Rom miui beta 2,1

Hi all
I'm using this since 4 days and every day i like it more.
Only one thing, icons are very small in screen. How can i change or select another screen resolution?

Second there is already a "MIUI port" thread at Android development subforum, read there, and maybe there is already a solution for your query, if not, don't be afraid and ask in there.

yes, they are in 2.6.

I am in v2.5 because is good for me I try v2.6,but it is not smoother than v2.5,even with the huexxx kernel

nice work, hopefully this site can get cleaned up,, got a n00b question as im new to android slang, what does aosp and aokp mean and whats the difference and which one is best,,
and and and, how long till we see a myth 2 beta release, i wish i could test for u guys

I just extracted a cm7 theme with apk manager..edited it and zipped it usin apk manager..do i also have to sign that apk?

AOSP- Android Open Source Project
AOKP- Android Open Kang Project
AOSP is pure android,no tw,no sense,just android,if you want the real feel of android and want better battery life and better perfomance,then its AOSP
AOKP is modified ICS,with a few good features.It is a nice rom and has great potential but could be pushed into 2nd place when CM9 gets fully merged.
Devilsking is still making it,and you shouldnt ask ETAs

Not necessary,but no harm done if you sign it.

Also 1 more..is it necessary to optimize images (in apkmanager) after editing that apk?

ok thanks, i had a feeling the aosp was pure android,
wow still and its still ot stable enough for beta release, its was only a question lol,,, so myth 2 is going to be a heavily themed and modded stock rom???

If all you've done is put a theme on stock, then why isn't this in the themes section? Plus everything you've compiled is made by others! Doesn't really deserve a place in the dev section...

Hello,
You have + or - due, but to my knowledge, almost every rom on XDA have used elements developed by Ace of Android ! and made to personalize the Rom.
Power extended menu, Lidroid, Kernel, systemUI .....
Some elements are created by me and others of making dispositoon here and remodeled.
But if my rom should be in 'Themes' there should be much beings also, because they also used these elements.
For the wallpaper base it is true that I forget to add the apk Walppaper!
NB: I also put on the XDA element created by me for use as shared by others, and I also take advantage of this trade ..

Fair enough he's making an effort but this doesn't deserve a place in the dev section. It's a (ugly) theme simple as that with a few apps that anyone could install themselves. If anyone could knock this up in 10 minutes then why does it need it's own thread in the dev section?!

I have often tested the rom on XDA other compiler both on S2 S3, there are certainly better! but also the worst.
If you think this is a work of some hours you're dead wrong, I worked more than 10 days on this rom and if you can do better? shows us.
When style, has all their tastes and colors .. it is not required to test if you do not like!
Put other Lauchers this everybody can do it, then great .... This is an other style.
If for you it is not pretty, it's your opinion! but not a general opinion.
BUT if others feel that I have not my place in this section, I will delete my post.
NB: My last rom for Galaxy S2, downloaded over 400 times! if it was a bad job and ugly so why use a 400 times Pyrana rom? And my first rom S3 A5 downloaded 50 times (On 10 days!) But on Fomum French ..not on XDA

I think its time, to make my android to look cool. But, i hate gb. Jb is so awesome, but performance...

Nahh... i like GB, it's stable on Mini, also don't store so much RAM. I don't really hate JB, but i hate memory usage.

It ain't that bad. I get about 100 MB free ram even after using same ROM for three weeks and still that buttery smooth.

If do a simple cm7 rom with minimal look??? Hmm, i think its possible.

Or maybe create a totally new ui now wont that be awesome using squadzones backported features from cyanmobile and create a new ui that's not a copy of Joseph or windows ....or maybe I am thinking too much

CyanogenMod 7.2 - BroadcomCM Beta 4[Buglist]

Still There Is Lots Of Bugs In CyanogenMod 7.2
In Beta 4 Version Some Of The Apps Are Getting Force Close,Camera Bug Still There,Sometimes Phone Gets Hanged,Sometimes Earphone Won't Work.
Lots Of Graphical Glitches.
Music Player Doesn't Play Some Of Songs.
Sometimes Shows White Screen While Taking Screenshots.
