Porting ROMs to s3 mini

Hello. I have found that the Samsung galaxy ace II has almost the same processor etc as s3 mini. Can we port a ROM to s3 mini? I tried it with a guide from the forum but it caused a bootloop.... I tried it with carbon ROM but I may have done something wrong.

I told you, before.

I know man but in the thread I read that your ported ROM must be from a phone that has almost the same specs and I don't know if ace 2 has similar specs with s3 mini because ace has 800mhz and s3 mini 1000mhz

definitely not. s3 mini dead for samsung. they will not update anything tho. so best is just use a custom rom if you want 4.4 so bad.
