Brick my phone? - RAZR i Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, I have this terrible problem with my phone, I just flash Omar's rom and the phone is bricked.
It doesn't turn on, but you can press the power button and the phone starts, but it doesn't pass the unlocked motorola logo.
If you press power+vol down the phone goes to recovery, but it's imposible to turn on.
I try to use fastboot from the homemade fastboot thread, but don't do anything.
Anyone can helpme?

Flash an JB Fastboot with RSD Lite 6.1.4
You'll find an list of all available JB Fastboot Files, when you follow the Link in my Signature. Also you'll find RSD and the necessary drivers.

BTW: Next time backup your current Rom before you start flashing anything

Thank you so so much, my phone is working again, you are the best!

No fastboot after flashing

(Hello! This is my first time posting in xda.)
Recently I got a razr i and I love that except that I can't use OTA to update to JB.
I decided to use RSD to flash a JB rom and everything seems fine.
But I discovered that I can't use the vol down + power button to get into fastboot mode anymore.
The phone will just skip the fastboot and boot normally.
I tried other button combinations but none of them works.
I can enter fastboot mode only using [adb reboot recovery] with USB debug mode on.
I wonder if anyone encountered this problem and is there any solution?
Thank you very much!

[Q] [KFHD] Bootloader always boots recovery (because bootmode) - How can i get out?

Hello all,
i've got a big problem:
<long story..>
I tried to get my KFHD in Fastbootmode with "idme bootmode 4002" but won't worked after reboot.
In another forum, they said »use "idme bootmode 5000"« (now i know: no good idea).
Now i know that bootmode 5000 is recovery.
If i power on the kindle:
1) "kindle fire" (yellow white) logo appers
2) "fastboot kindle fire" logo appers for ~2-3 seconds
3) blackscreen for ever...
How can i get out?
Factory cable won't work
I don't find the usb-boot points.
Can i get out with usb-boot? If yes, can anyone show me where they are?
All hardware is orginal, i haven't modified anything, but i already opened the back cover.
Please help!
Sorry for my bad english, hope its good enough for XDA.
And i hope i've posted in the correct section, and it's a question..

Did you try to do what soupmagnet suggested by entering the command on the pc, the rebooting the kindle then plugging it in (in hopes to issue the command during the couple of seconds before.it leaves fastboot)

From my experience Linux is always faster than windows. Especially when dealing with a device being plugged in, it will recognize and load up its module way faster them windows ever does for me. Also, that error may be related to you using a USB 3.0 port, don't use 3.0, use a 2.0 port.

No distros (if any at all) will not log you in automatically as the root user by default. It is a huge security risk, and logging in as the root user should be avoided whenever possible. There are commands like 'sudo' and 'su' which can give a normal user elevated privileges when needed.
Yes yes, i know. Im not a linux noob... But you can disable password question in sudo with visudo.... But not more here in this thread
Btw i use Mint, any tips with fastboot or the error spamming?

Does fastboot detect your device? If so, copy a recovery to the folder where your fastboot executable is. Open a command prompt in that folder. Boot device to fastboot mode. In command window type "fastboot boot recovery.img", without the quotes and where 'recovery.img' is the file name of the recovery you want to use.
This will boot your device to the specified recovery without needing button combos.

Don't put phone in fastboot before flashtool asks you to do so. Else, the phone waits for a connection, doesn't find one and turns off.

I've tried to lock bootloader and now I can't do anything.

Well, first of all, sorry for my bad english, I'll try to explain what is happening right now.
I had TWRP installed and latest version of Oxygen OS. Phone was going slowly lately so I thinked that locking bootloader and wiping all my data could optimize my phone. Ok.
Did one of the few things I know how to do, adb devices, adb reboot bootloader, fastboot oem lock and everything OK. When I rebooted, I rebooted into recovery mode, and recovery mode wouldn't work.
I don't know why... So I proceed to boot as usual and do as nothing happened... Then something strange happened. To decrypt data and boot Android, I was requiring an alpha-numerical password when I NEVER had
one of these in my OP3T... So... I tried to do something, but I can't do anything. I don't have recovery, I can't go in bootloader mode, I can't start Android. Oficially I couldn't do anything.
So, I attempted fake passwords (I also tried all the passwords I've entered at some point in my phone but anything) till the alert of wiping data would start. When that happened, the next text appeared in the screen:
Decryption unsuccesful
The password you entered is correct, but
unfortunately your data is corrupt.
To resume using your phone, you need to
perform a factory reset. When you set up your
phone after the reset, you'll have an opportunity
to restore any data that was backed up to
your Google Account.

What can I do? When this screan appears and I plug the phone into my PC only detects the drivers installer. Nothing else.
Thanks for the help and sorry for my english and bad explanation.

Or you can format data from fastboot by this command before flashing recovery
fastboot format userdata

No, I can't unlock bootloader... I've also tried fastboot clear userdata but I can't.
The only way you can recover your phone is to use an unbrick guide, because indeed, your phone IS bricked.
Unlocking the bootloader won't work at this point, because OEM unlocking has to be enabled first in order to be able to unlock via fastboot.
Next time don't lock the bootloader if you're running anything other than stock (ROM, recovery, kernel).
P.S. you probably won't be able to recover your data either

Your problem is that somehow your bootloader is locked if it wasn't it can easily solved by twrp.
I think you're device is in brick state now.
