is it possible for TouchWiz to change its DPI using DPI Changer? tried once 160 value but I needed to reinstall the rom.
if you want to change phone DPI, change DPI in build.prop in /system partition. you'll see the "ro.sf.lcd_density" and then change it. It should works. 240 by default. Of course you need root.
If you had previously backup your ROM, just advance restore the system partition only. Otherwise reflash with Odin

If I'm changing ROM and want to save the system settings, how do I do that?
Witch files have the settings what I have to save?
Is there an app that do this?
If not, how do you do this?
Can you help me to make a zip to install after flashing a ROM so I get the settings from the ROM before?
Like an zipfolder there I can change the setting files with my own so they will remain in the update. A update after the flash that install my settings, maybe with a2sd and build.prop, gps.conf and so on.
every rom have different method for saving system data
and we should not restore one rom's system data to another one it can cause instability like Bluetooth not working tethering not working or mobile bootloop
I have just installed cm9 and I used to use stunner in tablet mode (160 dpi) is there a way of doing the same in cm9
Do it manually
Navigate to /system/build.prop, open in text editor and search for a line that reads:
ro.sf.lcd_density=xxx
Where xxx is the value you wish..save, set permissions like other files and reboot..
Thank you very much i have hit the thanks button
You can also use LCD Density Modder to easily set your dpi. Free and paid version availabe in the Play Store.
Or Rom Toolbox from the Market.
Hello, I was wondering if the system font can be changed without root or launcher

Changing the overall system font has always required root. Don't know why that would change. Launcher choice never influenced font selection either.
System fonts live in the system partition.
Update: I was able to change the font with the flash zip option using the app previously mentioned. When using iFont (Expert of Fonts) or any other app for that matter to switch font, after rebooting the device it bootloops? I've tried clearing the Dalvik & Cache & even tried fixing permissions. Any thoughts on how to successfully change the font or a working app?

Is there a square where the " : " should be in the Minimus ROM?

Using iFont? Where is the Flash zip option?
Sent from my Nexus 6
Open app, MY, Settings, Change font mode, Recovery mode. Now when you SET font it will create a flash zip. Make sure you backup your Rom!
Yes.
I am on Paranoid Android ROM. I can't change the number of columns of quick settings tiles. I already invesitigated and found that I have to change the quick_settings_num_columns value in the res/values/integers.xml, I decompiled, moded and recompiled the SystemUI.apk, but when I flash it or change it directly using Root Explorer (with the correct permissions) and reboot, the status bar is gone and my background too. If I try to restore the original I get the message System UI has stopped. I don't know what to do, if someone can help me I would appreciate it.
Dirty flash the system to restore. Paranoid doesn't support this kind of customization
