Hi all, just want to know if could be dangerous for battery life to charge it with pc's USB?
There shouldn't be a higher risk than charging with the standard charger because both use 5V

Where have you seen it (5V) on USB cable?
Look into the Wikipedia article about usb ( http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usb) , it has always 5V and it is written down on the charger

I bought. Sixasis controller and it didn't work for me. To make it work U have to have a cable to connect controller to phone. But to do so ur cable must have external power because razr I doesnt have in off power in battery to connect to controller. When U'll get it connected once set up program and U can use conrtller wireless
Simple

Its is possible to our phone to connect to VGA monitor or projector?
Using any adaptor or port?
Or is there any app needed?
Note no computer needed to display our phone to monitor.

So can we get it done using pc??
Sent from my GT-I9070
use remote control with wifi
Connection to vga monitor would be probably if phone has mhl with mhl<->hdmi and hdmi<->vga adapters, but this solution may not work.
Samsung Galaxy S Advance doesn`t have mhl, and there is no way to directly give video output on vga/dvi/hdmi screen.

Change usb mode..
It won't charge in one of the 2 modes.
You need to connect as mass storage if I'm not mistaken.

It's a different story in a pc. A lot of car stereos have no or only a limited mtp implementation
Also
Your app probably makes changes the way your phone connects, and therefore it might be it is possible it will charge correctly

I'm talking about in car mate, our Vauxhall Vivaro vans have the usb input into them. I don't use an app either, just plug n play. Same with my Ford Fiesta.

Sorry mate I mixed your reply with an earlier post from someone else.
Well maybe your lucky, but mine only charges in one of the 2 usb modes.
I don't use the usb in my car stereo anymore since I stream it now via Bluetooth.while its actively charging in my DIY car dock charger. Charges a lot faster than trough stereo usb

Ah fair shout. I was wondering It's slow as hell to charge so I got myself a Powerbank and stream, as you do, via bluetooth. Much easier. Cables suck haha.
