[Q] How to flash Galaxy S M110S (Korean version) with Odin?

Hello all, I have a Galaxy S M110S (Korean version) from Anycall
Few days ago, I flashed it with i9000 firmware (XXJP3). It passed but it didn't recognize my Sim card so I can't make any phone call or SMS.
How can I recovery M110S firmware.
I have some firmware for this (DH07, DH09, DH19)... but when I flash it with Odin, it always fail. I tried with the pit file 512 or 513, tick & untick at re-partion but the same error appear.
Can anyone help me?

No need to use PIT file - put firmware file (DH19 etc) into PDA field
Dont change any options

I fixed my bricked phone using JP3 firmware from samfirmwares.com and the Korean Froyo 2.2 update (which I found in Google)and used Odin. I'm pretty sure its not supposed to work but it did for me and now I have Froyo on my Samsung Galaxy S Shw-m110s The only problem now is there are two boot screens. The Regular galaxy S boot up and the Korean one lol

the solve for this problem is using the Special
SHW-M110S Recovery Zip
from this site and use odin3 1.82 and change the bootloader
the bootloader is in the you download from the site and as to pit file
there's 2 pit file use m110s.pit
I try it from 2 min and it's work's fine

Hello Guys
Well i have m110s 16 gig and it has ginberbread installed couple of weeks back i was copying files and it screwd my phone and since then it gives me an error that damage internal sd card. Guys ofcourse it's not hardware issue because i have seen the motherboard of m110s and thre is CHIP(rom) in there for storage and if i can flash my phone with different vertion of rom back and forth then it means the memory works just fine. I belive it could be problem with partion. because i can see only 98 mb of space which it allocates for cahe. I think possible solution could be stock Pit file or Bootloader or both of them. if i flash it with stock files i guess things would get ok.
But seriously guys it's annoying me now as i can just use it as phone and not smartphone.Can you guys help me out in this.

you are using the wrong pit file. Go to samfirmware.com and download the correct one that corresponds your firmware.
Download this PIT file: http://www.multiupload.com/ZL9HDOGI5V put in the PIT section and put the others file like you did and then try again.

looks like wrong CSC--should be P1000JPJM5-REV03-EMMC-CL869932.tar. download the correct file from samfirmware here

Click on Re-Partition, it's not enabled in your screenshot.

HEEELP !!! My Galaxy Tab freeze in Samsung logo !!!!

My glxy Tab P1000 work fine !!!
I try to upgrad to 2.3.3 by using firmware P1000JPJPC, using odin 1.7
In the first, i use P1_EUR.pit and i use "Re-Partition" ( the flash process is aborted – fail !!!)
I retry by using "P1_add_hidden.pit and i use "Re-Partition" ( The flash process success – pass) the tab restart in recovery and show error !!! in restart the tab is freeze in glaxy logo !!!!
I try many firmware (differente region and version) an all "PIT" fliles the sam result !!! freeze !!!
I use ROTO-JME for p1000 and the same result !!!!!
I try to remove battry, and not any result !!!
Please help me !!!! i read may tuto in this forum and other and i use many solution, not result !!!!!
For information, the tab is put in download mode !!! (no problem)

Use P1000JPJM5 then use KIES to update your CSC to P1000OJPJM8 (OFFICIAL).

Which errors do you have in recovery mode?

Just install PDA, PHONE, CSC and leave .PIT then your TAB will reboot and freeze at SAMSUNG.
Just wait and don't do any thing it happens after flashing.
SAMSUNG logo takes time

Try installing Overcome ROM. It's one of the best.
Go here and follow the guide http://p1000.teamovercome.net/?page_id=64
The guide is very well done and easy to follow. Just make sure you don't skip anything. All the needed files are there.

did you edit a file or the zipfile?
May you have damaged the zip or the config file, it looks like it isnt linux conform anymore.
if you didnt change anything you should try to redownload it or use a rom like the overcome ones.

May i know if you are from a Froyo or Gingerbread? I guess you are from Froyo,and the problem at your bootloader and can follow the guide from overcome posted about,hope it helps

I start from a Froyo, and i folow tuto from overcom step by step, the problem, is after restart !!! after download and flash "001001-GB-Stock-Safe-v5.zip" with "gt-p1000_mr.pit", the tabs show error in picture 01, no the same error show in tutorial from overcom !!!!
In overcom tuto, the install update is successfully !!! in my tab, the istall updte is aborted !!!! show the picture !!!!
After, the tab freeze in galxy tab logo !!!!!

Hummm That's weird man. Are you sure you are following all the steps in the tuto ? Including the part about bootloader and some possible patch ? Because that could be the problem you are having. Just read the guide carefully please and try again.

the solution :
i flash my tab with this firmware "P1000JPJPD_P1000OJPJPE_P1000JXJP4_HOME.tar.md5" and "gt-p1000_mr.pit"
aftern no error in recovery !!! and the tab start normaly !!! and after i try to reflash my phone with "001001-GB-Stock-Safe-v5.zip" for teste only !!! after no errore in recovery !!! I noticed the first firwmare are repair my tab !!!!

HELP!!! i am using galaxy mini 2 s6500 and i have rooted it b4, but aft i apply a samsung update it keeps booting me to cwm reovery!!! anyway to recover my phone? thanks!

Try re-flashing the CWM you flashed first when you rooted your phone . If you used mb-14's method , which I think you did because I had the same problem , this will fix it .
I hope you didn't try flashing other firmware after the problem occoured . If you did , you might need to reflash your stock firmware .

Urgent help needed

Hey xda developers. I hard bricked my phone and i have no guarantee so plz help.
I first install s3 evolution rom and i got a bootloop. Then i installed latest inu 2.3.6 firmware and again i got a bootloop. cwm was Working but system was not mounting. Then i install 2.3.4 firmware via odin and it was stuck at downloading system.tar and i unplugged the data cable. Now cwm is not accessible and download mode only when connected to pc. Guys i have 3 firwares 2 of india and 1 of europe but none is flashing.

First of all, tell whether your phone is the gt-s5830 or the 'i' version ?? I your phone is normal s5830, the latest firmware from India is DDKQ8 and for europe it is XWKTS(i guess).. If you have that, flash that.. Make sure you have the drivers installed on your pc.. Also the inu 2.3.6 is for Ace plus and not for ace..

Sir now what to do? I flashed wrong firmware. Now when i m flashing correct firmware via odin using cooper and one package itz struck at mibib download. I waitd for 1hr but nothing happens. Plz help sir

My ace is s5830 and not i

The cooper file must be named "cooper_v1.0.ops".
