Ok, here is my story...
1. Flash official rom
2. Flash cwm in odin to root it
3. Change CSC in *#272*imei# and success
4. Test some kernel but not satisfied
5. Flash stock again in odin without revert to stock recovery
6. Root again, cwm is already there
7. Try tp change CSC in *#272*imei# menu but nothing happen coz cant even enter the CSC menu
Is it bcoz i not revert back to stock recovery before flash stock rom?
I read somewhere someone suggest to flash the stock rom again but as CSC not as PDA....is it true?

Or have to use pit file to revert to fully stock?

Busybox could not determine location but i already install busybox in xbin
Trickster not working, said no root
Is it will return to fully stock if i use pit file to flash stock again?

will i need to root my device before i flash a custom rom?
not really, most customs roms now root the phone as part of the installation.
although you may need root, to get CWM / 2e Recovery unless you flash thru odin
thanks! i think i might flash darky's
you can do that via odin, and darkys wil root for you so all good.
the guide should help me through

Everytime I try to flash a kernel it fails leaving me with the BSOD yet flashing a full ROM works fine. Ive tried the latest Speedmod and Semaphore kernels so far. Im not loosing download mode which is good but it is getting kind of annoying now as I cant get CWM on my phone.
Any Ideas?
Cheers
Have you tried sgs kernel flasher for flashing kernels?

I havn't. The point is that its always worked up untill today and I'd like an idea of why its not working now. BTW chainfires kernel wont flash either.
Im using EZBase Odin. Flashing Roms work its just kernels on thier own that fails.
Post screen shot of odin just before you hit start please

Hi guys, as per title, I would like to see stock rom on my device but I am using philz safe stock kernel. Updating via wifi reboots the phone and that is it, while using KIES - it freezes on my laptop.
Is there any way to update it via normal OTA update, not via odin etc?
