I didn't know google designs/develops android directly for lg phones.
Strange thing. Google develops for its Nexus but I've never heard that they develop for LG.

The software is made by Google, ported by a 3rd party on behalf of LG and then distributed on LG phones is the most likely explanation

no, more likely: software made by google, ported by lg, customized and distributed sometimes by carrier.

In some countries people cannot find Skype on the Market. I'm not 100% sure but there are probably limitations... Anyway, it is easy to workaround them using MarketEnabler.

will this version is sama as the market version? cus when i using my existing skype, the front camera will be freeze after a few second ... was this is because of skype compatibility issue or the Gtab software issue ? appreciate someone can help ... thanks.
Skype doesnt support video on the Galaxy tab because they claim Froyo doesnt give access to the front camera. This is BS though, because there are many other apps that do.
Try Clearsea. Works great and there is a PC client too.

I totally agree with you. A hacked version of skype works well with FFC though rotation still needs to be worked on: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1153285
Does anyone know how to modify the OS to report that the phones one of the very poor selection the lazy people at skype could be bothered to make it work with?
Or would it require a mod to the app itself (same question who knows how to do this?)

Yep. Can confirm. Crashes a couple of seconds after you hit Sign in.
The problem is that the contained native code .so's seem to contain NEON instructions which the Tegra 2 can't execute.

Are you able to make video calls?
Nope, I couldnt find any option for video call, but the audio call is working fine.

someone PLEASE fix this. i will donate or whatever. but i really want this to work. gd it. whats the point of releasing a new version that SAYS video calls in the new version and there is no video call option in it. whoever released it was missing the idea behind this update :/

If everyone took that attitude, XDA forums and the like wouldn't exist because we'd all be sat waiting for HTC / LG / Skype etc to update software...
These forums exist because the developer community can usually make things work better than the software vendors or before the software vendors.
This has already been hacked to work on the Galaxy S and S2.......

Hi All,
I'm the dev of the app Venmo WP.
I had to rebrand due to copyright infringement issues with Venmo/Ebay. But fear not, I'm submitting the app to the store in the next couple of days under the brand Pay.mo.
It will have all the same functionality, but with different branding.

Someone could develop a Rom based on G3 for our LG LG L90?
All the beginning of custom ROMs are made using a base, in our case cm11 its the referencial base to other developers. So think g3 based ROM is almost impossible.

I don't think that LG would do that... Would be awesome, but still... Meh.
Its gonna happen in 2015. Any phone released in 2nd half of 2014 will get it. Also, look up on google "lg g3 apps apk" and you will find updates on XDA for things like the ui, launcher, and messenger
