I don't know if its me or my laptop or phone???? Sometimes when I click on Sprint HTC One Android Development, I see a bunch of ROM's such as Trickdroid and other ported ROM's. Other times I click on it there are only a few ROM's such as Viper, OMJ, and Blue and Jazz. What the hell is going on? I've never had this issue going back to the OG EVO days.
HELP ME!!!!
Are you paging through all the pages for HTC One Android development?
You are looking at two completely different forums, one is the "Sprint HTC ONE" and the other is the "HTC ONE" the generic version that i believe is for the international phone. Most of the stuff is compatible with one another but then some of it isnt. there is a post in one of the sprint forums on how to port these roms over. Trickdroid is looking pretty good so I will be looking forward to see it on the sprint side.
just make sure that when you search for our forums, put specifically "Sprint HTC ONE".. I normally just go to google and type "xda forums sprint htc one" and it will pull up our forums directly.

That's strange that the tab I click on everytime to get to the SPRINT one forums would route me to the HTC ONE forum.
I downloaded the Trickdroid ROM, the inverted apps, and the subzero theme (that's in our theme section). Currently running smooth. Running the wolfpack kernal with it and got an antutu score of 22975. Not too shabby!

That was the first Rom I flashed. It's optimized and pretty smooth with a very stock feel. I liked it.

I have a US ATT phone. He's a very respectable dev too. I'm not sure why there's a separate forum for ATT.
Scott moved back to SGS4. They sent him a phone to do Dev on in that forum section. He no longer supports HTC One. I am cuurently on that build (ATT US phone). I tried out ARHD 10.1 for a while, but went back to clean Rom. I wish someone would continue this Rom onto 4.2.2. It's super fast and have not had one issue. It seems this always happens. I find something awesome then the dev leaves.

that is a shame really, I agree if we can get someone like him on board. Not that I dont respect present developers, i Like Mike's work, but arhd 10.1 eats my battery, dont know whats issue.
Actually, ARHD 10.1 isn't bad on my battery anymore. It was really bad the first day or so. But it's much better for me now. I guess it has to be broken in?

Having already bricked my phone trying to put Revolution HD on it, (no sprint support) I thought I'd ask what people are currently running and their opinions. Most of the roms in our Development section are mostly graphical changes it seems, and lighter versions of cleanROM.
Are there any roms that are really popular for us poor Sprint customers?
I've run OMJ's, Mack's Dark Horse and settled on d3rp. Love the mobile commander and bareback options.
I feel like we have plenty of options, don't feel left out at all.

I agree with the general sentiment, but if you want variety, have a go at the Original Development section. AOSP ROMs for this device are certainly out and about-- I didn't mind my experience with it (besides the then-prevalent sleep of death "bug").
Go to Sprint HTC One Android Development
Now go look at the views and mainly "replies" to each rom. That will give you a general idea of the favored roms. The method I use when getting a new phone or when a friend or family member comes over with a new phone and wanting a rom installed

Hi People,
Finally I have decided to move on from my beloved HTC Incredible S which has been my companion for more than 2 years now and I chose HTC One to be its successor (Yeah I am a HTC Fanboy so my obvious choice was HTC itself). But there are couple of questions that I would like to get answers to before I zero in on it.
1. If I get a HTC One Sense Version, is it easy to install the Google Edition ROM on it? because I love switching roms often and like Latest Updates on my phone just to experience it
2. How is the future of this handset? I am asking it because, my Incredible S had begun with GingerBread and now with awesome developers, I can install KitKat in it too Thats a whole long journey on it.. Just wanted to know if the hardware and processor is future proof because after spending wholesome money on it, I dont want it to get stuck at kitkat
I checked the forum and found that there are whole lot of ROMs available for HTC One and I am excited to go for it. So any guidance here would be wonderful
1. Wouldn't say it was easy. Just be sure to do your research. Read all the relevant topics and so everything exactly as detailed. Here's just one of the many threads you should read.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2358781
2. Apparently stock sense will be supported until next major release 4.5 or 5.
Custom ROMs will go well beyond that I'm sure. Don't know where official gpe support will end.

Oh the Google Edition will be supported max till 2 updates eh? Didnt know that..
Also, why I was asking because, even if official souce code was stopped by HTC.. Devs had developed kernels from scratch and kept the In credible S Alive.. I would love the same happening here..
Any devs who can give info
Didn't say that. Said sense will be supported to either 4.5 or 5. Whichever comes first. I.e. one more big release.
GPE anyone know? Will it follow the nexus 18 month support?

He he, I love to Just some questions as I always love rom modding
Does anyone know how long will GPE be supported by google? Is it same as current nexus??
BTW, There is an Indian Variant of HTC One.. One which has Dual Sim and seems like Single SIM HTC Ones have stopped for no reason :/
Will the custom Firmware of this Single Sim Ones work on that?? Or there is a separate forum for that?
Hi All,
I have a couple of questions around the KitKat roms in general. Main thing is how do i know i have KitKat and not an old version like JellyBean?
The reason i ask is that on the HTC website (http://www.android.com/versions/kit-kat-4-4/) KitkKat should have the features lists although looks nothing like that. I don't see a different phone app, i can't seem to get the full screen album art working. The main reason for updaing was to see those features but mine still looks like it always has done.
I have tried the ViperOne 5.0.0 and the Revolution Rom but all of the features above don't seem to be on my phone.
Rich
Those features are specific to the nexus 5. You can get the Google now launcher by looking in the themes and app section of the htc forum. The icons are also specific to the nexus 5. Not sure 100% but n4 also got those icons. Album art and certain tiny things were also exclusive to nexus 5 or stock Roms. Have you tried any gpe 4.4.2 Roms? I was on the htc one but moved on to the nexus 5.

Anything wrong with this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2652969
Easy on the double posting mate
and to answer you, you're looking at Google Edition features, ViperOne 5.0 and ARHD 51.0 are HTC Sense based.

If you are S-OFF !! (I think most GPE ROMs need S-Off)
You can take a look at @ClydeB1's index thread for GPE ROMs, including an ARHD version of close-to-stock GPE version.
Since I haven't tried them, I can't say if they have what you're looking for, so you'll need to check them out.
I just bought my first htc. It's a boost opcv1 w/ 4.4.2. I've found online that the 510 runs sense 6.1, but the unit I bought says sense 1.47.652.1 ! Doesn't make sense to me, and I'm reading allot about people having trouble rooting the boost 510. I couldn't even find a version of sense that matched that! I'm curious if I'm really running 6.1, or what!?! Anybody know? It also says API level 6.25 on the back. Not sure what that means, or if it's relevant to my question. Thanks for any input!
Your running sense 6 bud
Geezllac HTC desire
Thanks for the quick response! I haven't had a chance to revise my question from earlier! I had looked at the phone again just to be sure I had written down all the information and actually found what I had missed. It raises a new question as to why another site that shows which HTC device uses what sense version, and says the 510 uses 6.1? The phone itself plainly said, sense 6.0 . Thanks!

Thanks for posting that. I saw that once, also. I knew what you were talking about but couldn't find it. I believe our phone is a slightly upgraded version of Sense 6. Probably some minor bug fixes and/or little enhancements.
HTC desire 510
I'm not sure either! It could be exactly what you said, but only applying to the 6.1 version? I would imagine since my phone says it's running 6.0 under the battery, that it may just be an early version of the 510. Idk tho! Not extremely worried bout it at this point. I intend on reading up on some forums since I'm new here and see just what my capabilities are with this phone and others. I'm sure I'll have more questions in the future! Thanks for all the help guys!
