[Q] Bootloader Stuck - Rogers - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I have a HTC One - Rogers That I have had some hardware issues - It was unlocked through
HTC and with a custom Rom running.
I wanted to return to stock - Sadly my backup did not work
Presently I am stuck in the Bootloader with
**TAMPERED**
**Relocked**
**Security Warning**
If someone can please point me into the right direction so that I many get this resolved!
--- Hardware note - The reason that the phone has to go back is the USB connector is faulty and
does not hold the USB Cable in place for charging ---

Broken volume buttons, but I really want to Root

Hey peeps
All right, here is my problem:
My HTC One M7's volume buttons are broken, and my service provider quoted me about $250 to fix it (and not under warranty - they claim it is physical damage ). The quote suggests that they must replace the whole casing, so it seems only a new volume rocker won't fix the problem.
I really want to flash ROMs again (as I always did with my Desire), or even just Root. The thing is, when unlocking one's bootloader through the HTCDev (getting a ticket, flashing file via fastboot etc) procedure, you have to use the volume-up button to confirm if you want to unlock your bootloader.
Is there a way to either:
Remap hardware keys during boot?
Root by bypassing bootloader unlocking?
Send a "VOLUME_UP" command via fastboot USB interface?
Oh and the other thing that complicates things: the device's HBOOT is version 1.57
Please don't tell me I'm forever stuck on stock...

[Q] HTC One - Stuck at white screen

Hello there,
My HTC is not starting up since an firmware update this week (mobile phone provider: Hi/KPN in the Netherlands). I do not know which firm update it was. I have not rooted, unlocked, flashed or made any other kind of customization on my phone. After the firmware update the mobile phone restarted itself and immediately got stuck on the white screen with the text HTC One and beatsaudio. Rebooting the phone has the same results. So I tried the bootloader (HBOOT-1.57.0000) in order to use 'factory reset' and 'recovery', but both options don't do anything.
Can anyone tell me which options I have left in order to repair my HTC One by myself? I would really appreciate your help!
Greetings,
Ivo

is your phone still under warranty?
Do you have adb/fastboot on your computer? if yes post the output of "fastboot getvar all" except your imei and serialno
I have the same problem with a verizon htc one
Cannot find device
I installed Minimal ADB and Fastboot, but it cannot find the device while the mobile phone is switched off or in HBOOT-modus. Probably because debugging is turned off? Is there another way in which I can provide you the information you need?
I have a repair service, but than it will take three weeks before I will see my phone back. That is why I wanted to manually reinstall the software. Is that still possible?

Usb debugging is only required for adb commands while the phone is booted to Android os.
Fastboot commands should work with the bootloader in fastboot mode regardless of usb debugging. Make sure your drivers are installed correctly and the bootloader is in fastboot mode not hboot mode.
You need to provide the getvar as requested by @alray, or we don't know what software is safe to recommend for you :good:

[Q] Unlocking bootloader on a locked HTC One (3 italy)

Hello there, I posted a while ago because I wasn't able to update my HTC One nor connecting it to usb in any way.
Finally, now I was able to update it over OTA (wifi) and... well it still won't connect to USB.
Right now the phone is sitting at :
Android 5.0.2 Sense 6.0 software 7.19.771.21 and it's a HTC one 3
Strangely enough it's not sim locked cause I tried a vodafone sim earlier and it worked.
So, the main change here is that I was able to boot it into recovery mode but I wouldn't know what to do there.
Any advices on how to proceed to unlock bootloader, s-off and all that wonderfull stuff?
I reiterate that the phone WON'T connect in usb mode, not even in fastboot, looks like.
Thank you very much in advance

Already told you the last time that there is nothing useful in stock recovery, only factory reset.

Fix your usb port first. You must at least be able to use fastboot commands when in bootloader which requires usb connection.

How to SIM Unlock HTC One M7 Sprint on Lollipop 5.0.2

Hello Guys,
I just lost my phone and a friend of mine gave me one that he is not using anymore because he did not know how to unlock it so he bought a new one. Now I have that phone and it happens to be an HTC One M7 from Sprint, it is running Android 5.0.2 with HTC Sense 6.0, Software 6.23.651.10. I booted in recovery mode and it says it is Relocked, S-Off, Hboot is 1.61. Also, there is one option that says simlock and if I click on it then it says SD init fail (within the recovery mode menu).
The phone is rooted, I managed to do it via Kingo App and I just need to get it working in another GSM network, I have been looking for information about this but all I have found is info for when we were back in Android 4.2.3 and tried to go with it but it does not work.
If anyone can please help me find a solution so I can unlock this phone I would really appreciate it.
