Hello guys.
This will be my first LTE phone.
So, I'm asking something. I'm buying this smartphone through expansys http://www.expansys.pt/htc-one
My questions are:
How can I know which LTE type is it?
If I want to flash CyanogenMod 10.2, which one I chose? GSM (i don't think so...), T-mobile, Sprint or AT&T?
I'll be using TMN (a portuguese operator)...
My best regards
It would seem from information on the website you linked that they are supplying the EMEA (European, Middle East & Africa) model.
As shown LTE frequencies:
800/1800/2600 MHz

Thanks both of you!
Another question - What's the difference between "HTC ONE Development" and "HTC ONE ORIGINAL Development" subforums? Which one do I look?

usually AOSP are in the original section it is built from the source and there are no ports in this section. the regular development is for the ROMS based on the OEM skin of android

So the original section is for roms built from the HTC code (with sense, and soever) and the regular section for roms built from Google code?
I'm sorry, but since it's the first time, it's a little bit confusing.

The original section is for roms that the developers compiled from source. (Or really "extraordinary development")
From the "Mandatory rules for original development" -
THIS FORUM IS ONLY FOR RELEASING AND DEVELOPING "ORIGINAL" ROMS AND KERNELS.
"Original" in this sense are only ROMs that are compiled from source, so AOSP, AOKP, CM Versions. Additionally SOME Sense-Roms may be inducted here, if they include truly extraordinary development. This decision is to be made by moderators.
The regular one is for all other stuff.

I've been in the rom flashing world for a while now..but I just recently purchased the HTC ONE.
Going into uni and kinda dont have as much time to mess around as I did.
So can anyone give me a clear answer to as whether the WIND Mobile HTC ONE can flash the roms in the development section? Would I have to change radios or anything after ROM Flash to make my Wind 3G work?(Unlimited data...dont wanna waste that).
To be more specific..i'm just interested in the VIPER and the 4.3 AOSP roms.
Also, would I be able to flash kernels?
My biggest worry is whether I can flash these roms and kernels, and whether I would loose my phone's phone abilities afterwards.
Sorry for the dumb questions..hopefully someone can answer these. thks

I want to know this as well. I found a post but the answer wasn't that great. I used the t-mobile Roms on my Wind Note 2HTC one as used other gsm Roma on it as well. So I'm guessing it T-Mobile roms work on the htc as well. But that forum seems dead and there are not any forums dedicated to unbricking the Wind HTC one so that's why I'm just waiting for a confirm.
P.s do you know where to download the HTC One wind radio from?

I've tried Viper, Android Revolution (Sense / GPe), and CM 10.2 (AOSP 4.3). They all work on the Wind version of the HTC One (which is exactly the same version as the T-Mobile variant except with a different CID).

No idea, haven't tried yet. I'm assuming you can since everything else works.

This isn't for the faint of heart. If you're worried, then don't do it.

This forum. The generic HTC one forum. I think the following links will clear up some confusion on the various variants:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2223236
http://android-revolution-hd.blogspot.com/2013/04/htc-one-variants-update.html
In case you're TL;DR you can flash any UL Rom (except Sprint).

the specs listed on the main page are for the GSM version, just making sure
No. This is for the GSM version only. Do not flash anything that you find here.

Nope...sorry...right now our bootloader is locked preventing any customs.
Was kind of expecting that, I believe that the S4 still never had the boot loader unlocked. So, does not look promising for the S5.

Its been a long time since Marshmallow is out.
I've been waiting for a long time.
But I couldn't find ant Custom ROM for Marshmallow supporting my device.
It'll be great help if anyone could develop a ROM or give link to one.
Thank you!

They don't support HTC one Dual SIM.
That was the reason I started this new thread!

Do you have unlocked bootloader and TWRP for your Snapdragon Note 8? Exynos does.
By the way, this question will probably be moved to another section.

Ignorant much?
Just read in the forums and you'll realize why.

Want custom rom options, don't buy a Snapdragon. Nothing new, been this way for the past few generation Samsung phones.
BTW Q&A threads aren't allowed in this section.
