Installing language on SGS

Hello there,
New question:
How do I add a dutch dictionary to the gingerbread keyboard? I read something about replacing latinIME.apk with dutch language with adb, but it didn't work (the file I used could have been 'fake'). Anyone knows how to do this?

you must firstly root your phone
to install swype language, firstly you root your phone... and you must find your country language file of old roms... soon you must put it in language folder of your phone system files.

My phone is rooted hence flashing doc's rom. Umm what directory and do you have an example of a ROM.

Languages are part of the framework, therefore are added by themes. Find a theme that suppers darkys and has the language you need and flash it via recovery and you are gtg.

So I need a theme that supports darkys rom and they have a dutch language pack in there? Is that what you are saying?

About the languages there is an app called "morelocale" in market, check it out.

Im sorry but it works half of the time... and there is still no dictionary. Ill just keep my phone in english, but a dutch dictionary would be nice soo.... Does anyone have the dutch dictionary for the gingerbread keyboard? Thanks in advance!

Confirmed that it doesn't work on Nexus S with CM7.0.2. And here I was, feeling all superior for using CM7.

Just installed going to test after conference call! So glad it finally released and compatible with our phones! I missed this so much coming from iPhone 4.

(cm7.0.3 with netarchy kernel).
The netflix app tells me my device isn't supported.
Sucks too because I was excited to hit resume on my trailer park boys episode.

Doesnt work here on stock 2.3.4 using Netarchy latest test kernel (.12 I think?) EFF.

Works on stock 2.3.3!
I was so worried it would not be compatible with our phones when released!

Yes please confirm. Maybe we can change the build fingerprint if it's changed from stock on CM7 plus other custom roms.

It doesn't work because has a rooted a file on the internal phone n doesn't let me root or umroot it . I reset the phone n its still there. I don't know what to do to remove that file >…<

You'll need to flash an SBF file using RSD Lite. That will return the phone to a like-new state as far as the file systems are concerned.

Is there video for that ? Because I suck with pure writing instructions

[SOLVED] HTC one USB OTG problem after 4.4 ota

I have a developers edition. After I installed the 4.4 update I cannot write to my usb flash drive via otg cable now. I can only retrieve files from it. I did not have this problem before on 4.3
I usually use ES for my file manager. I tried astro and everything else. Another weird thing is that after the update when I click usb on my local directory it goes to /mnt/media_rw/usb

It then says not found.
The only way I'm able to go and view my usb flash drive directory is if I manually go to
/mnt/usb
I checked the properties and it says it's r/w
Is anyone else having this problem? I searched everywhere but found nothing since this update is brand new I guess. Can someone try and test otg on their HTC one? I transfer files in and out on my flash drive everyday for work.

How did You solve this problem?

I'm interested in this solution as well. I mount my USB stick through the OTG cable, and I can only read files, no write access is possible. SW: Android revolution HD 51, rooted.

I just upgraded my claro chile moto x (1058) to the Brasil retail version of kit kat.
Now when I receive a call, the name doesn't show, only the number
Same if I call someone
Y just realized that If I erase the country code (+569 in my case) the problem solves, but I need that code to use my contacts on whatsapp.
Any ideas?
