Change vibration intensity - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there anyway to change the strength of the vibration on this phone? I'm on 4.2.2, and the vibration is extremely noisy when I place it on a table.

If you get fauxclock app from Google play it's for kernel but does work with stock has a vibrate option on it

Faux kernel will not work on android 4.2.2
You have to wait an update from faux with new source code by htc...

[Q] Galaxy S i9000M Froyo weak vibration when receiving a SMS.

I recently flashed Doc's Froyo ROM for Bell. It's been great. I usually put my phone on silent before I sleep and after the first time I put it back on vibrate, I noticed that when receiving a text message my phone vibration is really weak, barely even noticeable.
For the past few days I've been trying a bunch of settings and nothing works. I know it's not the actual vibration motor because the vibration is good when I test in the diagnotic mode or when I receive a call. I also noticed that there is no vibration setting in the Messaging app, which used to be in 2.1.
I also tried the Sound Manager app, reset to factory settings, other messaging apps and nothing works. Anybody have a clue what the problem is?
I'm having the same issue under Perception, which is JK3 based as well. I hope someone figures it out.
Edit: Never mind. My vibration intensity was turned way down on this ROM by default. I cranked it up and everything is fine.

Where did you find that intensity option?
this took me a while to work but but this is how u change it:
Settings > Sound > Vibration Intensity
Note: MUST have Heptic Feedback turned on to adjust the Vibration intesity, once selected the amount you want, just untick Heptic Feedback if you do not wish to use it
Just tried it and message vibration is still barely noticeable.

Does the ROM you're using include an OC/UV kernel? I'm wondering because I downloaded Xan's voltage app and changed my IO scheduler from BFQ to NOOP and my vibration became very weak, regardless of the haptic feedback setting. I changed it back to BFQ and, after a reboot, my vibration went back to normal.

[Q] Vibration after AT&T gingerbread update is too intense!!!

So I've searched everywhere but I haven't been able to find an answer.
After I updated my Captivate to the official Gingerbread 2.3.5 update...When I get a call or notification, the vibration is way more intense than what it was on Froyo. Has anyone else had this problem?
From your home screen, when you enter Settings, can you then click on: Sound, and then Vibration Intensity? If so, you should then be able to lower it a bit.
The reason I ask is I'm not running stock GB, but Legend 3.4, and that setting is grayed out. But if it's available in stock, try it.
Go into settings/sounds make sure haptic feedback is check , then set the vibration intensity.
Thanks guys,
but I've already looked into that. On the official Gingerbread release there is no 'Vibration Intensity' option except for the Haptic Feedback part. And when I adjust the haptic feedback vibration intensity it does adjust some of the system vibrations (the vibrate when I put it on 'vibrate', etc.) but it does nothing to the call and notification vibrations.
But thanks for your input!

An idea? Have you tried adjusting the call settimgs under 'all calls'? Turn off the vibrate settings there for vibrate on connect. It will still vibrate on silent mode.

[Q] Vibrarion Intensity Issue on Stock ICS

I recently upgraded to stock ICS 4.0.3 via KIES.
I have the ringtone and notification vibration intensities set to max under Settings -> Sound -> Vibration Intensity. When I change the intensity under this menu, I can feel a very strong vibration, however, when I receive calls, the vibration intensity does not match what I have set and is almost unnoticeable. I have missed several calls because of this issue.
Does anyone know of another setting or app that will fix this?
Never mind. Decided to go back to GB and problem is fixed. LPY seems to be really buggy at the moment...

Vibration intensity

I just upgraded to 5.0.1 and it seems that the vibration intensity is much much lower that any other ROM I've tried. I don't know do we already have new kernels for this instance, or there is a way-around to fix this issue.
Just while tying (in Google's native keyboard) I don't get enough vibration feedback, however the incoming call vibro strength seems fine.
Any solutions perhaps?
