Hi guys! I really need help on this... I'm on Claro Colombia and a update popup window have appeared but when i tried the installation from system gave me error, next I have copied the zip of ota update to my sd and tried to installed manually from recovery but first failed on sha1 checksum on phonesky (play store), easily solved downloading a same sha1 version of this file, after that was a build.prop sha1 checksum error which I still are looking for resolve (I have made many changes to build.prop). I'm on locked boot loader, rooted 8.7.1|-110_SML-13 firmware but unfortunately there isn't a official ICS release for Claro Colombia on sbf developers, but there is two 8.7.1 firms from Claro Peru and Claro Chile, don't know if I could use those two to extract build.prop and how to extract from system_signed file or if this could work as well...

Hello everybody, these days I was helping my friend doing the installation of a Brazil Retail Firmware 4.4.4 on his XT1097 which came with Claro Brazil firmware, the objective was remove the link with Claro. We did the installation by the Prompt, but something strange happened in the flash of gpt, however others partitions passed with no problems. In the end the smartphone rebooted but continued with Claro firmware. We tried to install the new firmware three times but anything change! Could someone help?

rename the file in custom in dload, after you put it in the microSD card, and launches the updater update, repeat the same for the second file dload, and update again

yes, first time folder custom (renamed to dload, local update, reboot, 100% success), second time folder dload (local update, reboot, 100% success)
Phone seems working without problems, it's strange; Someone can upload the update package (329MB) when downloaded so i can try another local update and (maybe) reset the updater?

My installation fails at 0% all the time on my b170 single sim. Any suggestions?
Well, I own a CRR-L09 Swisscom branded device(vendor=Vodafone/country=ch), updated first to unbranded LP B145, now on MM B321 and all good so far except for LTE band 4 not working on my carrier(Claro) while it does on other carrier, obviously on same band.
So my question is: If the firmware version I´m using now is good for both Vodafone/ch and hw/eu, is it safe to simply use 004´s oeminfo.img tool to change that file only? Then I´d change /data/custom.bin,too.
Thanks in advance.
P.S.: It would be very nice if someone could share an oeminfo file from hw/eu B303/B321 device. It is located in /dev/block/platform/hi_mci.0/by-name/ (ES explorer w/root access needed).
Hello,
I have a PRA-LX1 C432 unbranded and the updater keep saying I have the latest official update B170.
Using HFF we can see B181, 183 and 191 for C432 model. But... making a system dump of these builds we can see that there is in build.prop "generic_15" as phone model...
So I didn't install anything...
- Are the builds from HFF trustables ??
- Is there a way to force the update?
thanks!

But there are more than one build 181, do you know which one you installed ?
your device name continues to be PRA-LX1 or moved to "generic_15" ?
Anything consistent in this update ?
thanks

Any instructions how to flash with ff?
Hello everyone, I need a little help. I bought a MiA2 in October 2018, which unlocked the bootloader, installed the Magisk module and changed the line of code through build.prop to get the Camera2Api. I was stuck in the November 2018 update and would like to know, in your opinion what would be the best method for me to have my device updated again and consequently get Android 9 installed?

Download the latest flashable from miui roms
http://en.miui.com/download-353.html
which is 10.0.8.0, clean flash it via Mi tool and after update via ota to 10.0.9.0. Important is at mi flash to check clean all not clean all and relock also not keep data because u r changing from oreo to pie. Other solution is to restore original boot.img, factory reset (because changing from oreo to pie) and update via ota to pie. You have to restore boot.img by flashing original boot.img via fastboot and not by magisk because causes bootloop. I think the clean flash is the better solution.
