Wanted to share with you a flashable zip I made which deletes the stock ICS LG Browser (which in my opinion sucks) and replaces it with google's AOSP ics browser. Its lighter, has a darker UI and I only tried it for a few hours but I can say its quite snappy and smooth.
I'll atach two flashables, AOSP and LG (in case you want to return to that crappy LG stuff... lol)
But dude the stock LGBrowser is fast and nice!I think its more suitable to upload a full black version only?Just Sayin

Oh well... I hate LG and all the crappy software he makes
So I prefer to keep my phone as close to stock google's ics as possible.
Anyways I assure you this is even faster and nicer ^^

Just try it and let me know what you guys think =)
There are many system apps you can get from an old CM9 unofficial build. They work on IZS, I've done it before (I did it on IZS v0.4).
Sms, gallery, android browser, calculator, calendar (I think), and I can't remember more xD

On IZS v0.4 yes, it works fine (I don't know if it works on IZS v1.1, because I no longer use IZS)
But pop-up notification is only on JB.
thx man it's really better

Touchwiz calculator taken from the leaked GalaxyS 2.3.2 ROM.
I changed the icon to our aosp icon because I hate the touchwiz icon, but love the calculator.
You need to install this either via clockwork mod, or adb push (if you extract the .apk)

Thanks! The samsung calculator was awesome on my vibrant. Too bad the video and music player wouldn't port over so easily.
Thanks for the upload! The calculator is great.

The calc is great. Any way of making this so that it doesn't have to by adb pushed or cw flashed? This is because it takes over the original in-built system calculator correct?
Where did you download the leak? (Galaxy S 2.3)
Can i get a link?
I keep getting fcs on this after CS flash.

I tried using this launcher when the system dump got out from the nexus s 4g, the graphics....at least the app icons, look like crap so I went back to adwex.
The icons look fine when its on the nexus, but on the epic it doesnt look good.
Use two different launchers and switch between them, you will be able to tell the difference.
Icons are a little distorted not enough to not make me use it though....It runs smoother than the stock TW launcher and the TW 4.0 launcher.....I use zeam launcher too which works great but I have had no issues...the icons aren't
as crisp as above stated...but to each his own.

Should work without root as it is just a Launcher replacement. It is not the actual ICS launcher but one this company made from the various screenshots that have been released. The same company makes a honeycomb launcher as well.
Doesn't work very well. SMS not supported on device, Email force closes, etc. Needs refinement big time. Also would be nice if the icons were replaceable!

The dark orange is hideous. 60 seconds later and I'm back to good old Tapatalk OG.
Oo ya, I agree. I do like the added functionality and more granular settings, but the orange is rough. Also, the read, unread color is kinda confusing. Feel like 'read' should be a grey instead of white.
Nice to see something new though- def gonna stick with it for a bit.

Woke up today to find that Miui is out for the nexus 7 at http://www.miui.com/development.html just click on the orange button under where it says nexus 7 to download it.
Note:That this rom is in chinese and isnt exactly made for nexus 7
For an MIUI.us build please use http://rootzwiki.com/topic/32675-miuius-v4-nexus-7/
And its in Chinese..

I'm a Chinese. This version is really bad, just like an enlargement of the mobile phone.Don't try it.
Sounds like they took he Galaxy Nexus version and ported it over, what a shame they couldn't just rebuild it with the proper size.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
I downloaded it and it's in English. Very poor however. Would not recommend. It's the phone version ported over and NO Google Now.
I hope they make one specifically for the Nexus 7. I love MIUI and would really like a good running version on my N7.
Yeah this is pretty bad.

All good man. At least this is an indication that hopefully soon we'll have a decent MIUI port
This is great news. My port of MIUI wasn't going so well, so hopefully now that the development version is out maybe some people will start fixing the stuff that is wrong with this one!
Hey everyone, has anyone tried to change the LCD density in build.prop?
I flashed another Rom now so I can't test, but I looked into the build.prop on ny computer and found that the density is 320

That's debatable.
But in any case, the Nexus 7 is not exactly a "full tablet". It's more of a "phablet". Even Google didn't implement a full tablet UI.
