Just wondering if anyone knows if the note and note lte will be the same. As in the rooting process will the same as too the roms... I'm hopefully getting the note lte and will want it rooted as soon as I get it and if you have any leads on it by all means post it or links I had no idea where to even post this since there wasn't an lte forum Haha again sorry.

Read the sticky at the top of this forum. The LTE note and international are not the same and aside from maybe accessories, nothing will be compatible.
Sorry I'm on the xda app and it shows up differently so I didn't see the sticky my apology... and thanks for the response that sucks kinda Haha oh well maybe I shall turn into a dev as well Haha thanks again

As everyone knows that Droid 3 is a global phone but i still have a question
If i go to another country and im not going to use Verizon anymore. Im gonna change my network using Gsm in my country. do i have to buy unlock code ? Do i have to do anything with that or i can just go back and insert different sim card and it works ?

There are numerous threads on this already. Please do a little looking around rather then starting yet another thread on a topic that has been discussed to death in this forum

This is probably because at&t's ticker symbol is "T" so when you ask for "t" mobile stock price it gives you ticker symbol "t". But the search should be smart enough to know you want t-mobile, not "t" mobile.
T mobile is not publicly traded. They are a subsidiary of Deutch Telecom. A European corporation.
They may be publicly traded, but I'm not sure if its on an American exchange.

Hi, I bought an unlocked T-Mobile Samsung Note 3 and use it on the Telus network. Traditionally, Canadian users follow the AT&T forums because the phones are compatible with AT&T. In my situation, I have a T-Mobile phone on Telus. Can anyone tell me which forum I belong to for custom roms, AT&T or T-Mobile?
You belong in T mobile

Well I had seen someone asking about this and I gave it a try.
I updated from MF9 to MJA 4.3.
Inserted a non-sprint sim card (telcel from Mexico) and I was given the option to change or add apn.
I've been trying to attach the screen shot s but the app won't let me.?

Ok there. That was my first post ever.
So does this mean it's already unlocked?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Have you tried a T-Mobile or ATT sim in it?
No. I'll try to get a hold of one later on when I get out of work and try it.

I just tried a t-mobile sim and it still let's you add new apn. However the "NETWORK OPERATOR" option stays greyed out. I don't get the "invalid sim card" error like before.

Try changing it from cdma/lte to gsm and see if it allows you to use T-Mobile service. I would do it but I don't know anyone that has T-Mobile.

Can't try it until wednesday, my cousin is the only one I know who has t-mobile and he's gone for the week.

I can confirm mja let's you modify apn's, and now is even easier for us to install roma from other carriers, I'm running latest omega and I didn't even have to install stock kernel, just flash omega and modify apn's and i got 4g

No you must first install APN shortcut from the play store, use it to modify your apns ,
I almost never need to change my network mode! But just in case you do, go to your mobile networks or to your dialer and * #*#4636#*#* and then click on phone information,I hope it works for you man, please let me know if it works thanks
And just one more thing, after you modify your apns you might need to wait for a few minutes before you get 4g, it happened me

When you say 4G what do you mean? Hspa+? I don't think that this phone even has the capability of band 4 lte. I wrote a guide on domestic sim unlock that is reliable and any input you have on it would be great. Check my profile for the link.
