Need help htc one freeze on HTC screen - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, I have a big problem
I unlocked my HTC One, everything went well
I installed the recovery
and after trying to install the rom (revolution)
The phone has been launched in htc screen when I turn.
He restarted well bootload but not to access recovery.
I tried to reflash the recovery via fastboot command on the pc
But still no result.
It remained or bootload screen or htc home
I leave in charge that night and it's even worse: '(
the bootload no longer works
It will only restart in htc home screen.
When I reboot and press volume down ... The screen remains black with the red LED on or restarts on htc screen.
It is there another way to find / reinstall the recovery or ROM?
Thank you very much in advance I lost

Have you tried with flash of the boot.img of rom with fastboot?
If not, try it:
- Extract from the zip the file called: boot.img
- Put it into your fastboot folder
- Connect the phone at the pc in fastboot mode
- Flash the boot with
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img[/url]
- Make an erase cache [code]fastboot erase cache
- Reboot the phone
Code:
fastboot reboot[/url]
However, your battery is charge?

[Q] HTC One [M7] Boot loop...

Hello,
I'm having the infamous Boot Loop issue but with an interesting twist...
I have gotten to the point with command prompt where it is < waiting for device > (I'm trying to use ADB)
And my device is in "FASTBOOT USB" mode
The only issue that is between me and sweet victory is my computer isn't recognizing my device.
When I plug my device into my computer a popup saying that "the connected USB device is not recognized" shows, I know that it isn't the USB or the cord because I was just using this setup about an hour ago to transfer the Rom (Android Revolution HD) to my device.
Any Ideas on a fix for this issue? Hope everything made sense, I tried to add pictures to help explain but the forum wouldn't allow me to.
[Edit]
I am willing to do a hard reset if need be, but I can't get to the options to do so because that is in recovery which I can't access...

Looks like you have drivers issues. If you go in windows device manager, when you connect the phone it should says ''My HTC''. If not you'll need to re-install the drivers.
originally from @nkk71: [GUIDE] [02-MAR-2014] nkk71's SuperGUIDE to returning 100% back to stock
2) Q: I'm using Windows 7 what should I worry about
A: when you issue the command "fastboot boot CWM.img" (now only in CWM/TWRP restore method) there's a high chance drivers won't correctly install

follow the below instructions to fix
Open "Device Manager" -> select the unknown "One" -> right-click -> "Update Driver Software ..." -> "Browse my computer" -> "Let me pick" -> "Android USB Devices" -> select "My HTC ..." -> install that
just in case, HTC Drivers can be found here: [Drivers] HTC Drivers for Windows - Several Versions (credits to @mdmower)
though you should already have them since you have been using your phone anyways
for those who like a visual guide:
okay so I did a fastboot boot command, and as you can see it didnt install correct driver
Open "Device Manager"
there's the culprit
right click and Update Driver Software
select Browse my computer for driver software
select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
select Android USB Devices
select My HTC ... (if you have more than one version, choose the latest)
warning, select Yes
successful installation
now it looks better
and can confirm:
Code:
C:\ADB3>[B]adb devices[/B]

If your device is on hboot 1.44, it will not communicate with windows 8.1 in bootloader mode.
reboot in bootloader mode and confirm what is your hboot version. If you are on 1.44 you'll have to either use a windows 7 pc or use a live linux cd.
I had the same problem but I managed, but no way to put another rom, I tried to put the RUU, anyway problem solved thank you.
the solution was to use a PC with Windows 7 and not Windows 8.1, launched from my directory FlashBoot "FlashBoot flash recovery" nom_du_clockwork.img "
then "fastboot erase cache" then "fastboot reboot-bootloader"
recovery finally worked and I restore my backup!
ensuite "fastboot erase cache" puis "fastboot reboot-bootloader"

Yes its better and simpler to use a windows 7 pc. The OP want to flash arhd rom so he will need to flash twrp recovery not cwm.
Btw ''flashboot flash recovery'' or ''flashboot directory'' is incorrect. Its fastboot not flashboot
Thanks guys! wedows 7 fixed it! Means a ton that yall took time out of your day to help out the stupid!

dead on arrival, no more fastboot

Hi,
today I received my Mi A2. I unlocked developer options and enabled OEM unlock.
Then I rebooted to fastboot via power + vol down and executed
fastboot flashing unlock_critical
as fastboot oem unlock didn't work (command unknown).
I got the bootloader unlock screen and commited by "unlock bootloader" + power button.
Until then the phone booted up. However I wasn't able to boot TWRP-3.2.3-jasmine-20180804.img or a magisk patched_boot.img, both attempts just hung without progress.
Now I'm stuck at the android one logo and nothing happens or at fastboot logo with no device detected.
I suspect it's bad RAM.
anyone else?

fastboot doesn't work, it's stuck at "waiting for device" and fastboot devices shows a blank space, though I see the mi bot logo.
I'll return it.
for me every single attempt to flash a file failed though it showed the unlocked logo for the few times it booted.
it even showed random behaviour (fastboot returned unknown command, etc.), took several times for fastboot reboot or did nothing, it's defective.

Change port USB, remove driver's and begin cero.

cannot even reach it under ubuntu via fastboot
it's impossible that I broke it cause I wasn't able to flash a kernel (boot.img) or something else
and I wasn't able to switch a slot: "this device doesn't support slots". when I entered fastboot set_active a it returned
this device only support slots
a
b
it acted as if it was infected with an ART rootkit or had bad memory.

In my case I was trying to flash MIUI 10 the third time then it fails I was using Android One rom September update and it was working flawlessly without any problem.
After miflash tool fails to flash my phone wont be detected either of my PC and Mac
I am thinking using deep flash cable to enter EDL but is it possible for MI A2 hopefully it is because I don't want my phone to be opened, ITS NEW :crying:
Am I still covered by warranty? If not I have to send my phone to repair shop to just enter EDL mode and to be able to flash stock or miui again
About me flashing MIUI I did follow instructions to avoid Anti Rollback (Never flashed MIUI 10 via twrp instead I flash custom roms)

Did anyone solved this problem?
I've bricked my device and I can get on fastboot mode but the PC won't recognize the device.
I've tried several computers and systems, windows, ubuntu, debian...
Did the deep flash USB cable work?

You have to flash an older Firmware. for this you need to boot in Download mode (Volume up and power Key while connecting to the PC) LG disabled the service of some Lg Q6 phones.

No, to switch regions you will have to unlock the bootloader and flash the fastboot ROM of the region you want to switch to.
Are you sure that bootloader is unlocked?
You have tried to flash MIUI firmware of all regions ....based on your pics!
