vodafon do not uses simlock, i got my p1615 from a contract of a friends company and put in my call-ya sim. it works without any problems.
perhaps there is a netlock, but i don't think so, cause vodafon is very open instead of t-mobile (putting sim and netlock)

All ok. I upgrade the vodafone p1615 to new so wm6 and splashscreen no vodafone With sfotware includes: remote desktop, vpn, tomtom 6.030 and BBConnect for BES server email..

I can't use Gsm internet some time because of my mobile is At&t branded and i use the mobile in different operator,it is htc til2,sometime i can use internet by opera or other browser but not all time.now what can i do for using internet all time.i think the problem is using at&t branded cell in different operator,some application are not working now what can i do? i dont know how to debrand or unlock please help me.sorry for my bad english

seems like you may have activated the proxy manager from ATT you need to disable or look for a custom rom designed for AT&T (i had bad experience with euro roms using my tilt 2) also try to use the latest radio or the ones from the AT&T stock roms

Hey,
I've got a o2 branded HD7 (original latest mango rom) which is developer unlocked using apphub.
Was just wondering if there was a way to unbrand it?

delete the O2 Apps, flash a Europe (aka Unbranded) Shipped ROM, or flash a Custom ROM.
for the last two... link to a tutorial in my signature, if needed.

My HD7 was like yours but ended up flashing the NewTech ROM,
there are too many restrictions and not enough features to a stock phone.
