Battery drop down with Cyanogen stable release! - LG Optimus 4X HD

Hello,
I've flashed the stable release of cyanogenmod on my LG optimus 4x hd, my battery drop down from 100% to 10% in 8 hours WITHOUT using the phone. it seemed to be the NFC so i deactived it but still the same problem!
How to solve that issue? have to flash a kernel?
Or maybe flash a more stable rom? in 4.1.2? in 4.2.2? Which one?
Huge thanks for help

Restart your phone disable NFC and stop the apps you do not use in running Apps in CM Settings Menu.
For me the stable version has the best battery stats ever for my phone. 2 Hours of screen on with 50% Battery down from 100%.
Have fun.

It works, thanks sPEADy problem resolved.
I had to restart after disabling NFC to validate change. Now battery last much much longer!

[Q] Reverting to Stock Gingerbread 2.3.4 rom from Cyanogenmod 7.0.3

Would reverting to the stock rom erase every single trace of cyanogemod because i was having trouble with batttery life?
Yes, but even a full wipe will do the same.
Okay thank you for the quick answer. It seems you are running Cyanogenmod 7 as well, how is battery life for you?
Would the app Battery Calibrator be the issue when i used it in Cyanogenmod. Could that be the reason i had subpar battery life?
it could be, try calibrating on full charge and after about 2 cycles see the difference...

[Q] Help with improvements

Hi everyone, I'm trying to get all the potential from my O2x, so I have installed CWM, flashed DjangoManouche 1.2, and installed the Supercharger script from the Django topic, the question now, is why my battery drains so fast, I think I have overlooked something, and what can I do to get more power from my phone.
Thanks in advance

i can think of two issues...
1)try to change the BB/RIL combination to the one mentioned in the first post of the ROM by the developer...(DJ 1.2 is V20Q)
2)allow the battery to be charged and discharged for a couple of times....I mean a few cycles to check the actual performance...
Personally, DJ 1,2 is the best in GB ROMs - in performance, stability and speed....I am waiting for the Developer to come to ICS ...
Hope he is listening...one of my best friends in this forum.....I am waiting my friend for you in ICS
Thanks for the reply, I think that my RIL is right, because in GetRIL app, it says that my RIL is 0725 (V20q, Europe) and my baseband is 1035.21_20110725, how can I see if my baseband is 20q too?
And how many charges I will need to make, to get my battery working properly? At last, which kernel you think I get best battery / performance? And it's normal to get the phone at 40ÂșC or hotter when charging?
Sorry for my bad english, it isn't my native language

Are you sure that running for maximum performance, you wont damage or even brick your phone? And I guess 40c is kinda hot for the phone.. I used to get this hot phone on couple of roms this winter, but not any more.. I would suggest you to try out Owain's ICS , yesterday came out most stable and smooth version - RC0-35 And today he strted conversation with EaglesBlood , so hopefully soon we will get something amazing..
Friend, and your battery, how much time it lasts? Mine don't last for more than 12 hours of medium use, what kernel are you using now? And I want a stock ROM if I can choose :-D
Thanks for helping

[Q]Best and stable ROM

Hello members out there.!
I have one simple but still hard question,
At the moment i've tried a lot of ROMS for my Optimus 2x
But not all that stable and atm im looking for a stable ROM, not a phone that keeps
Getting random shutdowns or low battery perfomance.
So please share your experience here with your ROMS and tell me which one is the most stable
Greetings,
Micronuub.
this question is here many times.
you have basically 2 choices - stock or cyanogenmiod.
i think the most stable is stock 20q ROM with some better kernel. it only has some problems - few RAM, it becomes laggy after about 120hours of use, but it still works and you can reboot it manually. i dont like when i oversleep in the morning because CM7 ROM randomly, once in month, drains all battery over night and alarm doesnt work in the morning.
if you dont need 100% reliability from stock rom. i recommend 99% reliability of cm7(temasek build) with ram hack kernel.

I dont like to oversleep in the morning cause my phone yet had another random shutdown, I will try CM7 Kang the newest build.
Thanks
Greetings,
Micro.
Hi,
I use DjangoManouche ROM and I can say that it's very great.
Actually I'm testing v1.3beta+Gueste1.6OC.
Fast and smooth.
i tried new one ROM, but it not all that stable for my 2X.
Now i use ROM Nova HD RC17-30.
What version?
Use Temasek KANG builds until Tegra binaries are popped out for cm9 work
Hello,
Try the v20q by flix123 plus the v20q pack. I think it's taking the stock roms to another level of stability and performance. You can put the spica1234's sr3r2 on top plus the pp10r and you have smooth, long lasting stock experience!
The gueste kernel is also very. very good.
I also suggest is to reboot the phone after each flash because with me it reboots when i enter the market if i put in there more than one flashing at once.
cheers
I am using alien revolution 2.1 FINAL
fast
stable
good battery life
no random reboots
smooth

How to flash DM if I'm using G.Hybrid Revolution?
After install DJ, is it necessary to flash kernel?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24850782
Install as usual with cwm. It will be start aroma installer on which you can choose option, like kernel, with GUI.
Also choose full wipe.

[Q] I need a stable AOSP room with good battery life, can you help?

THIS IS URGENT
I'm in dire need of help, this is for my gf's phone,
It all started when she was suffering with lack of space on her phone, so I tought well, AOSP roms occupy less space so I went and installed a Maclaw's rom, the one with CM10.2, she says it phone have a battery life of 1 to 3 hours with this rom, so I tried a CM11 rom and she now has a decent battery life but with constant reboots.
The thing is she is going on a 20 day trip tomorrow with her family and I wanna give her something stable with a good battery life, I dont care if its AOSP or stock based actually, I just want something stable until she gets back and I can deal with that situation. If its an AOSP based better, but I need a stable one with a good batery life, something that wont leave her hanging by a thread when she is on the road, please help!

idk i dont feel that glitch just a normal rom XD.
CM 10.2 and CM 11 are working flawlessly and completely bug-free. You shouldn't get any reboots nor a poor battery life. I'm getting about 12-14 hours of intense use with kitkat.
Slimrom is not so optimized as cm 11, which is actually the last and more up-to-date rom that maclaw realeased. Try again. Are you following all the steps? Try a clean install, format system, data, cache, and dalvik-cache. Or you could just simply flash odin. Tell us how it went later

Can someone help?
One of my attempts to solve, was to install a custom kernel.
It did not solve everything, but it helped.
Hi.
Installing custom kernel will not solved everything.
U should install Better Battery Stats to find out misbehaving apps which may have drain yr battery.
Cheers..
