hi there,
i managed to run quake 3 but WITHOUT 3D opengl acceleration.
anyone suceeded running it with accel.?
Was it playable?
yes about 5 fps. but hardware accelerated is about 30 fps!
Can you give us details?
The Xperia runs most optimized movies at 20-22 fps, so I don't think we'll be able to run Quake III at a usable framerate anytime soon.
Could you make a guide of what to install and in what order etc? Maybe upload some files so other could do it?
Obviously dont post any game files or links to game files as this would contravene the anti-warez rules, but perhaps any custom config files if there are any.

I'd also like this.
Thanks.
ask not what people can link to for you but what you can google for them

got 5 to 15 fps on mine but this is the accelerated version. non accelerated version run at 1/5 fps ....and the reality is that you have more than 5 fps even if 5 is displayed... cf the diamond thread.
Can you post the configuration file or what files did you modify?
I tried it on my X1 and it just exits without errors after it ries to load a map. Also, it wasn't fullscreen.
Any help with configuration?
Here my config file.
menu are NOT in fullscreen but the game is in full screen
you can change the invert mouse configuration but don't change anything else.
Thanks, I'll give it a try.

is this with acceleration? which files do you have in q3 root dir?
Ok, it worked, even in landscape if i start q3ce while the keyboard is out. In this case, the menu is messed up, but you are able to guess where to press.
It's running at 4-5 fps with low graphics, I think. Anyway, thanks for the config file! Maybe someday we'll have a better optimized quake.
dont forget that q3ce has been program to run on intel 2700g so it's not optimize for our qualcomm with ati graphics
The conversion isn't working properly for me.
After the pakconvert I end up with a 123mb pak0 file (correct according to the installation manual). the 123mb file can't be manipulated though, I get errors when trying to copy, zip or do whatever with the file (so I deleted it.)
Anyone encountered this?
Alright, now I've gotten the convert to work, but my X1 keeps telling me that the execute file isn't a valid ppc application!
I've got the original Q3A files, who can send me (/point me towards) the proper PPC files (the non-illegal ones)? I think mine are broken ^_^ (googled).
Thanks!
you have to remove the libgl.dll and sometime have to softreset for the program to lauch
Strange thing is, it sais that the executable file doesn't work on my x1! I get the error that it's not a ppc file. And yes, I downloaded the PPC files.
For someone who can’t run fpsece 0.096 on your diamond, maybe this is the answer what you are looking for (It works for me).
1-Put your game image file IN SAME DIRECTORY WITH FPSECE.EXE (YES! NOT THE /ISOS/!), this is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!
2-For someone who use a compressed game image file (.z .bz .znx), create two registry keys on your diamond:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Loader\LoadModuleLow]
"LIBZ.DLL"=dword:00000001
"LIBBZ2.DLL"=dword:00000001
After those changes on my diamond (especially the first one), I finally get fpsece 0.096 works with several wonderful games (like FF VII, Vagrant Story, …), a little slowly, but works!
Hope this post could help you (if you need ^_^), good luck!
hi,
where are you find the 0.09.6 version ? I've tried with the 0.09.5 and FF7 "rip" in .iso by nero burning rom (700mo wahou), but it doesn't work ! when I run the game, I have the boot of playstation with the sound, and after nothing !
could you help me please ?
sorry for my bad english....
here it is.
thanks dud, it works perfectly ! little slowly, the first game I tried is Formula 1 and it's very difficult to play, but for RGP games it's good !
thank you for your help
have a nice day !
Yes, I had this also on default factory ROM. Every time you have to choose a file using a file selection dialog - be it a bios, memcard or iso - fpsece 0.096 just quits. The simple workaround, not requiring to change registry or move files out of their proper dirs, is this:
In the file selection dialog, before you select a file, just change dir and change back.
EDIT: My device is Touch Pro.
Good tricks here, I quoted them on FpseCE forum, with the source and the link to this page.
Thanks!
There are slow Alaab
I hope the solution ;;;;;;;;;

Your neva gunna get fpsece running at full speed on your diamond, infact i think the only ppc that can is the axim and its intel graphics chip lol
Got it working in my Diamond (WM 6.5.0)
The ISO (img whatever) must be placed in the same folder as the fpsce.exe as mentioned above!
Game takes some time to startup, runs slow though. Impressive nevertheless^^
GTA 2 on 2,8" screen
any memory problems?
is there any memory problems playing games with this?
is there a control pad in the screen for easy playing? since I really have a hard time playing using my diamonds buttons on the other emulators I tried
Thanks! Those 2 registry for my Diamond are really working!
Nice, although my gaming days are over
FPse is one of my favorite apps of all time. Love it!!
Does anyone know how to play games like pokemon or things like that cuz i know theres a way, theres gameboy advance emulators in the market i just dont know how to do it so can anyone help me thanks
First If it asks for the BIOS get it from here http://www.mediafire.com/?aylfnzmpyeb
go to Settings and select GBA BIOS file
Navigate through the SD
find it
select it
then go to this >> http://www.coolrom.com/roms/gba/
Then download your Desired Gameboy ROM
Then Take that to the SD
then go to the Gameboy emulator
look for it
Click it
Play it
Enjoy.
-Download Gameboid/GBCoid
-If using Gameboid, download the bios 'gba_bios.bin' (it's all over the net, easy to find). Gameboid will ask you to link it, just navigate to wherever you downloaded it.
-Grab your ROMs (games) from romulation (not sure if we can link to such sites here so I won't)
-Make a folder on your SD called 'ROMs' (well, this is optional, but a good idea so you can have them all in one place - if using multiple emulators, make sub-folders for each platform)
-Put roms in relevant folders and navigate to them from within the emulator.
Job done, happy gaming!
p.s. Grab this app for the best control solution (on-screen controls are rubbish and your thumbs take up precious screen)
Thanks Alot forum i wonder if you can play nintendo ds games on it that will be raw
which is the best gba emulator?? theres the bin file and the rom, but the emulator??
anyone help please
it says it in the top bro Gameboid
Hello mates,
I want to play my old psp games on my windows 7 laptop, so I downloaded Pcsp...
I downloaded "gta chinatown wars" (no worries I own the Original Game on UMD) but the file doesnt seemed to work.
First try was the nintendo ds version^^
the i downloaded gtacw.ISO because i read on homepage that iso and cso roms are supported.
But when I try to open the file (as UMD, just my psp is broken) ot shows "Error: cant open, file is encrypted"
I know that it could be that this game isnt supported (didnt find a list) or that the file is crap. So I just wanted to ask if anyone here has already some knowledge about emulators and what to do about this error and where I can get working isos.
I wrote this on this forum because here are lots of peoples with computer skills amd I didnt want to create a new account only for this

Hey guys!
I really have a problem and I would need some help to sort this out...
I have a TP Link WDR-4300 router which I attached a 320GB HDD and enabled the FTP functionallity so I can watch my movies/stream my music anywhere (I usually trip to the countryside every weekend and I would like to see a relaxing movie there), but since none of my TV's are Smart enabled, the only thing I can imagine being useful it's my Raspberry Pi.
Can you guys please help me with a distro and some apps so I can stream my videos from my FTP server at home?
Any help is wellcomed!
Thank you in advance.
Anyone? Please help?
I still need help with my problem...
I still have the same problem, searched on the official Raspberry Pi forums, but no sollution at all...
Is there anyone that's willing to help me?
Anyone ???
You can use Kodi (XBMC) and add an FTP source (at least I'm pretty sure), though I would recommend using something like the NFS or Samba/Windows File Sharing.
If you aren't using a distro that comes with Kodi support: http://kodi.wiki/view/Raspberry_Pi
