Please follow the instructions precisely
You must downgrade to ICS version 303 in order to use that method. Then upgrade following the method to keep root

I dont think so, but you can back it up in Titanium Backup anyway and restore it later
Do you have any idea why the backups & restore stop app working ? And can you tell me more about downgrade.

Because Sony closed that loophole.
Downgrade to 303 using flashtool
Root using bin4rys method
Install CMW
Flash a pre rooted JB rom (Mine for example)
Before rebooting flash a JB kernel.
Sorry I forgot to tell you my bootloader is locked is this safe..?

Yes. You will have to flash a stock JB kernel then.
Do it in flashtool by flashing a stock JB ftf and exclude everything except kernel.
And please can you give full tutorial..

Just type into it "Root many android by bin4ry"
That will tell you how to do it.

Firmware 7.0.A.3.195 can not be rooted. You should downgrade firmware or upgrade to jellybean then choose option 3 in bin4ry`s method.

Mobile bravia on never unlocked bootloader

I had 4.1.1 on previously and I flashed 4.2.2 with flash tool and I had problems at first as it wouldn't flash with TA ticked so I backed up TA before installing 4.2.2 just in case it screwed it up.
I tried flashing TA from the firmware package with everything unticked and it still won't flash the file to have chances of getting mobile bravia back
Is it safe to flash the previous one from 4.1.1 TA from the firmware.
Also tried restoring from the TA BACKUP software no luck

Thats all? Then i can receive the updates form Sony again an can i use Sony pc companion?
What do i with the kernel?
Stock firmware will flash stock kernel.
If you have to backup you can also lock bootloader.
And yes, after that you can install anything from PCC

I have a question related to this topic.
I had Doomlord`s custom kernel v21 with root and unlocked bootloader.
Im trying to revert back to stock rom and kernel via flashtool and generic nordic rom.
Flashing goes alright but after flashing when i try update my phone either OTA or trough pc companion they both failed.
pc companion says that i have modified sony and i guess it same with OTA update.
Should i do something also, because i thought flashing with stock rom should revert all but bootoader back to original.
Thanks in advance.
You cannot use OTA or Pccompanion with an unlocked bootloader,
You should flash the latest version FTF using flashtool

You can only flash ROMs which use the stock kernel or have a specific LB (lock bootloader) build.
Thanks dude, Your help is very appreciated.
