This version worked on my Nova (never tried on the stock ROM).
"Use Preview Surface" Should Be Checked for the front cam.

[Q] Call recorder for x2

Hi there,
I'm looking for an app that would record both sides in calls (there are plenty of then recording only the outgoing side)
I used rVoix with my old HTC Hero and am looking for something similar. I know rVoix used a special feature in Hero hardware and driver but I still hope there is something useful in the x2.

I finally tried allCallRecorder, which someone had recommended in another forum. The thing is that the 3gp file it created with a call is impossible to play (both by the phone or PC)

switched to Record My Call and everything is fine now. Records both compressed and uncompressed sound, both sides of the line.

MIUI has a built in Recorder. Try it out ; )

[Q] [Help] Inverted picture on all aftermarket camera apps

Hello guys
I tried many aftermarket cameras from google play (such as Camera360, HDR Camera, Pro HDR Camera...), but on all was inverted picture (90 degrees to left)... Final pictures which I took were normal (not inverted).
In stock camera is all OK. Have anyone same problem? How to fix it?
I have stock rom, unrooted.
Sorry if I make duplicate thread, but I do not find anything about that

Are application settings. There is nothing to do, just wait update the desired application.
Use Lgcamera, works perfectly.

[APP] PixelMaster app for AOSP like builds (fully functionnal exept video recording)

Hello,
I'm glad to share with you the second version of my mod, the app now supports all modes, including manual mode, and slow motion mode.
Only video recording is not working, it has a problem with audio recording which stops the camera, sorry but I can't continue the investigation as I will change the smartphone tomorrow, now I have to flash stock rom.
If someone want to continue the developpement, please PM me and I will show him the files that I modified.

The video rec is not working on unmodified PixelMaster app, I tried to solve it but I couldn't, there is a problem with audio recording.

Works well on the Resuurection Remix, but does not save photos on a memory card, do not even have this choice in the settings. Only on the internal memory

Keep up the good work bro, i really like pixel cam from the stock asus. But it's really hard to find good pixel master camera for custom rom.

@hichaam Super resolution work but just take picture same like auto mode. No increase. Manual mode cant use to focus. Please fix it

Sidenote: You can select slowmo mode, but it doesn't actuall record in slow motion.

what are the differences between V1 and V2?

Manual Mode not working is because Android Lollipop Camera2 API isn't implemented properly. Can't be solved by modifying this apk. Only can be solved when your rom implement the api

Hello, I've now tied several call recorders from the app store. But they all just record my side of the conversation. Not the other side.
Anyone know of an app that actually recorded both sides?

Ok, this app is also not recording the other side of the phone call. Must be some setting in my phone, as I've tried several apps already. Anyone have a tip for me?

I use Cube ACR in the settings menu, then recording and choose audio source recorded Voice Call software.
You will have very good recordings in both directions, and with possibility to save on his SD card.

This funtion depend of the market or CSC, no in all Note 8 is active.

Which markets and phones have the functionality? I have a European note 8 duo.

The free version of 'ACR' has worked fine for me on a number of devices and works on my 'stock' Note 8 with the following settings.

i use boaldbest recorder its great!

I use the built-in Samsung call recorder. You can activate it only if you are rooted though(unless you are with China SCS, then it would work OOTB ), but there won't be a better recorder. It records everything, it has its place in the calling screen, it is integrated with the dialer history..... I hate the recorders which slap an ugly button somewhere on the calling screen. :X :X :X

truecaller allows unlimited calls recording now, needs paid version!

I found it thru a developer on here.
One of the few apps I have found worth the money so I bought the license.

I will answer this question based on my 8 year experience with these apps and how much I bought.
For the Note 8:
Boldbeast call recorder is the Best in my opinion. it has various settings and even works on bluetooth headset both way recording where others fail. Add to that that it has regular updates.
In the second place comes Total Recall By Killer Mobile.
In the Third Place comes Call Recorder by Skvalex.
