So I have sucessfully installed CM 10.1 to my Kindle Fire HD 7". I have also flashed the Google Apps jb-20130301-signed. I am able to access the Play Store and DL games. None of them seem to work. For example Candy Crush opens and the music plays, but when I tap Play! the game locks up and does nothing. When I tap the angry birds icon it turns the screen black and eventually says its not responding. Also, sometimes when installing a game from the Play Store I click install and it locks up the store. I must reset the device to gain access to the store again.
I've tried to wipe and reinstall both the CM and Apps. I've searched the forums and the only real thing I can find is verifying the correct version of the Google Apps ROM is installed. Any suggestions?

This is a bug associated with cm10.1 and has been an ongoing fix with Hashcode until he releases a new release with more fixes, most games will force close. Also try to reinstall ROM and gapps and wipe dalvik cache, cache, factory reset, and internal sd

I run Candy Crush and other applications on my CM10.1 (07/18 release) without a problem. The only issue I have is with a Taxi app, but it's of so little significance I haven't bothered to research it.
Have you upgraded to that version yet? When you do the upgrade, make sure you use TWRP and wipe the cache.

Hello there, XDA Members,
Ever since I've updated my market to play, whenever I'm trying to download anything free (like "temple run"), there's the error- "Error processing purchase".
When I try to buy app, it says:"-app name- couldn't be downloaded due to an error (403)".
I've tried to switch from ICSSGS RC4.2 to Docs Master ICS V6 rom, tries to wipe everything, dalvik cache, regular cache, market cache, market data, my gmail account from the phone, proxy settings in the APN settings, e-v-e-r-y damn thing!
Alas, it just refuses to work.
Thank you all for quick, helpful answers,
harrym17.
Just clear data for Play store and Google services framework then reboot and it will work.
Hi!
I've the same trouble and it's not depending on our devices or the ROMs,it's a issue of Google that will be solved on these days
You can try to download the apps until you can download it.
Hi!
This has a very simple solution. I was facing this issue sometime back. Go to the apps list in your phone and do a clear data on the google play store app. restart your phone and login to google play again. This will not effect your purcahsed apps history as this is linked to your gmail ID

I tried this, didn't work. Any more suggestions?
Ok, then try the recovery mode, wipe cache and dalvik cache. Hopefully this should work.

Hi there,
I performed a search but could not find any solution or anyone that has this same problem.
LG-P970g V20j running CM10.1 (Nightly-p970) JB 4.2.2 Kernel V 3.0.8-CM+
Certain games I download seem to be uninstalling them selves. I download the games and can run them no problem. Once I reboot, the icon remains yet when I try to open the game, it says "app not installed"...
If I check my apps list, sure enough, they are now missing. As a test I downloaded another different game and it remained installed after reboot and opened no problem.
It's only with certain games this problem occurs. Some of the specific games I know of that have this issue is Minecraft, Tupsu, Pinball Arcade and Offworld, just to name a few. Some other games that still work fine and remain installed after reboot are Angry Birds, Bad Piggies, Hill climb racing, Uno-free, SuperGnes emulator and Vector.
I tried reflashing the 4.2.2 Gapps zip. as well a clearing data, then reboot. Nothing seems to work. I install the games, they run fine. Then, after a reboot, I go to play them again, click on the icon and I get a message "app not installed". So confused...
Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Mike.
Edit: Also wanted to mention that I have an Asus Transformer TF101 tablet that I recently rooted and also installed CM10.1 jb 4.2.2 (Thanks to the geniuses here on Xda! ). It's working great as well and I can run those same games with zero issues. I can reboot and they all remain installed and run without any problems.

Any other ways to get around this?
Thanks.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll do some more reading up on that ROM and maybe give it a go. :good:
I installed the 10.1-20130812-Nightly-ovation as outlined in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317500 on my Nook HD+ tablet.
I only see the Google Play besides the stock Android apps. None of the gapps are installed (gmail, youtube, googlemap). If I try to install them and some other third party apps form the google play, I get the "Package file is invalid" error message. I can install apps like netflix, google maps, Vevo and such. so the problem is not isolated to just gapps but majority of the gapps aren't installing.
And yes I did clear the cache and such. I even completely wiped and reinstalled everything with no avail. Same problem! I would appreciate your help.
Known issue with the Play Store at the moment http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/0...-when-installing-or-updating-apps-no-fix-yet/
Has anyone tried an older CM build? My wife had a build from June and her play store was working ok, although the package file error seems to happen after downloading a lot for me whenever I reload.
After installing the universal root for my Nook HD, Youtube no longer opens. I am on stock 2.2.0 and also have the side load installation activated. When I try to open Youtube I get a message stating, "Unfortunately, YouTube has stopped.". I tried clearing clearing the application cache and data, uninstalling the Youtube updates, deleting Youtube with root explorer and then reinstalling it from the playstore and I have reset the Nook many times. Should I wipe the cache and dalvik cache in recovery? I saw someone on the Kindle Fire HD thread mention reinstalling loginservices.apk, but I can't find it on my Nook. Does anyone know of a solution to this? Thanks!

Yeah, Playstore is registered. I just cleared the data and cache for the Playstore and then registered it, but I get the same result for the Youtube app.

Whelp, I just figured it out. I had to place a check mark next to both "YouTube" and "Google Settings" under "Manage Content" for other profiles.
Thanks for your help leapinlar.
Anyone else getting these types of errors or know a fix? I just updated my Play Store to 6.2.13.A-all [0] 2655766 but was still getting these errors on the previous version.
The first picture below is an attempt to update an already installed app, Ultimate Guitar Tabs & Chords. The second picture is an attempt to install a new app to my device, Stack.
These errors occur sometimes on other app installations and updates, not just these two. The troubleshoot link option provides no solutions. I've already tried clearing all Play Store data and cache, wiped the cache from my recovery, and ran CCleaner. Uninstalling updates fixes the issue but the Play Store automatically updates to the latest version. I want to run the latest version anyways. Anyone else run across this issue?

Didn't work.
Try this I suppose
Happening to me now. Seems to only affect the apps that I've moved to the SD card. Uninstalled the updates to Google Play Store and cleared the data and cache without success.
Unmount the sd card before installing or updating the app that causes the error
