Hi does anybody know any sites for very high quality high definition images to fully maximise 468 ppi for the one s gorgeous screen. Not that easy a task

For my wallpapers, I just use a Google image search and search for images that are 1080(w) and 1920(h); which is the One's screen resolution, I believe.

That app crashes when you try and save a wallpaper. Not sure if its an issue with 2.3 or just ****ty coding. Used to work fine on my Nexus One.

This would be great info if someone with facts can confirm it.
It must be 960x800 if you want the entire wallpaper displayed
I was thinking that we could make a thread where we could share any application or widget found in any of the other HoneyComb tablets (Acer, Asus, Samsung, LG etc.)
Here is a couple that have been tried, tested and found to be working on the Xoom.
ASUS TRANSFORMER:
MyWater Live Wallpaper
The thread and instructions can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1048959 thanks to sano614
This is by far my favorite Live Wallpaper to date on the Xoom, the water level rises or falls depending on the battery level and when charging a lot of tiny bubble float up like in a fish tank.
Weather Widget
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1048959
A widget I would describe as similar to Beautiful Widgets with a (naked) background and your cities name in huge white letters
Screenshots can be found at the link.
ACER ICONIA:
SocialJogger (Social Hub for Twitter and FaceBook)
App is only working in portrait mode. But the widget definitely works.

Thanks to ericssonka and supr2nr
That is all for now but I will update this thread as I find more or as readers contribute with their own finds.

Found this in the Transformer system dump. But I can not get it to install maybe someone with more knowledge can help. I'm guessing it is a HC optimized screenshot application.
Good idea to keep this information centralized so it can be linked and found easily
Thanks that's the idea. Title isnt really catchy though.

Regarding the screenshot apk: I tried to sign it to see if it would install but no luck.
Anyone have any ideas?

How did you try to install it? Did you place the file in the system/app directory and reset the permissions on it or did you actually try to install the apk through the package installer?
Would you mind uploading the signed copy of it so I can play around with it?

Both actually. First I used RE to put it in system/app then reset permissions and rebooted.
Then I went back in and made sure the premissin were - User: Read ,Write Guest:Read then rebooted again.
Then I copied the. Ode file over and rebooted
Then I tried using the installer
Last I dropped the. Apk into an auto-sign for Mac and tried to install again via installer

I'm trying to sign the 3 .apks I pulled from the transfomer dump and I'm using "sign+test sign" for Mac to auto-sign does anyone know if I actually have to open the apk first to break the original signature?
Also, is this the best way to do this?

Hey, could you post the launcher 2 apk from that rom you were on. The pic is coming up blurry, and that's where the file is stored. Pushing that to our system/app folder would be perfect

Is not blurry its the Dep field for the lens of the camera, is to give a sense of deep.
I'll agree, but images posted like this are notoriosly sized down by programs and such. It makes it near impossible to get it looking right. But I do stand corrected

Lol i got it from the Framework-res but ok, i'll reflash my table again to post the Launch.apk if you're not 100% confortable. Ill post the new one in half hour after dinner. see ya then!
So this is essentially a combo between the stock ICS launcher + auto-rotate posted by bajansurfer and the 3 screen stock ICS launcher posted by matt_stang. what i'm posting is a 3 screen launcher which auto-rotates for landscape mode. I'm running oICSv26 and it works flawlessly (the app is actually sourced from koush's build). obviously i didn't create these mods, but only really combined them.
you should know what to do with this, not compatible with Gingerbread ROMs. rename to Launcher2.apk and push to system/app and set permissions or copy to system/app and set permissions to rw-r--r-- or:
Code:
x x -
x - -
x - -
in the root explorer permission grid.
download
updated with middle screen as default.
CM9 Trebuchet Launcher2 with 3 screens (includes preferences with enable/disable auto-rotate. version 0.1, Dock and Icons in preferences no workie)
Nice. Does having 3 screens use less Random Access Memory?

no idea, guess in theory it would but I don't know if it does in the real world. I just only need 3 screens.
