First, why are there two ways of taking screenshots, one by holding down the power button and pressing home and one by pressing the power and volume down at the same time?
Once I take a screenshot either way, I can't find it. There is no screenshot folder in the gallery. If I connect my phone to my computer, there is a screenshots folder inside the pictures folder and the screenshots are there.
One is built into android and one HTC built into sense. Also, in your gallery tap my photos, events, then albums to see all of your albums

So we know that you can do a native screenshot on froyo holding down back and then pressing home. Some apps work but not all apps do. For example this xda app if I were to hold down back, it would just pop back out to the main page and when I push the home button it would just go out to the home screen. Is that xda app or is that froyo?
I know that we can use external apps to get screen shots but I was just wondering if hold back and home not working on some apps is because those apps hasn't not been updated or is it just froyo?i guess the other thing could be my spaz fingers?

Having a few problems with this rom. First of all the camera works fine but the video camera in 720p and 1080p is squeezed and not full screen recording. Second is I can't seem to make a folder icon on the desktop? There is no option when I hold down on an empty space or press the menu key, also I cannot make a folder in the apparently menu either. Thirdly is it possible to customize the lock screen to add my own unlock things?

just drag 1 icon over another, it will create a folder (see help in APEX)
I don't know if I just imagined this, but if you hold down the app drawer button on the home screen does it open up a folder that apps can be added to? If so, how many can be added?
Thanks!
Nope, long press does nothing.

Just drag & drop it on another icon it should automatically create a folder.
Hi,
Anyone able to remove the camera shortcut from the bottom? That is the least function I even use on my "Phone"!
I can move it between the four position, I can put it in a folder but I can't remove it. I would love to put my gmail there instead (along with phone, message and browser), I use gmail 1000 times more then the camera
This is the one bit about the one I don't like. The app draw is confusing. You have to go into the app draw. Long press on the app you want in the draw and drag it to the bottom.

I now find that it makes sense to organize the bottom shortcuts in the app drawer.. it's just a new feature for old souls to get used to, but I like it now.

It does take a couple of goes to get used to but I like the way htc have done it, it's good to be different.

Got it now. Thanks
I don't really like the new sense, sense 4.5 are much better...

I like how they implement it. Making it only removeable on the app drawer makes it more secure to accidental touches. I usually hold my phone when screen is on and there are times I get my homescreen messed up due to these long presses that moves it accidentally.
Custome shortcuts can't be added

The issue I've found with this, is that I can no longer add a custom shortcut that I've created from apps like Quickshortcutmaker. After creating a unique shortcut, it adds the shortcut to my home screen. From that point on, I cannot add it as a lockscreen shortcut, as that requires that I open up the app drawer (which does not show my custom shortcut).
I've been scrambling around to figure out how to add a custom shortcut. I don't think it's possible without rooting. On the HTC Evo LTE, etc.. I used to have a custom shortcut to the Voice Search feature to go directly there without having to click more than once.
Does anybody know how to take a screenshot of a picture whilst in the Snapchat app? The power button method doesn't work while the picture is on screen.
Cheers
