SuperNexus 2.0
I've been running SuperNexus 2.0 build M1 on my Exhibit II 4G since the 05/27/2013 update. Thanks to Tim1928. It is a very stable and smooth ROM. AnTuTu scored 5130 right away at the stock frequency (no OC currently available). Everything I have tested so far works great, including BT, voice calling, camera, etc. Even though the GPS is listed as "not working", it appears to work too. Unfortunately, as a new member I am not allowed to provide a meaningful feed back in the [ROM][UNOFFICAL][AOSP][4.2.2][JDQ39] SuperNexus 2.0 update 05/27/2013 thread. Therefore, I thought I could mention this great ROM here since I am running it on my Exhibit.

Im also running CyanogenMod 11, 20140116 build from Jfbs, with aaopt's kernel copiled from team ADC sources. It works very good, with about 1 day of battery life.

So how's battery life on AOIP?
Battery life is great, about the same as what I had under the 4.1 and older roms, like Rootbox and the others. With the last kernel from camcory with the whitescreen fix that is.

I used to run linaro Cm10.1 it had amazing battery life. But, maybe because I used to have a battery saver app.
Here's a tip: turn off GPS or Bluetooth if you don't use them.
I never need them, so I save a couple hours of battery.

do you feel it's stable? do you have SODs, wifi, or bluetooth issues? does your phone drain massive battery?
I thought the latest PA based on CM9 was as stable as CM9 itself

my apollo always force closes without fail, and browser shuts down too without any warning and sometimes the phone also gets stuck in such a -paranoid- way that that it does not respond at all. no button. but after around sometime it respobds and corrects so smoothly as if it never stopped.
and around 40% of time the settings force close definitely
btw no...all these you mentioned work otherwise

Hello everyone,
This is my first post in this forum but i have been android fan for over 2 years and i have experinced with different roms.
For over 10 mounts i have been using a MIUI GB Rom which was good and everything works, but sometimes i just had to reinstall it because it begun to FC everything.
I wanted to try the new Jelly Bean 4.2.2 on my device but i found that there is alote of Roms out here.
I need you to recommend Which one to install. The importent thing too me is that everything should work and be stable too (wifi gps bluetooth).
I am thinking of cm nightly or slimbean Roms.
What do you think?
Thanks

I tried several roms and my personal top three is:
- SuperNexus 2.0
Superfast but without any customization and the battery drains a bit too fast.
- Slimbean
Maybe the most complete and the best rom.
- CyanCore
A bit faster than slimbean with less customization, but there is all I need.
Now I'm running CyanCore but maybe slimbean is the best try.
In my experience, SuperNexus 2 JB Rom exceeds all other JB custom Roms for i9000. Super fast, lag free, stable, and consumes the least battery.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
I agree SuperNexus is amazing, especially if you are looking for a fast, "stock" JB ROM. However if you are looking for speed, reliability, and so forth but with customizability then I would wholeheartedly recommend aways Xylon ROM or his PAC MAN ROM. PAC combines the best of Paranoid Android, AOKP and CM ROMs into a superROM.
Helly Bean hands down. With that said, I was just about to try out SuperNexus since everyone's raving about it!

Try out Silm Bean
Never had problems with slim bean very fast and efficient rom. best thing is the batterydrain is lower than in most roms.
Try latest c-ROM mix v13 and i found it better than super nexus 2 when it come to customization and plenty of options with semophore kernel

What about battery life? I am on super nexus for over a month. Gives decent battery life with 50% usage for a days use. Just using Whatsapp, email and maybe about less than half hour talk time. Thinking of moving to version 13 of crom mix.

I only have 2 posts so I can't post this in the proper forum. I just updated to build 9 of Camcory's Rootbox. On the previous release there was a performance option to mod the cpu settings. Is there one for this current release? If so, where is it as I can't find it.
Did u try looking under ROM control?
Sent from my SGH-T679 using xda app-developers app
Yes I did. I went through every menu on it. Unless it is hidden by some secret method, like tapping the build number to enable developer options like on some other roms, it's not there.
Did you install a over clock kernel to let the options be available
Sent from my SGH-T679 using xda premium
Yes, I have demons blood v5 installed. That shouldn't matter anyways because in previous releases, the performance menu was still available with the built in kernel, i.e. I didn't have to flash an overclocked kernel to get the options.

Does not seem to contain build 9, (2013 05 14)
Sorry if I missed it somehow, used ctrl+f, then read each one after that failed.
I'm also looking for that build. Was wanting to try Rootbox with the latest AOIP whitescreen fix kernel to see how it runs. I'm thinking that is most likely to work with it since it is also based on a 3.4.x kernel.
Mmmmmm....
Well, thanks to reply...
Anyway, i using DarkCM on KitKat so i don't need anymore Jelly Bean...
P.S.: This ROM was eating a lot of RAM/CPU even on Idle
Can anyone provide feedback on which of the custom 4.1+ roms is most stable for a T679M? The more stock it is the better. Preferably I would like an AOSP rom.
by most stable I mean
- all hardware working
- good battery life
- good performance
also, can you install roms for the T679 on the T679M, or do I need to find a rom specific for this version?
Thanks

You can't use t679 roms you need to find a rom compiled for your device.
The T679M can use all the same Roms as the exhibit which was clarified in cams a lip thread. My best experience was with the smoothie jb v3 rom for 4.1

thanks for the link. hasn't been updated in a while and still had the beta tag, so I probably wouldn't have looked into it without your recommendation.
how is battery on yours with the different kernel? I'm getting about 6% drain per hour sitting in standby without a SIM, with screen off, but Wifi on. A bit disappointing I guess.

Well look I flashed 10.1 and the battery is OK doesn't drain so fast but then I flashed latest tesco kernel and the ROM felt much smoother in general, but there was a problem: no deep sleep was observed, hence the battery drains dramatically fast.
So I am asking for a solution to get the best of both worlds

This is most likely a kernel problem. I suggest rolling back to a previous version of TESCO kernel. I don't have any previous versions but perhaps another XDA user can provide you with links to them.

i guess "Tesco V2.9++ (3.0.94) "
i have use the tesco kernel, and his kernel has battery drain issue.
os i have build my own kernel, de-overclock his GPU, patch new feature.
and the battery drain issue is become less.
