Here is the lockscreen mod, power menu AND additional clock options for KC1, ported from whitehawkx SGS4G release.
- Lockscreen (rotary, puzzle, android, glass, epic and star wars
- Power Menu (Reboot, recovery and download mode)
- Clock Options - hide clock and hide am/pm (Settings > Date and Time)
- Added "Stay Awake" option (Settings > Applications > Development)
NOTE: This MOD will only work with Stock KC1 and it will not work with other KC1 based ROM (modification needed).
Special thanks to whitehawkx for providing the original MOD and did most of the work. I only fixed the storage mount point to make it work with regular Vibrant.
Updated 5/4/2011
Everything listed above should work without any issue. I've tested and was able successfully mount SD cards on PC. The only problem this mod has is "Settings > SD card and phone storage" doesn't show internal SD. I tried to get that working but it made Clock Options and Lockscreen to FC.
I also forgot to remove 4G icon .. so it doesn't mean that you have 4G connection.

Just Got a new one for $100 dollars. Let the flashing begin. LOL!
No go on the lockscreen.
Update: They do work thanks again dr. honk!
dr honk, where did you get the Accurate % battery + Lockscreen + PowerMenu
for the ukkb5...
Ok I spoke 2 soon the lockscreens work, but storage card won't mount to PC via USb. Stays on debugging message in notification dropdown.
My external doesn't show up at all, I flashed the lockscreen mod before the first boot even so I wasn't sure if it was the lockscreen mod or T959VUVKC1...
I may have missed one smali ... I'll get that fix. Sorry ..

Rome wasn't built in a day! I have been really enjoying your v4g rom ports, I keep flashing back and forth, the lock screens tilt the scales though
not trying to be inpatient here, best new clean rom to come along in a while, sure would be nice to have a lock screen/power menu that was working!

Sorry guys .. was busy with other things. I just now have KC1 installed on my phone again ... so will work on it this afternoon.
Fix is posted, everything works except for storage view in settings. Everything else should work though.
Sorry for the wait guys ..
While I'm waiting for the ICS MIUI release by TJ_Style or someone else,
I played around with GB MIUI 2.2.3... And this is an answer for they who asked me to post my modified MIUI. Finally I got bandwidth to upload it
I am not an android developer, my knowledge is very limited, I just tried to make my android phone more comfortable for me. By posting this, hope you like it either.
It seems everything works just like MIUI 1.11.11, I just add some features on 2.2.3. And for GPS... It can locked in seconds.
Here's what I've added:
- SpeedDeemon Kernel v5.0
- Ads blocker hosts included
- ICS Lockscreen
- ICS themed keyboard
- ICS open/close window effect
- Modified theme based on Black Ice theme as default
- MIUIv4 theme (an option if you're not comfortable with dark theme)
- My Google splash screen
- 4 Way boot
- Spareparts tools
- Compass
- google maps streetview
- CM7 camera beside MIUI camera
- Angry GPS
- SD card tweak ( to make read sdcard faster )
- Sony Bravia Engine
- Some additional sounds
- etc...
Removed:
- MIUI talk
- MIUI status
For haptic feedback, you've to set manually.
Search button => Menu => Search settings => tick ON for Settings and go back to Search then type "Tweak", open "Haptic feedback tweaks" and do the setting in "Set Down Patern" only.
Credits:
MIUI credit goes to MIUI devs
SDKernel credit goes to Austrie
BlackIce theme credit goes to cgvelmax
Icons credit goes to foreverone
other modules & libraries goes to TJ_Style & Issac87
And others (Sorry I forgot)...
You can get it at here and flash it using CWM.
Apply update-patch-miui-2.2.3-CKr1u1.zip file attached to solve alarm setting issue and change audio library.
Attached DSP Manager if you need it.
For MIUI Extended Settings mod, you can flash this update and follow by installing this MIUISettings application. Thanks to Free Radical for the file.
Native Wifi tether still not working. You can use this Wireless Tether from Market as I always use it even native wifi is working , just suggestion.
Applying directly from RC3 and Sharp rom will not work. You have to apply it from other rom (RC1, RC2, other stock, CM7 and other MIUI will work).
Wipe data right after flash is a strong suggestion, so the rom will has the fresh space to work and won't find the weird things that isn't has to be.
* After get the first boot, wait until the system settled and then reboot again. The second boot actually is the first fresh boot!
I am not responsible for any damages (bricking/phone ruining) occurred while flashing or using this ROM. By using this ROM, you understand that I am not liable for any or all consequences of using this ROM. If you don't know what you're doing, DON'T TRY IT.
Upgrade/Downgrade tips for MIUI users:
* Always make backup, here is the options:
- Nandroid backup (This is the best options, but takes time and large sdcard space)
- MIUI BackUp + Titanium backup
With MIUI BackUp you can backup all your settings of your MIUI, including messages, Settings,
dektop layout, call logs, Contacts and else, but I suggest you not to backup Contacts (Just do online
synchronize to google) you will get double contacts when restored and get synchronize automatically,
pick one you like. You can backup apps with MIUI Backup but Titanium Backup much better.
Prefer not to backup Theme Setting for integrated MIUI Theme, except you use the exported one in
your SD card.
* You can do it without wipe data, but the suggestion to do so.
* Do wipe cache for sure
* If you do wipe data, reboot twice right after flashed, at the first boot the miui will do
a lot works to make it settle, the second boot will be the first fresh boot after all.
* If you used MIUI backup to backup MIUI Settings and you will restore it, do restoring applications
at first followed by restoring Miui settings. And DO NOT backup and restore Wifi Settings, it will make
boot loop.
* As like other roms, battery calibration is something you should do right after flashed a new rom. Here is the simple step to do it:
After your battery very low (as low as you can ), charge it until really full (about 4.2 V) without
interrupted then wipe your battery status at CWM, and use it until the battery drained and again
charge it until really full without interrupted.
Nice one Cal ..... will give it a try

Native Wifi Tether worked perfectly for me on MIUI11111+your update. Will revert post flashing this ver.
Update - There seems to be some problem in this ver for Native WIFI Tether, On Switching ON, it displays "turning on' for a long time, then there is no confirmation if it has turned on or not, no orange WIFI ICON displaying tether is on, however my laptop is able to detect ANDROIDAP but connects with limited access ???? Was not able to browse through in any case.
This was working perfectly on the earlier MIUI+your update.
Overall good effort, nice to have the Spare Parts option like in CM. I have been on MIUI for a long time now and it has become my daily use ROM. Any updates will be most definitely be welcome !
Update 2 - Cac, There seems to be some issue with WIFI (not sure if it is due to issues at my end, checking thoroughly in any case) . Displays WIFI MAC as unavailable on checking in Status
everytime i try to enter clock and edit alarm, the phone will enter reboot looped
The improve is bluretooth and the framerate of video recording

Yes for me you are correct, I am also having incoming call volume issue(let's call it ICVI for short). But I have had ICVI ever since i bought the device and moved to MIUI. None of the MIUI builds or fixes including tasker have helped this. So I am living with it.

Hi all!
Sharing core modification made by Sergey1369 from 4pda.ru.
Translate of original post from 4pda:
feature list of modded stock core 20a(b):
1. added g-recovery.
g-recovery is almost like e-recovery, but it should work even if system can not be mounted.
2. Integrated WiFi module from 20N
This must solve a problem with incorrect WiFi signal indication.
3. Added ext4 support.
4. Disabled LG DVFS. SetCPU or similar apps works fine on P970.
5. LED of soft buttons works like on 2.2.2 (dim after 5 sec of inactivity)
6. Should work on 20b and 20n based ROMs.

And few bonuses:
Huexx's diana core from Zeus 4.0.2 with dim LED lights and g-recovery.
Modded stock core with no dim LED lights (like stock 20x)
Modded stock core without LED light (allways off)
Install it with CWM.
All credits to Sergey1369 and Huexx! I just reposted it
links:

Great job, man. I flashed the first zip and it works! LED lights are after 5 sec still ON (dimmed) as with froyo. Thanks.

what do u mean when you say led lights are after 5 secs still on as on froyo, I dont know what this will do if I flash it , sry about nooby question but I m seeing this very helpfull for some ppl
Yah I 2nd that the description is abit vague but went ahead and flashed the first one anyway lol
For the first link its basically that the four buttons lights don't switch off but gets dimmed like with froyo
So I'm guessing the third link leaves the lights on without the slight dim
I'm still wondering what I have to flash to get the g button to go to recovery

Great job, but please - always link to the original post!
Next thing - is it safe to use it on V20N, since it's V20B kernel?
Awesome job. I'm not able to test this patch atm but I've got an idea/thought. Since the leds work now, does the LG Notifications App work too?
(Maybe I'm completely wrong but it's a long shot worth to try)
Nice share.
That's the question, I think that LG notifications should work right now...
The bad part of this is that all the feature are inside the same binary, g-recovery... that means that g-recovery binary actually is g-recovery+deactivateLGDVFS+light dim, etc... and IMHO I would prefer to take this things separately...
Regards.

Guys, it is not my stuff, I'll try to know some details.
All I know is that core was compiled from the sources shared by LG.
About g recovery Sergey says:
g-recovery as opposed to eRecovery is a binary embedded in the kernel (initrd),
so should work even if the partition /system can not be open

Well, g-recovery is a binary that works very well, it's better that e-recovery and faster.
Leds behaviour and DVFS thing is related to kernel itself... so that forces us to use that kernel to get the leds working like we want...
The best would be to know the sources of this.
Regards.
This ROM is CyanogenMod 10.2 (loosely based on nightlies, but precisely it's whatever is on the cm-10.2 branch at the time I decide to build it).
You can flash from my CM 10.1 or official CM 10.1 or official CM 10.2 without wiping data.
Main features:
More hardware adjustment than stock or official CM (e.g. torch brightness, backlight brightness, etc.)
QuickMemo
HALO
Bluetooth GPS

20130814.1 uploaded.
This gives the button backlight, HALO settings and Bluetooth GPS settings again.
Also updated the kernel with change from @Adam77Root to allow both volume keys to wake the phone.
I don't have plans for ParanoidAndroid since I use CyanogenMod, but adapting the patches should be fairly straightforward and I'm happy to help if someone wants to do it.

was trying Eternity ROM 10.2 before flashing this.
Wiped data and cache. Flashed it twice. Oops noticed a couple of other feedbacks and its working for them
This rom works fine for me. but I got only one problem. Some "search stopped working" error is showing all the time.
I cant use it on daily bases, I really dislike TV Rotation problem on all CM based roms (CM Problem of-course) and after changing MANY roms factory based and CM based I noticed that all CM based are same (kind of )except AVATAR rom which is heavily themed (good thing-do) and camera performance is very low on all CM.
So the idea of usiing this sort of roms on a dally bases FOR ME is absurd.
Also I dont want to be rude and dissapoint any of the developers, and I always show my gratitude to them all.
I am willing to find some GREAT 4.3 CM Rom in the future. thanks to the developers!
OK, I used Tegra Overclock on Arararagi's previous ROM. With this new ROM I notice two things:
- CPU lowest used frequency is 340 MHz, it doesn't throttle lower even though I have chosen 104 (or something) as lowest in Tegra Overclock.
- GPU maximum used frequency is 416 MHz.
Can you verify this Arararagi?

Awesome :good:
I tried it, both on clean install and a dirty flash, getting bootloops on both occasions.
Edit:
Managed to get it working, only bug I see is that the app permissions popups are broken, can't click them. Instead, I set permissions through the app settings screen.
Works great for me! Seems even more stable. Netflix always crashed on the RR rom. Only thing missing is hifi audio. (hm maybe netflix crashing was related to that being enabled?)

This permission issue caused by GooglePackageInstaller which replaces stock PackageInstaller during gapps installation.
Remove it from gapps during install or replace by hands with stock one (packageinstaller located in /system/priv-app)
New AICP N 12.0 build changelog:
* Video recording issue fixed
* RIL stability improved
* HiFi settings implemented
DL link at 1st page.
If you flashing on top of previous AICP version with GooglePackageInstaller removed by hands be sure to push default PackageInstaller at /system/priv-app before reboot into newly installed rom (backup-restore script will try to preserve google apps during rom installation and since GoogleInstaller was removed it will install nothing while stock PackageInstaller will be removed) or rom will not boot.
Or try to remove /system/addon.d/70-gapps.sh before flashing and reflash gapps again after rom installation.
thank you !
Wow. This is great man!
Are you gonna focus on this or are you gonna work on this and Resurrection Remix?
Hi, @faust93 Hi on AICP n build 20161015 I cant change from 2g to 3g or to 4g ,I only get 2g gsm network .Also Livedisplay and battery text do not working .Also I cant find a way to change the volume steps for music to 60 on the setting.
Edit- after replacing the sim to the sim 1 trey 2g ,3g and lte are working when I use the code *#*#4636#*# ,but putting the sim on the sim trey 1 prevent me for using the sd card slot.
Additionally, on 20161015 - I can't connect to my network... had to revert to the backup.
Edit: after restoring the backup, I still have no network @faust93, I'd be very happy if you could address the network issue...

Well.. I have totally inversed behavior! I'm using only one sim + sdcard too. But before 1015 build I was not able to change network to anything except 2g.. Weird..
About another features you mentioned - they are do not working for now, just settings knobs. Waiting for CM team to implement..
