sorry if this is a noob question
according to this page
wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Vivo_Info
our vivo got 16GB of internal storage
but on my phone
the /system partition is 549MB
and /cache 142MB; /data 1GB
what are the other space used for?

I think they made a mistake, the VIVO only has 1 gb Internal Storage
and it says htc Sensation (pyramid) has 4GB but it has only 1GB in /data
wondering what the phase "internal storage" refers to

For some reason my Note is running out of space.
So I go into storage settings and it says "external_sd" is taking up 12.55 gb of storage space.
I am confused why it thinks that is part of internal storage. Anyone else have this issue?
I am on RR v6

can i upgrade usb storage?
My phone has 8.89 GB usable phone storage space.
For internal storage, I have 3.97 GB (Apps taking up 884 MB). That leaves around 3.1 GB remaining idle.
Is there any way to reformat my phone so I can increase the phone storage space from 8.89 GB to 11 GB ? Apparently I don't need that much internal storage space.

No, i recommend just buying a micro sd card. 8gb cards go for around 10 dollars.

Nope, SXL doesn't have external SD Card, and if you have one in your SXL, then you have a fake one
Other than that, NO, you can't resize the partitions as those are nand partitions, hard encoded in there.
so i don't know how "binagh" recommended an external sd card

so we all know we have 11gb about or so free for internal storage on JB .. and your external storage is however big your sdcard is (mine is 64gb) well with all these new games that are coming out with .obb files that are HUGE 600+ MB or more .. is there anyway to make the external storage actually internal storage so that when you click move to SD it really moves to your SD card and not internal storage.. i know there are some apps in the appstore that might do this.. but the real question is do they work for Jellybean. because the mounts are different now.

This one worked for me on JB leak. I was able to move the data of NFSMW & Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour to ext sd & play :good:
I m using directory bind. Move your data to ext sd and bind in internal sd.

Similar to Nexus devices on 4.2+, is this possible?
The app memory and SD card partitions are on the same memory chip aren't they?
Or would it require kernel modifications? (I have a locked boot loader).
