http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=909258 The downloads list return an error of "This ID does not exist" Any clue as to where to get the files specified?
I might still have these files on my old computer. I'll take a look.

Hi!
Trying to figure out how to upgrade but I am missing something.
I downloaded the file JASJAR_WWE_11353_137_10301.EXE.
When I run it it gives me a country ID Error 120
Following other posts I downloaded the file MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe which gives me the error missing run.dll.
In another post it says to put the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe in the same directory of the JASJAR_WWE_11353_137_10301.EXE.
BUT THE JASJAR_WWE_11353_137_10301.EXE DOES NOT CREATE ANY FILE NOR DIRECTORY.
WHERE THE HELL ARE THOSE EXTRACTED FILES???
P.S. What a nightmare.
I don't want to be rude but if you don't know how to unpack those files - you shouldn't be doing this.
And why do want to put a JJ rom on a wizard?
no offence...are you on crack or somethin?
jasjar ROM into k-jam device?! :?
I have been getting an error when trying to execute the "Creat" executable that converts a png or jpg to the required rgb file of exactly 300kb needed for the boot flash pic ( the one that replaces the "G1" splash)- I found a guy in another forum that said he was getting the same error that also said he got it to work after updating the framework.net file- this doesn't make sense to me, but any help I could get I would very much appreciate....Chris
BTW- the error is "the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)
is it because i need to put the CreateG1Splash.vshost.exe and the CreateG1Splash.pdb in a particular location?

Zip & Xap coruption in windows 8
I can zip. I can rename to xap and I can send to my phone and it works but when I try and extract I get error this is causeing a lot of headache and is happening on more than one zip file I have tried both versions of 7zip and WinRAR with no avail. searched the internet for days on end I cant figure out why this is happening.
OK, basic bug reporting steps here:
1: summarize the problem. All I got is that it has something to do with zips, xaps, WP8, and Win8.
2: explain what you're trying to do, what the expected result is and what actually happens (the screenshot helps with, but does not replace, this step).
3: give the steps to reproduce the problem. Do it as actual steps, not a run-on sentence with no details. For example, how are you sending the file to your phone?

Okay this really has nothing to do with my phone. other than the fact that zip's can be turned in to xap files.
lets say I have a folder with some pictures in it I right click on it and hit add to archive ok now folder is zipped.
then I try to unpack it but I cant because its corrupted.. I can not extract the file or a pic I get this error.
I Have found only one other person having this error on 7-zip forum and he says in only one post he fixed an error he was having with his zip by turning off IDM. I honestly don't see how that's related.
I have lost files due to this error.
If you copy the file off the PC, can you open the archive on another machine?

OK so.
I take a folder, 7zip it to .zip
renamed .zip to .xap
Extracted file just fine, windows 8 x64 pro.
Soooooooooooooooooooo...update your 7zip?
Not even sure why you're asking this in a phone forum, but did it work to extract the files on another machine? The fact that sending XAPs to the phone wors suggests that the problem is with the decompressor on your PC, not the compressor.
Is there another place I can find the 3.04.651.2 RUU zip other than on here, because the post that has it doesn't work I get Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_3_04_651_2_RUU.zip: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged. The person who posted the file hasn't fixed it yet either. I already did a google search the only other place was Android Central, but it has the exact same broken file as on here so I'm completely stuck as I can't just take a non-RUU and put it on my phone through fastboot, because it fails at the signature check.

Download it from the (VT) Mirror #10
http://m10.androidfilehost.com/download.php?fid=23203820527945238
It downloaded just fine and the MD5 Checksum verified.
Thank you for trying, but I still get the message: Sprint_HTC_One_m7wls_3_04_651_2_RUU.zip: The archive is either in unknown format or damaged when I go to extract the file from the zip.
Have you looked here?

I am trying to backup my WhatsApp Database folder to my computer which is Windows 8.1
When I try to copy the folder it throws up the error message " Unspecified Error "
I have also tried to copy the files individually but the same error comes up again. I can copy any other file from the WhatsApp folder but copying the Databases or any file from it comes up with an error.
Has anyone had any experience with this or knows how to fix it. I have never had this issue before on my HTC One X. I think the upgrade to 5.0.2 has done something to it as I could do it before on 4.4.4.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I assume you are copying it via USB, if you can set up a network share from the computer then copy it across via a file manager (eg ES File Explorer) (this effectively turnes one folder of your PC into a NAS), or you could try copying it to a microSD in the phone then taking the microSD copy it to the computer via a reader.
Yeah! I've had the same problem. I somehow end up copying part by part. May be file size or the sheer number of files are what are causing the error. Not sure.

I am now pretty sure its because of the Images folder inside Media. Too many images (not the size). Works flawlessly with the entire rest of the files. And the Images folder has to be opened and individually, a bunch of images have to copied at a time
