NO you HAVEN'T! Look in the general section, on the same page you started this thread on, or type your thread title into Google, then you'll see it's quite clear you haven't.

Then you have to wait for an exploit.

I want to be able to unlock my bootloader, but starting another thread about bootloader unlocking however isn't going to achieve it, so unless yours is, then you're stuck with the current methods.

So yea, I'm looking everywhere on how to root an Xperia TX. I admit I'm a bit of a noob but I just want to root my phone. I previously had an Optimus One and I successfully rooted that and applied a custom recovery loader along with a custom ROM aswell so I'm not a complete noob.
Every where I look, the website is either not reliable or the guide is for the Xperia T or V. I'm a little worried about following an Xperia T guide so I just wanted to ask what would be best to do or if anyone has a guide that they can link me to?
Thanks in advance.
I have to say, I am really enjoying the community even though this is my first time posting.

First.
Remove the mention of the app from the OP. Any mention of warez etc is banned from xda.
Secondly.
Just follow the instructions to root.
If you are on newer firmware 195 or 223 then flash a TX firmware that is 303 (Or equivalent)
Then use bin4rys method to root, then the method to update back to newer firmware whilst keeping root. Its all in that thread.
Same for me, it wasn't clear in that thread.

You just saved me and my phones life I just ordered a TL29i and it will arrive next week. First order of business is to root! Do these come with a locked bootloader? I know Sony has a website to unlock it for "developers."
It depends, I would have asked the people I was getting it from before you ordered it... Beyer hope it is otherwise there is no unofficial way to unlock yet

How do I customise the signature on xda premium app?

Did you ever get your LT29i (TX) rooted successfully? Just un-boxed mine and charging it before I even try rooting it. Any tips or advice on reading through all those threads?

You posted the same thread across 3 different forum sections. This is against XDA rules and is considered generally rude in any forum.

sorry about it i'm afraid of my phone bricked ( anyone help me please
You have to first use flashtool to flash it.
Once you've flashed it with one of the generic firmware for C6603 or C6602 depending on your model, you will be able to boot into the stock firmware for android.
You'll then have to root it using goroh's root exploit and then flash either cwm or twrp again. For cwm and twrp, if you have a locked bootloader, you have to use the locked bootloader versions instead.
After that, you can then proceed to flash the rom of your preference again but before that, i suggest doing a nandroid backup.

Can't find it!
A good place to start looking for how to root is in any sticky threads in the general section or in the development section.
If you had looked in the original development section, you would have found this - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2327472

Thank You very much. It helped. I also have one last question. I have installed CMW-Based Recovery v6.0.2.8
How can i cancel the sideload option? It says sideload started. I have accidentally chosen for that option and now it says "Sideload started..."
What do i need to do to cancel this??
I bought a Xperia SP today, awesome phone, love it. now i need to root it. i heard it needs to unlock bootloader first to room and if i did that im going to loose bravia engine and track id. so i need to find a trouble free way to root it.

Yes that will root your phone without losing be2 or DRM keys.
You don't need to unlock your bootloader

This is my understanding too. Bear in mind that as soon as official updates are released a developer here will make it available on xda. This means you often get updates before you would normally (because they are rolled out at different times depending on carrier and region).

Odexed roms work faster than deodexed. If you don't plan to modify your rom don't deodex it. Though there are many mods for odexed roms too.

The update is only for c5302 Sp models.... If you update your c5303 modern with .284 you will lose 4g connectivity but not much else.
