Hi, this is my first post.
I recently updated my phone to Jelly Bean and noticed some changes here and there. One change that I didn't like is that when I turn on WiFi, the 3G icon dissappears. Here is a screenshot:

Is there any way to restore it?

Thanks for answering.
In ICS I could see in dark grey the 3G connection even when it was turned off or WiFi was on.

That's strange. On every Android phone I've had (including Razr I with ICS) the 3g symbol has always disappeared when wifi is turned on.

This icon just randomly showed up today. Anyone know what it refers to? The one to the left of the Wi-Fi icon.
It was also present when I was on 4G

If I'm not mistaken, that is the download booster icon. Did you happen to receive any type of software updates?
See, that's strange because I haven't opened it up. I just reviewed the booster thread, found the shortcut and it was on?
I normally turn my phone off at night to charge, but last night left it on as I fell asleep early. As far as I can tell by the About Device info everything is the same version...

Are you having those problems after installing CM? I'm having that problem on any rom.
I have changed to the AOSP and it is solved now.
Hello
I have recently installed Xponsed framework and Xblast tool (4.0.3+ version)
I changed battery and signals (mobile and WI-FI) and coloured them blue. But now WI-FI icon has a bug. It always tells that my WI-FI signal is full.
I'm using stock rooted Jellybean with CoCore and Xponsed.

I am not sure that anyone here can help you, ask developer of the Xblast tool.
Does anyone know why my signal status icon is greyed out when wifi is connected instead of just disappearing? I've got a Rogers XT1058 and when I'm running the Rogers OTA it doesn't happen. But every time I try to flash anything else, I get the greyed out icon. Is this the way it looks for everyone else? Here's what I'm talking about:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Anyone? Just want to know if this is what everyone else is seeing. On every other ROM, phone, etc I've ever used the signal type icon goes away when WiFi is connected.
Hi guys,
I'm having this weird bug for a long time. Basically, when I connect to my work Wi-Fi spot device starts to utilize the network very actively. It can be reproduced only when I connected to that specific Wi-Fi spot. I've been observing this issue on any ROM and kernel which I tried so far.
Looking forward to any tips\ suggestions that can help me to identify the culprit and get rid of it once and for good. Many thanks in advance.
P.S. please don't suggest avoid using Wi-Fi there =)

Could it be that IPv6 is enabled on that network/router?

As of now, I can see that the connection is established using IPv4.
