After a long struggle I installed Clockworkmod rec and did all backups and Wiped off the rom.
I just downloaded virtuous_quattro_alpha3_pyramid.zip and tried installing it.
it throws an error "assert failed" with status 7. Am unable to install.
Please provide a solution or suggest any other ROMs for HTC Inc S. This really irritates.

Why are you using such an old version. The latest version of Virtuous Quattro for the IncS is RC3. Try downloading the latest. Also make sure you have a current version of ClockworkMod installed.

You're using the wrong quattro build! The pyramid isn't for the Incredible S, you need the Vivo- hulkshare. com/pgwu1qvoiyvt (remove space before com)
Grab this .zip and it should solve all your problems (assuming you have S-OFF)
got a question probably a stupid one, is it possibile that i cant install CM10 rom on my Galaxy s+ coz im trying to install it from the internal sd card (internal phone memory) coz i dont have an external sd card.... when im trying to install it in recovery mod it gives me the following error:
e:Error in /emmc/cm-10-20121125-ivendor-alpha5-ariesve.zip status7 installation aborted ... i guess its becose im trying to install it from the internal sd card but it worked also like this with other roms i tried, so is there a way i can install the rom in odin without having to use the recovery mode or any other way i can solve this problem?

Hi,
not sure, but have you flashed twice?
moreover, check this thread - probably might give you an answer: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2046400
BTW internal card should be ok...

Flash the latest CWM for Galaxy S Plus and try again.
This is how to flash it:
Download Odin Multidownloader 4.43.
Download AriesVE.ops.
Download recovery-clockwork-6.0.1.9-ariesve.tar.md5.
Than follow these steps:
Turn off the phone and make sure it is disconnected from the PC.
Boot the phone into Download Mode. To do so, press and hold down the Volume Down, Home, and Power buttons until the screen turns on and an Android icon in yellow appears.
Close Samsung Kies Process from Task Manager.
Double-click Odin3 v4.43.exe to open Odin on your PC.
Connect the phone to your PC.
You should see a message that says “Added” in Odin. If not, there might be a problem with your drivers.
Click on the OPS button and select the AriesVE.ops file.
Click the PDA button and select the recovery-clockwork-6.0.1.9-ariesve.tar.md5 file.
Click the Start button to begin installation. Once installation is done, you should see a PASS message. You’re now free to unplug the phone from the PC.
I hope it helps.
@nameh: what do u mean by have u flashed twice? i flashed the stock rom before then i installed the recovery 1.2 with odin and then i installed the broodROM Business Edition v1.2 rom with the recovery mode... now i wanted to try cm10 but im getting this strange error
@educk: i already installed the recovery clockwork and i installed the broodROM Business Edition v1.2 with it and it works but when im trying to install cm10 im getting that error
Mostly you get this error message when you're flashing a Rom with different partition layout from the existing one.
Just flash again the Rom and you will succeed. Sometimes it will take 3 flashes to finish it.
Good luck.

I remember from the day I flashed for the first time (CM9) I received the same error message. When I searched I realized that most troubleshooting says you have to flash twice the same ROM. So you flash it once, then again into recovery mode and flash again (the same ROM).
When I did that everything was solved and working fine.
so basiclly i have to flash the stock rom twice then reinstall the recovery mode 1.2 and try it again? or can i also flash the broodROM Business Edition v1.2 rom again and try if it works?
I would try the second part -

I would say that the problem might be related to different partition scheme CM10 uses. Have you tried the CM9->CM10?

Could you try reverting to stock, then to CM9 and then to CM10. Just plain ROMs?

If you a) revert back to stock with odin, then b) get into the stock ROM, you should be able to c) copy the zip files into the phone and d) install them from the recovery, cant you?

Try to see if the zip file isn't corrupted first
Edit. Also remember that this is not the right place to ask those questions. You are on the Android development thread

Flash semaphore kernel for jb (3.3.0 I think) the reboot to recovery (it's important to so this) then full wipe and flash cm10.2 . this is the only way to go back from cm11 to cm 10.2

Did you check the MD5? It's possible the rom didn't download correctly. the MD5 ensures that it matches with the file online.
Try re-downloading and flashing. You can push the rom using TWRP, or flash the previous ROM and start again.
It should work. ViperOne does seem to have Sprint support...

Hi,I"m at my wits end at this stage.I've rooted my phone and it says tampered and unlocked. But when I try to flash CM11 in TWRP I alway"s get a failed message.I noticed during flashing it states no MD 5 file found! I've tried TWRP 2.7.1 and 2.8.5.0 versions. When I use TWRP using the external SD card I get the failed msg. I've even tried flashing by USB OTG but it fails to even start flashing by this method . Any help much appreciated.

If you read the post you'll find that cm11 is very faulty.
the problem its not TWRP but the cm11 you download. Make sure its the correct version for mini 2 and from a secure source.
Hi, Thanks for the quick reply.I downloaded the ONLY Snapshot version available for the HTC one mini 2 from the official Cyanogenmod site! Thanks...

There is no Philz recovery for the One mini 2......See if you have the latest version available for our device(See the TWRP thread)
Also try a nightly if you are not able to flash the snapshot version
TWRP Thread [for Mini2]: http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-mini-2/orig-development/recovery-twp-2-7-1-0-one-mini-2-t2801370
I quite like the Sense UI so I'm not CMing this device...yet.
