The past 3-4 days these 2 apps has stopped working.When I open the Google play it sais always to refresh and as many times I try it it doesn't change.Also when I try to connect to my YouTube account it sais there was a problem with the network.I have tried them to several wifis and nothing changes...I think that the gmail is the problem because if I go to settings it always sais failed to sync...
Did anyone else have this problem?How can I solve it?
Also if I use the stock internet explorer I can access to gmail,YouTube and Google play.

Hi, i have a problem. I`ve tried to play zynga poker using my tab, but i cannot login using my fb account. But if i login through the regular fb for android, it succesfully login. It`s the same thing that happen if i tried to used other application that require fb connection. I`ve been stuck with this problem since i had galaxy spica.
Is there anyone can explain what went wrong? Or any post related to this problem?

Ok so ive been using my htc for a while geting use to it, deciding if i should or shouldnt rom it anyways, facebook...
i want it to update the contacts photos when there in my contact list and sometimes it cant even find the contact.. so any ideas?
ive tryed a fix i saw it. when i go to updates and events...with all of the install..well.. Its freezes my phone and i have to turn it off
Facebook is not so well integrated with Windows, you have to manually select a friend and link their account with Facebook if their names don't match.
Are you using stock ROM? If yes, there was some update provided by HTC few months ago.
Not sure if something else is your problem.

When I first setup my phone I enabled auto sync for gmail. It was working fine up until a few days ago when I realized I was not getting my emails. I have to go in an manually refresh to get any emails. Anyone have a fix for this?
I am a total noob to this forum (yes I watched the video), and have not been able to find a thread addressing this. I found a few posted last year about similar problems on other devices, but none for the Droid 3. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Go to the home screen, click the menu button, click Settings, click Accounts, click your Gmail account, make sure Gmail is checked. The Phantom of Android sometimes unchecks things on it's own, don't ask me why, but see if this helps.

Thanks for the response. I tried that, but I still have to manually sync to get my emails. I tried unchecking and rechecking every option for sync and nothing seems to work. Do you think it has anything to do with maildroid? I also use maildroid for my business email, and was wandering if that could possibly interfere with gmail? This is very frustrating.

I'm having issues with my Google account sync.
Google Play Music is causing my account to have a sync error.
I get the error message:

And there is a sync icon with an exclamation point (!) by Google Play Music, when I press into my Google Account in Settings.
It's been like this for a few days now and I feel it's affecting my battery life, as the failed sync re-tries again and again.
Some forums have suggested disabling 2-step verification, removing the Google account and then adding it back, clearing app cache, etc.
I've done it all with no success.
For what it's worth, if I un-check the Google Play Music sync box and run the "Sync Now," sync all, their are no errors and the UI shows a successful sync icon.
I'm not sure what's going on here.

Try removing your Google account and then add it back. That sometimes fixes it.

I just came across your post from a Google search and thought I would post my solution. This literally happened to me today out of nowhere(never had a problem before) and it totally stumped and frustrated me to no end. I tried cache reset, factory reset, all that bulls**t and it didn't work.
This is how I finally got sync to work:
>>login into your Google account from a web browser eg: google.com, play.google.com, wherever
>>in the upper right corner go to where it shows your profile info, click on your picture, and click Account
>>on the next screen click Security
>>where it says Account Permissions click View All
>>you have 2 choices: you can revoke access on everything you see or just extra devices. Personally, I had 4 Droid DNA's and 4 Nexus 7's listed from where I've done factory resets or ROM installs and I had to reauthorize my Google account. All I did was revoke access for the ones that said "no activity in the past 60 days". Within seconds Google Play was already auto-updating apps on my phone, I couldn't believe it.
This may not work for you but it's how I got it to work. Good luck.

Has anybody experienced this issue? My gmail is not giving email notifications on wifi until I open the actual app. This is not happening on lte.

Yes!I have experienced this Issue.Just Reboot the phone it will solve the problem.If it doesn't solve the problem clear the app data and login again.It will definitely Solve th issue.
Btw Other Google apps working w/wifi?
I've had this same problem, however along with this issue it would also reset my account settings for all of the email accounts I had linked with it. For example, it would change Sync emails from: All to Last Week. Had to reinstall the app to fix this.
