[RECOVERY] TWRP 2.5.0.1 touch recovery [2013-05-20]
Thanks for this !
I hit the thanks button.
I am a new smartphone user, this being my first one.
After using the excellent CF Auto Root method, I tried the above custom recovery install.
Works great for me!
Thanks again!
You should post this in the twrp thread itself. Not start a whole new topic.

Hello,
I made a flashable .zip for the new touch recovery 5.8.1.8
Old version still available as well... --> 5.8.0.2
Thanks to Koush for this.
Thanks to everyone at XDA and all developers for their hard work.
I'm assuming just flash through CWM and reboot recovery?

Nice recovery tested here. Works great. Support for install of zips via internal and externel. Touch works great. No need of volume buttons now yay

This should work for replacing any Atrix recovery on an UNLOCKED bootloader. It is the same from Rom Manager with touch enabled.

Did you have a UNLOCKED bootloader recovery like ROM manager or ROMRacers? this is just a replacement for those. This should not affect your booting your ROM.
You can use Fastboot to reflash this recovery manually if you have issues. Unrar this .img file first.

I'm runnning CM7 elite from Clemsyn and no problem so far.
It should be the same base.
Works excellent!!!
Thank you.

Has anyone tried this with Neutrino? I know people have said it works with CM7 but the Neutrino dev suggests using romracer's recovery with his ROM so I am just curious if anyone has tried it with that yet.
Just just bought it from the app store. Thought the devs may like a couple bucks.

Hello XDA,
I was wondering where I can get the CWM touch for our devices. I have searched the forums and could not locate a downloadable link.
If someone can post a link and they're experiences with this... is it just as stable as the traditional CWM recoveries included with most ROMs? Etc...
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

CWM touch is not yet available for Note.
If you watch this YouTube video you'll see the individual is using CWM touch on a galaxy note (int'l version)

I use CWM but I really don't know that much about it. What is it about CWM that you don't like, and what about Red Pill that you like so much?
My only previous experience was with StreakMod on a Dell Streak 5. I think it was just a modified CWM.

CWM has saved my ass countless number of times
Hey there,
hope somebody can help...
i have a little Problem with the CWM-Recovery
Since i had a Problem while flashing the 6.0.1.5 recovery, which ended in an error, which is NOT logged, i have a CWM Version 5.5.0.4 on my mobile and can not change it angain to e.g. 6.0.1.2

Yeah, thats what i did again and again...
Now i found a recovery thats working properly. Didn't want to have the touch version, but so what. Don't have to use the touch, it also works with the hardware volume keys.
But anyway thanks for your hint, Mate.
Best regards

Thanks for the link playful. Got a question though. I did the three wipe method (dalvik, cache, and system) like you said and flashed the cm11 both downloads I download numerous times ,I thought maybe I got a bad download. And both downloads every time I flash comes up "failed" I'm on 4.2.2 rooted with twrp installed. I reran your freedom apk to make sure the f340 aboot was installed. And still nothing. About 10 sec after the "updating partitions" line comes up it pops up in twrp "failed". Any suggestions? Hints?

Your instructions I see don't actually say to wipe system does that make a difference? And also your instructions describe the cwm recovery options. Should I be using cwm instead?

Twrp doesn't like 4.3 and higher. Don't have a clue why. Cwm Will do the trick. Which is a bummer for me because I really prefer twrp.

thanks man, if we could get twrp to work, I would feel much safer testing and trying different things out, but, with no custom recovery, and after already bricking this thing once, I prefer to leave well enough alone...
Recently received this little monkey and now looking to root it and put CWM/TWRP on it.
Chain fire doesn't support this model (i9070) so asking you to recommend.

Root JB: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2087424 .
Temporary CWM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987313 .
If you want permanent recovery flash cocore kernel or mk kernel.
Try to search a bit on our sub forum, you should find everything you need. However, if you don't find, don't hesitate to post.
Enjoy this little monkey haha
Installed cocokernel and after that, I can't connect to wifi network (latest version of the kernel that is available). Restored back the stock kernel and wifi working again.
Also, how to get work call recording by skvalex ?
Or there is another app for this device that records from the line?
